A tremendous coin! No, this is NOT the coin we sold with the monster 1885 last month. Since we had only seen one other-ever, we had to buy this!

This coin seems much flashier than the other 1886 we just sold. Boldly lustrous surfaces are very clean and smooth. They actually have a slight two tone effect (hard to describe nickel/nickel). There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and have light frosting. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 6, NGC 4, CAC 3. NONE are graded finer. We can not stress enough the great rarity of this date in GEM-and even more so in Superb GEM. If you collect GEM MS Liberty Nickels, this is your one shot. When this coin is gone, good luck finding any others (1990-2010, NONE have appear in any major auctions).

We have no idea how this coin has survived 108 years in the highest state of preservation possible! Legend has been dealing in high quality coins for OVER 30 years-and we have NEVER seen ANY Liberty 5C as high quality. We do designate it in the top 5% of ALL MS67 Liberty Nickels that exist. Also we think its a borderline MS68.

If you think we are exaggerating the coins quality-just ask to see it for your self. This is a very REAL and PERFECT specimen. Both sides are satiny and have NO marks anywhere or any size. A monster full booming luster nearly blinds you. This is a totally ORIGINAL GEM and not a dipped coin. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and stand out boldly. The eye appeal is PHENOMENAL and then some!

We submitted this coin to the PCGS Secure Plus service and did not get a plus. There was NO reason for that. This coin is SUPERIOR to the majority of 3 Leggers in MS65 holders we have ever seen! One look and you will agree.

Unquestionably VERY high end, this coin offers NO impairments of any kind, anywhere, or any size. A full booming luster shows off slightly satiny surfaces. The color is white with a hint of gold. Also, there is no question this coin is totally original. ALL of the details are sharply struck-and the fourth leg is clearly missing.
