Gold:Eagles:Liberty
Item - 5545
$10 1857S PCGS XF45
 TOTALLY ORIGINAL!
$ 1450.00
ON HOLD
Yes, we do call this a GEM XF! It is totally original.

Both sides have some light tiny and old ticks and lines. There are NO major problems that stand out. The colors are a light copper by the rims and deep yellow gold in the centers. Surprisingly a decent luster is still visible. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is VERY nice!

PCGS 7, NGC 14, CAC 1. Note: these are so rare the published bids are WRONG. The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $1,375.00 in 1994 B+M!!!! These just do NOT trade any where. The last NGC to sell was back in 2004 DL and that brought $1,035.00. If you collect $10 Liberties by date, we are pleased to offer you a very RARE opportunity.

$20 1924 PCGS MS65+
 PLEASING QUALITY!
$ 2550.00
Have a nice pleasing MS65+ here. The surfaces are clean and are enlivened by a strong luster. There are NO spots. A hint of pink can be seen in the centers. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is nice!

Gold:Half Eagles:Liberty
Item - 5542
$5 1908 LIBERTY PCGS MS65
 GORGEOUS!
$ 3750.00
These are really not hard to come by in true GEM. However we have NOT been able to find any pretty ones that are CAC stickered until now.

An intense headlight type luster can be seen from across the room. Only a few very teenie ticks are visible with a strong glass. The originality is unquestionable. There are NO spots or discolorations. The color is a deep gold with hints of orange gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is really gorgeous!

PCGS 168, NGC 235, CAC 26. SightUNSEEN for anything is $3,200.00. Opportunity knocks loud here!

25C 1870 PCGS PR65+
 SUPERB PLUS!
$ 3875.00
One of our favorite purchases from the ANA Show. It is the ultimate in SUPER HIGH END quality-and it offers exceedingly good value.

Even though PCGS couldn't pull the trigger and grade it PR66, we do think it is a 65.9.

Both sides have super clean, crystal clear, and highly reflective mirrors. Moderate and totally ORIGINAL shades of royal blue/purple/violet/gold/sea green swirl over the surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!

Stats for a regular PR65: PCGS 9, NGC 13, CAC 3. PCGS has only graded 2 in PR66 after 20+ years of operations. These just seem too cheap.

Gold:Three Dollar
Item - 5544
$3 1883 PCGS AU58
 A SUPERB GEM AU COIN!
$ 4850.00
Here is a VERY realistic and completable suggestion: do a set of $3 gold 1880-1889 in AU58 (or you could have some as AU55). Our guess is it would cost you around $40-$50,000.00 MAXIMUM (if all AU58). Look at the mintage: 1881 (500), 1885 (800), 1886 (1,000). The set is cool (and obsolete) and the potential is staggering!

This could be a perfect coin to start your set with. No question it has NEVER been messed with. It has NO visible wear on the high points. Only under a glass can you see some light lines and a teenie tick or two. There are NO discolorations or spots. The color is an even pale orange gold. Both sides are intensely lustrous and do have traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is VERY pleasing!

This is one of what we like to call the "silent stoppers". ONLY 900 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 31, NGC 28, CAC 4. Opportunity is pounding here!

Item - 5541
$10 1880 NGC MS64
 THE REAL DEAL!
$ 4975.00
There is NO question to us this coin is a MS64 all day long!

Extra sleek and smooth surfaces show off nothing more than a few very teenie and scattered ticks. To the naked eye the coin does look pretty clean. A full booming luster adds to the pretty mild orange color. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 16, NGC 19, CAC 2. ONLY NGC has graded a single coin higher (MS66). The last one of these (NGC) to sell in a major auction brought $5,635.00 08/06 B+M.

Item - 5533
25C 1861 PCGS PR65
 VERY HIGH END!
$ 6500.00
ON HOLD
Clearly above average for an 1861. It is also totally original!

The mirrors are deep, clear, clean, and offer strong reflectivity. A moderate crescent/circle of royal blue hugs the peripheries on both sides and opens into deep champagne centers. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!

1000 were minted, but it is believed about half were melted due to poor sales. PCGS 4, NGC 14, CAC 3. PCGS has graded only 3 coins higher. Not an easy date to find in GEM Proof!

Dollars:Morgan
Item - 5535
$1 1881S PCGS MS67+ EX SONNIER
 THE PEACOCK!
$ 6750.00
Peacocks hate this coin-its got all their colors and then some! We originally sold it to a dealer who got it into an NGC MS68* holder (cert included). We didn't think it looked right. So when we had a chance to buy it-we did. Its been sitting on our desk since the day it arrived in the office.

We call this coin "The Peacock" because it has identical colors as the bird-only the coin is more iridescent. Electric shades of pearl green/royal blue/violet/gold/amber/purple all swirl together on the obverse in a fashion that would make your eyes pop out. Technically, this coin is a 67/68 on bad day! There are practically no marks,. The luster is crazy intense. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. This is NOT just another toned dollar-it is a wild masterpiece!

Gold:Three Dollar
Item - 5537
$3 1868 PCGS MS62
 HIGH END!
$ 6950.00
What a neat coin. No question it is closer to MS63 than MS61! Most important: IT IS TOTALLY ORIGINAL!

Only some MINOR lines and very teenie ticks are scattered about. There are no eye catching problems. The surfaces do appear smooth without a glass. Both sides have a very strong luster. The color is a light mix of yellow gold with centers of deeper orange. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have very sharp strikes. The eye appeal is excellent!

ONLY 4850 were minted. PCGS 40, NGC 27, CAC 2 (these are impossible to find original and nice-hence the low CAC numbers)! The last one sold at a major auction brought $5,578.00 B+M 06/09. Even if you do not collect $3 pieces, the valued offered here is great!

Dollars:Seated
Item - 5534
$1 1873 SEATED PCGS PR64 CAMEO
 A GLITTERING GEM!
$ 7500.00
ON HOLD
Only 600 pieces were ever minted. These are very scarce in PR64 Cameo and higher!

This is exactly what you want to big Seated Dollar proof to be: all mirrors! Both sides have nothing worse than a few light lines. The mirrors are clear, clean, and have powerful reflectivity. There is some light toning on the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have extra sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 23, NGC 16, CAC 1. An FYI: At the ANA Show we helped a customer acquire a PCGS PR65 CAMEO CAC coin. It cost $16,100.00. Opportunity knocks here!
