Cents:Lincoln Item - 5413 1C 1944D STEEL CENT NGC AU55  LOOKS BETTER THAN JUST AU55! $ 75000.00 Even in worn down, choppy, low circ. condition (about good) these coins are so rare and in demand they trade for $12,000.00! This is a killer AU55 and is the ONLY 1944D Cent stickered by CAC! This is one of the few Steel cents we have ever seen without planchet issues. Typically they come rough and looking chewed up. The surfaces are smooth and original. They do offer a little luster. Lincoln and all of the details are well struck. These were made from leftover blanks from 1943. While there is no exact mintage known, it is estimated that for 44D less than a dozen pieces exist. PCGS 0, NGC 1, CAC 1. Here is your chance to own are very rare and historic piece.
