1C 1852 PCGS MS65RD
 ULTRA HIGH END!
$ 7950.00
Next to the amazing $30,000.00 Naftzger coin, this coin is next finest!

We did not send it in for a +. And if PCGS can't grade that Naftzger coin MS66RD, then they are not going to make this any better (what a shame, they really need to get some copper graders in)!

Both sides are absolutely PERFECT! They do have some teenie TONING dots scattered about (which the image will blow up), but they have NO impairments anywhere. The surfaces are smooth and have an intense luster. The color is a slightly faded totally ORIGINAL 100% Mint Red. You do not have to be afraid of this coin turning RB, a mellow RD is well preserved. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. This is NOT your average MS65RD Large Cent: it has incredible jaw dropping eye appeal!

PCGS 20, NGC 6, CAC 2. PCGS does have ONE MS66RD. It must be one heck of a coin-it sure is worth tons!

 STRUCK IN ALUMINUM!
$ 44500.00
One of only 2-3 known (this is an R-8). We bought the last one to appear at auction for $50,600.00 1/08 Stacks. That coin is now locked up in the Simpson Pattern Collection.

It is believed this piece was struck from regular $3 dies. Using a strong glass, you can tell this clearly was a "test pattern". You will see a few lint marks and a few imperfections in the planchet. The mirrors offer strong reflectivity. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 1.

If you are a serious Pattern Collector, we urge you to strongly consider this rarity. After its sold, you are not going to find another one!

 INTENSELY LUSTEROUS!
$ 550.00
You can't miss this coins intense luster-even from across the room! Both sides are sleek and clean. A light to moderate hint of gold covers the surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are actually pinpoint sharp in strike. The eye appeal is exceptional!

PCGS 199, NGC 163, CAC 6.

 ALMOST MS67FH!!!!
$ 9500.00
This is not a coin for someone who is a price buyer. If you want dreck for cheap, please got to our competitors!

Using a powerful glass you will virtually NO imperfections other than a widely scattered teenie tick or two. The surfaces are smooth and blaze with a full booming luster. Save for a tiny patch of gold by the date, this coin is blazing snowy white. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have light frost. You do NOT need a glass to see the rivets or the sharpness of the head. This coin is light years above the average 1923. The eye appeal is mind boggling too!

PCGS 24, NGC 13, CAC 3. PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher. A perfect coin for the ultimate perfectionist!

5C 1886 PCGS MS66
 FLASHY!
$ 33000.00
A tremendous coin! No, this is NOT the coin we sold with the monster 1885 last month. Since we had only seen one other-ever, we had to buy this!

This coin seems much flashier than the other 1886 we just sold. Boldly lustrous surfaces are very clean and smooth. They actually have a slight two tone effect (hard to describe nickel/nickel). There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and have light frosting. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 6, NGC 4, CAC 3. NONE are graded finer. We can not stress enough the great rarity of this date in GEM-and even more so in Superb GEM. If you collect GEM MS Liberty Nickels, this is your one shot. When this coin is gone, good luck finding any others (1990-2010, NONE have appear in any major auctions).

 SUPER LUSTEROUS!
$ 1100.00
Only one teenie tick on the lower cheek from MS66!

Amazing surfaces are incredibly lustrous and are clean overall. The color is a beautiful nickel blue. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck-there is some MINOR weakness on the corn. The eye appeal will make your jaw drop!

PCGS 78, NGC 56, CAC 3.

J-1374 1874 $10 PCGS PR65RB EX GARRETT
 ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!
$ 47500.00
This is an R-6 (21-30 minted). As Pattern fans know, we are building one of the worlds greatest ever sets of Patterns-the Simspon Collection. So we have seen or handled just about every rare pattern that exists. And we are not kidding when we say this is one of the finest Bickford patterns we have ever seen-in any metal!

First, we unquestionably consider this coin anyones + or * as it no question ULTRA HIGH END. Its also one of the few large size copper Proofs that actually have deep, clear, perfectly clean, and highly reflective mirrors. The color has about 70% ORIGINAL Mint Red and looks crisp. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and has light frost. The eye appeal is like the coins quality-ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!

PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 1. We happen to have a higher grade in BN in our set. This coin is definately the chance of a lifetime for ANY serious Pattern buyer. Its not even priced at a fraction of what the gold sold for! We think this particular coin should be worth $100,000.00!

It is housed in its old green tag holder that does say Garrett.

 SUPERB!
$ 7950.00
The real deal! These are not as easy to find in true MS67 as the pop reports seem to indicate.

Both sides have a super velvety appearance and show off NO problems. Even under a glass all you can find is a minor frost break. A strong luster shows off pleasing even gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations and this coin definitely is original and not dipped. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is fabulous plus!

PCGS 32, NGC 57, CAC 4.

1C 1857 LARGE CENT PCGS PR65RD NAFTZGER
 AMAZING!
$ 77500.00
An amazing GEM from the ultimate Large Cent Collection-Naftzger! before we're finished describing this piece, you'll probably read the word amazing many times.

We are head over heals in love with this outrageous and unquestionably amazing ORIGINAL GEM PROOF. The mirrors are decent and offer light reflectivity. There are ZERO impairments anywhere. The spots you see scattered around are 100% toning dots. Both sides are a marvelous ORIGINAL GEM MINT RED color. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have light frost. The eye appeal of this coin is like the quality-AMAZING!

Now this is a rarity you NEVER see offered. ANY PR Large Cent is true unmessed with GEM RED is extremely rare. The mintage is only 238 pieces. PCGS 2, NGC 0. There are NONE finer.

The other known GEM PR RED coin sold for $74,750.00 in a Stacks sale 11/2008. We feel this coin represents and amazing opportunity. Even if you do not collect Large Cents, it can go in a PR Type set, or its phenomenal value for a piece just to put away. Legend Numismatics is proud to own and offer this amazing GEM to our customers.

$1 1888S PCGS MS65 SUNNYWOOD/SIMPSON
 INCREDIBLE PAPER TONING!
$ 4500.00
SUNNYWOOD/SIMPSON COLLECTION. One of the last coins to be replaced. The coin that now resides in Simpson is an MS66 that has gorgeous color-but not as many colors as this coin.

To start, this coin is a high end MS65. Only under a strong glass can you find a few tiny ticks on the obverse. Both sides enjoy a full booming luster. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The reverse is untoned and is semi-prooflike and just about MS66 quality.

The obverse colors are from paper tissue (where the coin was probably stored). Hints of electric pearl green/violet/royal blue all swirl around the folds. The centers are a champagne/golden brown mix. This is a date that you will rarely if ever see with pretty and original toning. Opportunity knocks loud here!

We posted this coin at our BEST price!
