$1 1900S PCGS MS66 DIER COLLECTION
  LOOKS LIKE AN 80S!
Sold on 06/2009
Dier had assembled a complete set of Morgans about 4 years ago. They were decent quality and ALL were white. This coin was a duplicate from a world class Morgan Collection we are exclusively building these days. The owner will only accept the BEST QUALITY.

There is NO question this coin is above average for the date and the grade. Shimmering surfaces are exceptionally clean and explode with a full booming luster. Of course, both sides are blast white. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do stand out. Her cheek is rounded and NOT messed with. The eye appeal is bold.

PCGS 91, NGC 18. The last one to sell in a major public auction brought a whopping $4,025.00 02/09 Heritage. Even an NGC coin sold for $3,738.00 06/08 Heritage. Fortunately, we are not selling this in a competitive auction atmosphere.

$1 1901 NGC PR65
  AN IMPRESSIVE GEM!
Sold on 04/2009
We handle so few of these because this date is far harder to find nice than most people know.

Most important, this coin has ultra glassy, deep, clear, amazingly clean, and incredibly reflective mirrors. This is NOT a dipped out retoned coin. A splash of deeper golden brown/russet/navy covers portions of both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is excellent.

Only 813 were minted. PCGS 12, NGC 38. This coin will fit nicely into any GEM colored PR set.

  HIGH END!
Sold on 08/2008
We sold this wonderful coin to a long time customer over 15 years ago! It was in an NGC holder and we crossed it and got it stickered (all no brainers). Originally when we sold our customer the coin, he had showed it to Wayne Miller (remember him?). Wayne said this was one of the best MS63's he had seen in a long time. To this day, we agree, its clearly PQ, but it is NOT an MS64.

Only a few light and scattered ticks are visible. Overall, the surfaces are clean, sleek, and just explode with a full booming luster. Some russet/purple/blue colors frames the rims only on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have exceptional strikes. This coin has a ton of life and is NOT your typical bagged up, crusty, or dipped out 1901. Keep in mind, the next step up costs close to $50,000.00 for a nice example. This coin has NOT been in any auction or offered anywhere since we last sold 15 years ago!

We can't believe the PCGS pops are correct: PCGS 111, NGC 86.

Sold on 07/2010
Above average! There are just a few light ticks or lines around-nothing major to focus on. The surfaces are lightly semi-prooflike and emit a strong luster. The color is a silvery white. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have full strikes. Her cheek just has some light frost breaks. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 2463, NGC 3966, CAC 46.

  VERY HIGH END!
Sold on 04/2010
Hard to believe, but the last time Legend owned a white and nice 1902 PCGS MS66 $1-was in 2006! These are tough, but not that rare. We just haven't seen any we liked!

There are more marks on the holder than on the coin. A few very trivial ticks are scattered about and are all that keep this coin from an MS67 designation. A full booming luster shows off the beautiful white color. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. Her cheek is amazingly clean and rounded. The eye appeal is dazzling!

PCGS 393, NGC 170, CAC 22. Not an easy to find coin. In MS67 one would cost well over $5,000.00-if you could find one.

Sold on 06/2010
A "no brainer" MS65+. Super clean and satiny surfaces reveal only a minor frost break and NO marks. A strong luster makes the soft white colors stand out. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is exceptional!

  INTENSELY LUSTROUS!
Sold on 02/2009
There are more marks on the holder than the coin! Both sides are blast white. An intense booming luster shows off clean and smooth surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted but have full crisp strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!

  INTENSELY LUSTEROUS!
Sold on 01/2010
McCLAREN COLLECTION.

This is the first 02O MS66 in the deal to CAC. We do not recall seeing many other 66's at all.

No question this coin is a real MS66. Both sides are amazingly clean with just a few teenie ticks scattered about. traces of faint semi-prooflike mirros are made visible because of the intense luster. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. This coin definately has NOT been messed with! The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 437, NGC 439, CAC 24. PCGS has graded only 6 coins in MS67 (none are cac).

  A LOCK MS66 EVERYTIME!
Sold on 11/2009
Haven't handled or owned one of these in ages. We paid PQ money for it because it is so nice. Keep in mind, this date does NOT come like an 80S.

Sleek and very clean surfaces highlight both sides. A full booming luster shows off gorgeous silvery white surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. Her cheek is clean and definitely has NOT been messed with. This is Not an MS65 in an MS66 holder! The eye appeal is excellent!

PCSG 28, NGC 9. There are 4 coins higher by PCGS-one of which we just paid $46,000.00 for. A coin that belongs in any SUPERB GEM MORGAN collection.

WOW-a super high voltage GEM! The luster is so intense the sun can't match the rays it goves off. Both sides are surprisingly clean and just have a scattered patch or two of light white spots. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. This coin has not been messed with. It has great eye appeal!
