$1 1892CC PCGS MS64 SUNNYWOOD/SIMPSON
A SENSATIONAL COLORED NEAR MISS MS65!
Sold on 05/2010
WOW! BOTH sides are outrageously toned!

After surveying this GEM with a strong glass, we could not find many marks. To the naked eye, this coin looks super clean. You can clearly see the cheek is devoid of problems. A full booming luster adds to the colors. Miss Liberty is fully struck and have light frost.

We grade the colors MS67.9! If we had not seen the coin Sunnywood replaced this with, we'd think he was crazy for calling it a duplicate! BOTH sides are evenly blanketed by a circular mix of neon like blue at the rims which blends into killer violet/burnt orange/pale purple/gold colors. You will look at this coin ALL day-its that awesome! < br>
If you are building a colored CC Morgan set, we know you won't find a prettier colored 1892CC!

A regular white average MS65 will still cost you $8,000.00.

This was one of the last coins Sunnywood replaced in his #1 set. Thats why it still could be pedigreed Sunnywood/Simpson (our customer who owns the set now) on the holder. This was not just a duplicate. We have posted this coin at our BEST price!

$1 1892CC PCGS MS65
  PRETTY OBVERSE COLORS-EX SUNNYWOOD COLLECTION!
Sold on 12/2009
Not pedigreed on the holder, but this coin is from the only complete GEM colored Morgan Collection assembled-the Sunnywood Collection.

This coin is not just about color, its about VERY high end quality. Even using a powerful glass, looking through the colors, and scanning every minute area, this coin has NO problems. The surfaces not only are sleek and clean, but they DO emit a very strong luster. The obverse has mixed original colors of gold/reddish gold/lavender/champagne/blue/pale violet. The reverse is mostly snowy white with a little gold by the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have virtually full strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous! Rarely do we ever see an original colored 92CC.

PCGS 275, NGC 143, CAC 13.

$1 1892CC PCGS MS65
  BLAZING LUSTER!
Sold on 01/2010
We have not had a pleasing quality frosty white GEM 92CC since 2007! This coin was a "no brainer" for us to buy.

Like an solid MS65 GEM Morgan should be, this coin is intensely lustrous and frosty. The surfaces have just a few trivial ticks and look clean overall. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. Her cheek definitely has NOT been messed with. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 282, NGC 155, CAC 15.

$1 1892CC PCGS MS65 SONNIER COLLECTION
  PHENOMENAL COLOR!
Sold on 04/2010
SONNIER COLLECTION. Rarely will you find 92CC's with any genuine pretty color. We grade the color MS66.5. This is a two sided color coin too.

The technical quality is superior-in fact we call this coin VERY high end. Only a few very teenie ticks can be found when using a strong glass. To the naked eye its clean and smooth. An intense luster makes the fully struck features stand out.

The reverse has moderate shades of gold/golden brown. The obverse is a beautiful swirling mix of original pale green/blue/gold/violet colors. You do not have to tilt the coin to see the colors. This coin belongs in ANY high end Morgan set!

We have posted this coin at our BEST price!

$1 1892CC PCGS MS66
  INTENSELY LUSTEROUS!
Sold on 04/2009
We've probably handled half of the population for MS66's. This coin is definitely solid for the grade.

There are just a few teeny ticks scattered about-none that detract or make this coin low end for the grade. It IS clean overall. An intense luster shows off traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. The surfaces are blast snow white. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have wonderful thick snow white frost. This coin is totally original and clearly has never been messed with. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 18, NGC 12. PCGS has graded 2 coins higher-one of which we placed in major collection we are exclusively helping to build. The last one of these to appear in major auction auction sold for $23,000.00 1/09 Heritage. Prior to that, they were selling for $21,850.00 up to $27,600.00 (2007-2008).

$1 1892S PCGS AU58 SUNNYWOOD/SIMPSON COLLECTION
  LOOKS BETTER THAN MOST UNCS!
Sold on 06/2010
SUNNYWOOD/SIMPSON COLLECTION. Until the MS63 came along, this was the BEST Sunnywood could do for a colored 92S. The colors are clearly original and definitely look like album toning. We actually like the colors on this coin better than the MS63!

At first glance the surfaces appear smooth and clean overall. Only when using a strong glass can you see a few hairlines and a touch of rub on the highpoint of the cheek. Both sides do emit a surprisingly strong luster. The colors are a sandy golden brown on the obverse. The reverse has sandy golden brown that mixes with some blue/green that totally covers the surfaces. We grade the color MS64.5. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is really exceptional! This is NOT a dull or drab coin.

PCGS 67, NGC 102, CAC 4.

The last non colored one to sell in a major auction brought $12,650.00 1/10 Heritage. Sunnywood paid $16,100.00 for this coin back in 2005. Opportunity knocks loud here!

$1 1893 NGC PR65 CAMEO
  SUPERB!
Sold on 05/2008
We rarely see any Cameos of this date offered for sale. This piece was a "no brainer" for us to buy.

Not a typical cameo look in that it is mixed with color. The mirrors are clearly deep, have ZERO imperfections (can't say the same about the holders) , have no haze, and are highly reflective. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have a bold silvery gray frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!

$1 1893CC PCGS MS63
  A TRUE COLORED CC DOLLAR!
Sold on 10/2009
Save for the Sunnywood Collection, we do not recall the last time we have seen a true colored 93CC $1.

We can not tell for sure how it got toned this way. Vivid colors of golden brown/pale gold blend into blue at the rims on the obverse. The reverse just has gold at the rims. The surfaces are clearly visible and reveal on a few light scattered ticks. Also, Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck-they do NOT have that pancake flatness. The eye appeal is phenomenal!

If you love colored Morgans, then this rare date is one you want to see!

A NON colored 93CC sold for $5,750.00 03/09 Stacks.

$1 1894 PCGS MS66
  NEARLY MS67!
Sold on 12/2009
1894 is one of the most underrated dates in the Morgan Dollar series. Do not be fooled by the pops, these are hard to find in TRUE GEM, let alone SUPERB GEM. There are NO MS67's.

When this coin was made a few years ago, we came close to buying it and paying $100,000.00. The coin would have been worth every cent! In fact, we have seen many MS67's of other dates that this coin blows away.

Both sides are extremely clean, satiny, and smooth. There are NO marks of any significance. A full luster brings out the silver white surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have light frost. There is no question this coin has never been messed with. The eye appeal is fabulous! PCGS 4, NGC 0, CAC 2.

NOTE, the holder has some lines and scratches-there are NONE on the coin!

This is one heck of an opportunity for any serious Morgan Dollar collector.

$1 1894 PCGS PR65 CAMEO
  PHENOMENAL!
Sold on 05/2010
We definitely are NOT hyping the coin by calling it PHENOMENAL! You have to see this PR65CAM+++ coin to believe it (no, it is NOT in a Secure Plus Holder)!

Unbelievable icy clear, super clean, and glassy smooth mirrors off the ultimate in reflectivity. A thin band of blue/pale violet colors frame the rims only. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted a silvery white and are fully struck. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!

972 pieces were minted. PCGS 8, NGC 6, CAC 1.

The last NGC coin to sell in major auction brought $6,612.00 07/08 Heritage. The last PCGS PR65 Cameo sold at a major sale brought $5,175.00 in 2002 Superior! This date and grade are NOT by common by any stretch. And we doubt many of the specimens that do exist come close to this coins killer quality. Another FYI: The last PCGS PR66Cameo that sold at a major auction brought $20,125.00 08/2004 B+M! Even a NGC PR64Cameo sold for $4,600.00 in 2009. Opportunity knocks incredibly loud here!
