EX SUNNYWOOD COLLECTION-however this is NOT noted on the holder. This is from his 3rd set of duplicates.
We have NEVER seen an 1884 with color, let alone with full bag toning! First, on a technical level, the coin is all there. Both sides are are amazingly clean, satiny, and have a full booming luster. The colors are a killer iridescent pale violet that blends into softer amber/blue-green/violet/reddish orange on about 75% of the obverse. The colors are NOT flat and the luster really makes them look awesome!
There are NO price guides or auction records for a coin with this much color. We did price the coin at a level we feel is very fair and not a ridiculous multiple (a regular NICE MS66 would sell for about $800.00). Be glad this coin is NOT in an auction. If you LOVE neat rainbow colored Morgans, here is one you won't see many of!

It has been a VERY long time since we have seen one of these we liked. This coin was worth the wait!
We fully agree with both PCGS and CAC about this coins status. It is an unquestionable true SUPERB GEM. Both sides are satiny and are super clean. A full booming luster shows off gorgeous snowy white surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. There is no question this coin has never been messed with. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 33, NGC 38, CAC 3. There are two MS68's-one was an upgrade and the owner is asking $35,000.00 for it. Here, we are offering a better looking coin that is a real MS67.

True GEM Proof Morgans (in our opinion) are one of the most beautiful coins to see. One look and we knew we wanted to own this one!
Superior glass like mirror surfaces have no visible problems. They are the ultimate in clarity and reflectivity. Only using a strong glass can you detect any small thin lines. A stunning thin band of reddish gold frames the rims only on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have beautiful silvery white frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!
Only 875 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 12, NGC 11, CAC 1. Not a date or grade you see offer in any frequency.

An easy coin to love if you are into super black and white DMPL's. There are a few tiny scattered ticks, but none detract from the grade or killer eye appeal. The mirrors are a full 8"++ and have a nearly blinding reflectivity. There is NO haze. Miss Liberty and the details are heavily frosted a thick snow what and are fully struck. There really is no such thing as a better 64DMPL!

This is the way all DMPL's should look-ULTRA CAMEOED! Both sides have mirrors that are fully 8" deep, crystal clear, and have very few ticks. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. They are also covered by the most remarkable thick snow white frost you can imagine. Best of all-this coin is NOT messed with. A DMPL that will make your eyes pop out.

Fully black and white cameoed! All DMPL's should look this good! Both sides have full 8"++ mirrors that are so deep and flashy they could glow in the dark. Just a few teeny ticks are visible-none large enough to focus on. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The details are coated with a thick pure snow white frost. The cheek is clean and is NOT thumbed or messed with. If you seek an Ultra Black and White 84CC, then check this GEM out!

this coin is the epitomie of what a"widget" is not. Sure, you CAN find these, but you certainly can NOT find them looking like this! We unhesitatingly rank this coin in the top 2% for the grade. Just a light line from MS67, this coin does have the look. it is not messed with. The surfaces are sleek, clean overall, and have a monster intense hard white luster. Miss Liberty and the details are heavily frosted and fully struck. For an 84CC, this is a WOW coin! Keep in mind that an MS67 looking like this will cost you OVER $4,000.00.

Very close to full DMPL. The mirrors are exceptionally deep, clear, and reflective. They have a few teenie scattered light ticks but nothing appears to detract from the grade or eye appeal. One look and your eyes will pop out! THIS COIN IS A FULL BLACK AND WHITE ULTRA CAMEO!
Just a few VERY minor ticks and lines are scattered about. They do NOT detract. The mirrors are jet black and have incredible depth and clarity. A touch of russet is at 8:00 on the reverse. Miss Liberty and the details are heavily frosted a snow white. All of the features are fully struck. This piece is a "no brainer" killer GEM! Not all 65's look like this.

GODZILLA MEGA DEEP MIRRORS!

This coin has 10" +++++ MONSTER DEEP, CRYSTAL CLEAR, AND INCREDIBLY REFLECTIVE MIRRORS. What keeps it from an MS65 DMPL? As you would expect, a few ticks. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and stand out with heart pounding thick pure snowy white frost. The eye appeal is MIND BOGGLING! This is the type of ULTRA DMPL you see offered only once a year or so.
