  BOLDLY SEMI-PROOFLIKE!
Sold on 10/2009
McCLAREN COLLECTION. This is how a SUPERB GEM Morgan is supposed to look!

Both sides have a blinding cartwheel luster that dramatically shows off strong semi-prooflike mirrors. Only under a glass can you find any teenie lines or ticks. Miss Liberty is fully struck and have moderate frost. No question this coin is unmessed with. The eye appeal is fantastic!

CAC 100.

  TREMENDOUS LUSTER!
Sold on 10/2009
McCLAREN COLLECTION. Its amazing how Mr. McClaren was so right on by what he had purchased. Nice, fresh, original, and mostly white coins dominate his holdings.

Unlike so many Morgans we have seen, this is NOT an MS66 in an MS67 holder! If you want a cheaper one, there are plenty of lesser quality ones you can buy-and most likely none with the CAC sticker.

A full booming cartwheel type luster beams from both sides. The surfaces are clean and have slight semi-prooflike mirrors. There is no toning and the color is a frosty white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. Her cheek is clean and not messed with. The eye appeal is dazzling!

  SEMI-PROOFLIKE!
Sold on 07/2009
Eye popping Morgans have always been popular. And to find one nearly perfect-well it makes even die hard Morgan lovers shed a tear of joy! We are pleased to present a phenomenal Morgan for your consideration.

Amazing surfaces reveal on light die polishing lines-not any whacks or problems. They are also moderately semi-prooflike. A full booming luster beams from both sides. There is a teenie patch of light toning at 11:00 on the obverse. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick white frosting. Her cheek is unbelievably clean, rounded, and just perfect. The eye appeal of this Superb GEM is great!

PCGS 140, NGC 241. This is NOT an MS67 in an MS68 holder. You also have CAC's sticker-something which is NOT awarded to over graded or messed with coins.

  GLASSY MIRRORS!
Sold on 03/2008
VERY HIGH END QUALITY! Only using a strong glass can you see a few stray lines. The mirrors are deep, clear, clean, glassy, and have bold reflectivity. A moderate mix of blue/pale violet/golden brown frames the peripheries on both sides. Miss Liberty and the detaisl are exceptionally struck and have light silvery white frost. The eye appeal is beautiful! PCGS 19, NGC 13. The last one to sell in auction went for $4,370.00 in 04! Opportunity knocks loud here!

$1 1881 PCGS MS65+ SUNNYWOOD/SIMSPON
AN KALIEDESCOPE OF MOTHER NATURES WONDERS!
Sold on 04/2010
SUNNYWOOD/SIMPSON COLLECTION. WOW, WOW, WOW! Mother nature really out did herself here! This is a semi rainblow multicolored 1881!

PCGS loves this monster too! They designated a + in their new Secure Plus holder. Regardless, the colors (for an 1881P) grade MS68. The obverse has circular bands of green/violet by the rims. They open into rich vibrant gold/pale blue centers. The reverse is just and explosion of the same swirling colors all over!

Quality wise, for this coin to be a +, that means PCGS rates it high end for the grade technically. Only a few teenie ticks can be detected when using a glass. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. Needless to say the eye appeal is tremedous!

We posted this coin at our BEST price!

  A BLAST WHITE GEM!
Sold on 02/2009
SUPERB in every respect!

The overall cleanliness of this GEM is impressive. Only a very small and light scuff on the cheek can be detected-if you look hard. Both sides are blast white and have a full booming cartwheel luster. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is great! This coin definitely belongs in a top Morgan Collection! It is housed in an older green tag holder.

PCGS 61, NGC 48. PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher.

  WONDERFUL!
Sold on 03/2008
A beautiful ORIGINAL GEM. Superior deep and "liquid" like mirrors are clean, clear, and have tons of reflectivity. Gorgeous shades of reddish gold/blue colors frame the outer rims only. Some gold does make it into the fields. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have nice frost. The eye appeal is fantastic!

This is a PR ONLY date with just 920 minted. PCGS 18, NGC 15. The last record we could find of one selling at auction was for $9,775.00 in 09/07 at a Heritage sale.

  MONSTER MIRRORS!
Sold on 02/2008
One look and you will wonder why this monster mirrored piece is not designated a UCam. We can not stress enough how miles deep and crystal clear the mirrors are. They have flash so bright you need sunglasses when you are within a mile of them (that also means ZERO haze)! We'd call them watery and 12" deep (they really are amazing). There are just a few trivial marks-nothing that detracts from the grade-which is VERY HIGH END. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and are bathed in a bright white frost. The reverse is full 64++ quality. A must see if you love deeply mirrored Trade Dollars! PCGS 11, NGC 17.

  FLASHY!
Sold on 03/2008
Both sides offer a pretty black and white cameoed appearance. There are a few teenie ticks in the fields. The mirrors are a full 8" deep, have great clarity, and are powerfully reflective. Miss Liberty and the details are heavily frosted a snowy white and have full strikes. The eye appeal is excellent!
