SONNIER COLLECTION (not on holder). WOW, WOW, WOW! This coin clearly has MS68.5 color and has a technical grade of only MS64. We actually toyed with the idea of keeping it raw.
The colors are so wild we think this coin came from another planet! Deep textile toning is streaky and covers the entire obverse. the colors are rich navy/pearl green/violet/gold/royal blue. An intense luster makes the colors really pop. Only if you use a strong glass, can you see a few tiny ticks under the colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The reverse is a full frosty MS65. You will be blown away by the colors!

Killer 8++ inch mirrors are crystal clear, are amazingly clean, and have nearly blinding reflectivity on the obverse. The reverse has semi-prooflike surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick bright white frost. There is a hidden bagmark on her lower chin/neck-which is what keeps this coin from MS66+ and being worth well over $1,000.00! Regardless, the eye appeal is absolutely breathtaking!

SONNIER COLLECTION (not on holder). Real simple, named this monster after our favorite 4th of July Fireworks display (held every year in Red bank NJ)-KABOOM!
True to its nickname, this coin is real firecracker. The obverse has MS69.7 colors. Monster chromatic shades of skyrocket pearl greens/sparkler violets/exploding amber swirl together wildly while evenly covering the surfaces. Super bold semi-prooflike mirrors combine with an intense luster to give you the ultimate in radiation.
Technically, this coin is a solid MS65. Only under a strong glass can you see a few ticks. Nothing is visible or detracts from the colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is a total KABOOM! This is the kind of coin that in major auction would bring a run away price. We stopped dealing in colored Morgans years ago as the standards had become grossly lax for what is true monster color. There is no question this Christmas tree look like has MONSTER ORIGINAL BAG TONING!
Besides the colors, the quality is actually MS66++. Smooth and strongly semi-prooflike surfaces reveal no flaws. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick creamy white frost. Without the wild colors the reverse has great eye appeal!
The obverse is everything and then some that will make your eyes pop out! Electric neon colors of pearl green/violet/blue/amber blaze with the most tremendous blast we've seen in years. Under a glass you can see a few scattered burlap bag dots-proving the colors are totally original. Take our word on this-if this coin was a jaw dropping monster, we would not have bought it.
