$1 1881S PCGS MS68 EX SUNNYWOOD
  AWESOME ORIGINAL BAG TONING!
Sold on 09/2009
We are pleased to offer this amazing duplicate from the finest collection of colored Morgans ever completed-the Sunnywood Collection. The pedigree is NOT noted on the holder.

This coin is everything you would expect it to be. First, the technical quality is all there. Shimmering smooth surfaces are loaded with luster. There is nothing more than a teenie bagmark or two scattered about (nothing that takes it away from an MS68). Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck.

Lets discuss the colors: The obverse has a monster neon like color scheme of violet/royal blue/amber/electric green/pale lilac. The reverse is mostly original white with a small blush of gold. The eye appeal is what you would expect from any coin the Sunnywood collection-gorgeous! Most important, the CAC sticker also verifies that the colors are real and this coin was never messed with.

  AWESOME COLORS!
Sold on 06/2009
Rarely do we ever see CC's in the 1890's with any genuine colors.

Boldy prooflike 4"+ mirrors really pop and make this coin special. The mirrors are deep, clear, and have incredible reflectivity. The color scheme on top is a mix of vibrant green/gold/amber/blue/pale purple. You do NOT have to tilt the coin to see the colors! These definitely are not dark or drab. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. There are a few small ticks on the cheek, otherwise, this coin would be a full MS65 and worth a fortune! The eye appeal is totally sensational.

Another duplicate from the fabulous Sunnywood Collection of Morgans. We have NEVER seen another 91CC like it.

  GORGEOUS!
Sold on 01/2010
WOW! THIS IS A REAL MS67!!!!! That's a pretty big issue since the Morgan series suffers from severe upgrading.

At first glance, this coin looks more like a commoner 83O. All of the surface area is smooth and VERY clean. Any ticks are teenie and are really only visible with a strong glass. The luster is intense and really shows off the bright white color. This is NOT a dipped out coin! Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and have light frost. Her cheek is amazingly clean and rounded. Any old time perfectionist dollar buyer WILL love this GEM!!!!

  A GODZILLA MONSTER COLORED COIN!
Sold on 07/2009
We stopped dealing in colored Morgans years ago as the standards had become grossly lax for what is true monster color. There is no question this Christmas tree look like has MONSTER ORIGINAL BAG TONING!

Besides the colors, the quality is actually MS66++. Smooth and strongly semi-prooflike surfaces reveal no flaws. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick creamy white frost. Without the wild colors the reverse has great eye appeal!

The obverse is everything and then some that will make your eyes pop out! Electric neon colors of pearl green/violet/blue/amber blaze with the most tremendous blast we've seen in years. Under a glass you can see a few scattered burlap bag dots-proving the colors are totally original. Take our word on this-if this coin was a jaw dropping monster, we would not have bought it.

The image may not due this coin justice. Even the most picky colored Morgan buyer will drool over this piece of art!

  PRETTY PERIPHERIAL COLORS!
Sold on 07/2009
Beautiful overall appearance. The centers are smooth and have a satiny texture. Only a few teenie ticks are visible under a glass. A strong luster enhances the pretty shades of gold/blue/violet that swirl around the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. 1883 is not a date we see with a lot of color frequently.

  TREMENDOUS LUSTER!
Sold on 07/2009
If you love luster, then this is the GEMMY Morgan you want to own!

Both sides are just drenched in a thick unbroken booming luster. The surfaces overall are clean and smooth. A ultra light splash or dot or two of pale creamy white/gold can be seen scattered on both sides (don't get us wrong, this coin is blast white). Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full crisp strikes. Of course her cheek is rounded and is not messed with. The eye appeal is nearly blinding!

$1 1882CC PCGS MS65 DMPL
A REAL FULL BLACK AND WHITE DMPL!
Sold on 07/2009
Haven't had one of these in ages that we liked. CAC sure does not sticker just any DMPL's they see either.

Even though 1882CC's are famous for shallow mirrors, this coin is not typical. The mirrors are very clean, deep, clear, clean, and have bold reflectivity. They are definitely 8" plus. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and have generous amounts of snowy white frost. The eye appeal is tremendous! if you covered up the date, you'd be thinking 83CC.

Forget about the published BID prices on this GEM. Only the lackluster, lightly mirrored, and typical 82CC's trade for those numbers!

  WHAT A MONSTER!
Sold on 07/2009
This coin combines the very best of ALL worlds. Its from an obsolete Mint, its 125 years old, and its a monster cameoed GEM!

This piece is a FULL ULTRA BLACK AND WHITE CAMEO GEM. No imagination is needed to see that. Both sides have mirrors that are 8"+++ deep, have amazing clarity, and are highly reflective. Just a teenie tick or two is visible-and they do NOT distract from the grade. There is also a teenie dot of mint grease in the right obverse field. Miss Liberty and the details are amazingly frosted a pure snow white. They stand out also with a full strikes. The eye appeal is a total WOW!

PCGS 51, NGC 11. We'd guess not even 10% of the 84O DMPL's graded look like this! Here is a great opportunity for a picky DMPL collector to acquire a stunning specimen.

  BOOMING WHITE!
Sold on 08/2009
McCLAREN COLLECTION. WOW! Does this coin have flash!

A full booming luster glows from both sides. Just a few minor ticks are visible if you use a strong glass. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have light frost. Her cheek is outstanding in terms of roundness and cleanliness. This coin was not messed with in any way. Its also a real MS67, not an MS66 bumped up. The eye appeal is terrific!

  KILLER RIM COLOR!
Sold on 08/2009
McCLAREN COLLECTION. Even Picasso couldn't have dreamed up this awesome rim colored coin!

Very high end quality too. Electric shades of blue/violet/gold frame the rim on the obverse and just a hint on the reverse. The centers are a blast creamy white. An intense luster illuminates the awesome colors. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick snow white frost. The eye appeal is so powerful your head will spin!
