  KILLER MIRRORS!
Sold on 01/2013
What a great coin. Its not washed out or retoned. Can't beat originality!

Superior deep, crystal clear, clean, and boldly reflective mirrors look glass. With a strong loop you can see some light lines. NOTHING is serious or deep. There is some light peripheral color. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have thick creamy white frost. The eye appeal is dramatic!

ONLY 800 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 7, NGC 8, CAC 4. PCGS has graded possibly only 5 coins better. How rare is this date and grade? The last one (a non CAC of course) to appear in auction-was back in 2009! That coin brought $6,325.00. Fast forward to today and good luck finding another!

  VERY CHOICE!
Sold on 02/2013
Not an easy date or grade to find nice!

Sleek and glass like mirrors adorn both sides. They are clean overall. Only with a really strong glass can you see a few hidden lines. The mirrors are also deep and have bold refelctivity. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have extra sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!

  A BORDERLINE MS!
Sold on 02/2013
WOW! This coin is a real borderline MS piece. Much to our surprise, it has a ton of life!

Only some light and well hidden wear on the cheek is what keeps this coin from an MS designation. The surfaces are amazingly clean and smooth. A booming luster actually can be seen around the protected areas and the rims. Both sides are blanketed by a totally ORIGINAL mix of navy/deep purple colors which open into brilliant royal blue rims. This is NOT a drab or dull coin. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do very much stand out. The eye appeal is incredible!

PCGS 8, NGC 15, CAC 2. We can not stress enough the extreme rarity of this date in full MS. No PCGS/CAC piece has ever sold at auction. PCGS has graded maybe 2-3 pieces after 25+ years of operations. Any Bust Dollar enthusiast will know this is an opportunity that a rises once every few years!

  A SUPER SONIC GLITTERING GEM!
Sold on 03/2013
Its nearly impossible to find these earlier PR Seated Dollars with so much bold flash. This coin has BOTH flash and superior quality!

At first glance your thinking late date 1870's. This coin has extremely sleek, glass like mirrors. There are a few scattered light lines, but the mirrors are clean overall and have remarkable clarity. The reflectivity is intense. Both sides are evenly covered by a moderate lavender/pale blue mix. This coin is far from dull or drab. Miss Liberty and the details fully struck and do have thick frost. The eye appeal is jaw dropping gorgeous!

It is estimated ONLY 60 were ever minted. PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2 (we do believe this is both coins). PCGS has graded only ONE coin higher. Opportunity knocks loud here for any Seated Dollar lover or for someone who just wants to put away a really neat coin!

  AWESOME!
Sold on 02/2013
This is a GEM AU for sure!

Its one thing to find a commoner 1799 AS fresh and ORIGINAL, but a 1797? Almost impossible! This piece has amazing qualities.

We are blown away by the tremendous amount of ORIGINAL luster that still beams from all over. The surfaces are clean overall. The wear is visible but is light and not distracting. Both sides are evenly covered by an ORIGINAL mix of lively pewter/silver colors. There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck with a surprising amount of the eagles breast feathers (on the reverse) clearly visible. The eye appeal is like the quality-tremendous!

PCGS 10, NGC 3, CAC 2 (CAC has only beaned 2 coins higher). The other 1797 PCGS/CAC AU53 sold at auction in 11/12 Stacks for $21,850.00. This coin is fresh to the market. We bought this coin right and will offer it a fair price!

  SUPERB!
Sold on 02/2013
This is a totally OUTSTANDING coin. VERY high end quality too!

Shimmering "ice" like mirrros are remarkably clean, sleek, crystal clear, deep, and have intense reflectivity. You can see the mirrors flash from across the room. They show that even 150 years ago the Mint knew how to make great proofs. A mellow and very pretty mix of totally ORIGINAL lavender/golden brown/pale purple evenly cover the surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and sharp stand out strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!

ONLY 460 were ever minted. PCGS 8, NGC 5, CAC 1. NO PCGS/CAC pieces have ever sold at auction. These are impossible to find this nice!

  STUNNING COLORS!
Sold on 03/2013
We are fiercely proud to own and offer this magnificent HIGH END GEM. It is everything and then some a PR 66 Seated Dollar should be!

Deep and highly reflective mirrors beam from all over. unusual for a big coin that the mirrors are also surprisingly clean and have great clarity. You know this coin sat forever undisturbed as it has acquired outstanding vibrant colors of ORIGINAL blue/green/violet on the obverse while the reverse is more a blue purple. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is totally jaw dropping for sure!

About 1000 were minted (most were melted). PCGS 3, NGC 7, CAC 1. Very important: the last one sold in major auction was back in 2004! That coin realized $23,000.00 11/04 Heritage. You can't get anymore powerful proof as to how rare and undervalued a piece like this is! For one not to show on the market for almost 9 years-thats impressive!

This piece certainly will be a star in any collection. who ever buys it will have one heck of a collection!

  SUEPR HIGH END!
Sold on 07/2013
Having built the all-time FINEST ever MS Set of Seated Dollars, we know how each date should and should not come. 1840 can be deceptive. There are not many nice ones available.

Not only is this piece nice, its VERY HIGH END! Save for a few invisible lines on the leg, technically you can grade this coin an MS63 (we make NO guarantees it ever will-it has been tried many times). The surfaces look clean overall and only have a few light lines/marks which you need a glass to see. A strong almost fully booming luster highlights totally ORIGINAL dove gray/light lavender/pewter colored surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is fabulous and then some!

PCGS 16, NGC 41, CAC 6. We can't say we have seen many equals to this piece!

  SUPER CHOICE!
Sold on 05/2013
Having built the all time FINEST (actually make that the greatest EVER) MS Seated set, we know how every one should come. ALL of these dates in the early 40's are illusions, they simply do not come very nice. Fortunately, the collector who sold us this piece did all the hard work and found a really nice coin!

This is a HIGH END piece. You can only find some TINY ticks hidden in the dreaded right field while looking with a strong glass. Otherwise, this coin is remarkably clean and smooth. A moderate luster also shows off totally ORIGINAL deeper colors of navy/gold/purple/pale green/olive that swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and stand out nicely. We grade the reverse a full MS64. The eye appeal is really nice!

PCGS 14, NGC 10, CAC 7. NO PCGS/CAC piece has ever sold at auction. Do NOT let the POP reports fool you, these are incredibly hard to find! A PCGS/CAC MS64 would run you at least $20,000.00, if you could even find one!

  SURPRISING NATURAL LUSTER!
Sold on 04/2013
We call this coin a VERY CHOICE AU. The originality and quality are unsurpassed for an 1803!

This coin's full booming cartwheel type luster is mind bogglingly impressive. Everything about this coin oozes originality. The surfaces are remarkably clean and smooth. The obverse is a natural dove gray while the reverse is more of a pale gold/gray color. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and have only light wear. There are NO bold discolorations on the high points. The eye appeal is really pretty!

PCGS 20, NGC 9, CAC 4. NO PCGS/CAC piece has ever been at any major auction. A NON CAC piece sold for $7,931.00 (1/13 Heritage). The coin offered here has been off the market for many years in the hands of a long time Bust Dollar specialist. We promise you, you won't find many (if any) similar!
