Item - 4416
$1 1888 PCGS MS65
  FUNKY OBVERSE TISSUE TONING!
Sold on 10/2009
Ex Sunnywood Collection (NOT NOTED ON THE HOLDER). Wicked neat toning. Swirling clusters of purple/violet/magenta/blue/baby blue/gold/amber colors blend together only on the obverse. The reverse is completely white. Just a few tiny ticks are visible on the obverse-none of which seriously detract from the grade or looks. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is really crazy! Not a date we see at all with real toning.

$1 1884 PCGS MS66
  A MULTICOLORED GEM! EX SUNNYWOOD!
Sold on 11/2009
EX SUNNYWOOD COLLECTION-however this is NOT noted on the holder. This is from his 3rd set of duplicates.

We have NEVER seen an 1884 with color, let alone with full bag toning! First, on a technical level, the coin is all there. Both sides are are amazingly clean, satiny, and have a full booming luster. The colors are a killer iridescent pale violet that blends into softer amber/blue-green/violet/reddish orange on about 75% of the obverse. The colors are NOT flat and the luster really makes them look awesome!

There are NO price guides or auction records for a coin with this much color. We did price the coin at a level we feel is very fair and not a ridiculous multiple (a regular NICE MS66 would sell for about $800.00). Be glad this coin is NOT in an auction. If you LOVE neat rainbow colored Morgans, here is one you won't see many of!

$1 1882CC PCGS MS66
  75% RAINBOW TONED!
Sold on 12/2009
EX SUNNYWOOD COLLECTION (NOT noted on the holder). One look and you can see why Sunnywood bought this magnificent colored GEM.

Technically, the coin is all there. It is a real and sold MS66. There are NO major marks. A strong luster highlights the colors. A rainbow effect of original burlap bag toning shows amber/pearl green/gold/violet/blue all seamlessly blending together on the obverse only. The reverse is fully white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is awesome and your eyes will pop out! Not many GEM CC's come with rainbow colors!

$1 1896 PCGS MS66
  VERY HIGH END!
Sold on 11/2009
McCLAREN COLLECTION. This has to be one of the nicest MS66's we have seen from the deal. It really looks more like an 1886 (which come nice).

Both sides are exceptionally clean and smooth. Only with a strong glass can you detect a teenie tick or two. A full booming luster booms on every inch of the surfaces. There is no toning and the color is a silvery white. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is like the quality-exceptional! It IS that close to MS67!

CAC 38. A CAC MS67 would cost you at least $6,000.00. But good luck, the only one stickered is tied up in major collection!

EACH COIN IS BLAST WHITE AND HIGH END!
Sold on 11/2009
McCLAREN COLLECTION. While looking through the dollar boxes, we saw a few beautiful Morgans, so we decided to bundle and offer them as a little group.

Each coin is HIGH END, blazing showy white, VERY clean with only a few trivial ticks, and has an intense luster. The 82S is nearly prooflike on the obverse. Miss Liberty and the details are heavily frosted and all have sharp strikes. We picked these coins with the expectation the worlds pickiest buyer will purchase them! You'll love the eye appeal and tremendous flash.

SORRY, NO IMAGES ARE AVAILABLE.

We posted this handpicked group at our BEST price!

$1 1896 PCGS MS66
  SUPER HIGH END!
Sold on 11/2009
McCLAREN COLLECTION. This is our last Super High End 1896. The others we have are just average!

This coin is amazing. We have seen MS67's not nearly as nice.

Both sides are incredibly clean and smooth. Even using a powerful glass you can find anything in the fields. Only a well hidden frost break keeps this coin from being worth $6,000.00. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is awesome!

PCGS 620, NGC 549, CAC 40. No matter how picky you are, this coin WILL more than meet your expectations. If ALL MS66 1896's looked like this, they'd easily be $2,000.00 coins! Also, no question this GEM is unmessed with.

This coin is posted at our BEST price!

$1 1900 O/CC PCGS MS66
  A PHENEOMENAL GEM!
Sold on 03/2010
We love the drama of there being an O/CC in 1900. This has forever been one of our all time favorite dates and grades in the Morgan series! The other just happens to be the 1894 PCGS MS66 $1 we have listed in our NEWPS.

There is no question in our minds that this coin not only is SUPER HIGH END, but it ranks in the top 2% of all MS66's graded for the date!

Both sides are remarkably clean-displaying on a very minor and widely scattered tick or two here and there. A monster full booming luster enhances the gorgeous white color. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The O/CC is so crisp you do not need a glass to see it. The eye appeal of this coin is wonderful!

PCGS 76, NGC 10, CAC 7. PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher (one sold for $25,000.00 earlier this year). Opportunity knocks loud for the serious and pickiest Morgan Collector!

$1 1878CC PCGS MS65
  AN AMAZING COLORED GEM!
Sold on 12/2009
This MONSTER colored Morgan is Ex Sunnywood (not noted on the holder). It has to rank among the prettiest 78CC's we have ever seen (Save for one group of 3 coins that is now long out of the country). This coin just explodes with color!

We have NEVER seen electric blue/green on a 78CC before. It is easy to tell though that the toning is original burlap bag color. The peripheries are a bright gold/pale violet on the obverse. The reverse has a spectacular crescent of the same colors on about 1/3 of the terrain. On both sides, there seems to be nothing worse than a few teenie scattered ticks. An incredible luster adds to the killer original colors. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. Even if you are a not a color dollar lover, this coin is so beautiful your jaw will drop anyway!

You and search everyday and pay whatever it takes, but you will certainly NOT find anything remotely similar to this GEM!

PCGS 1533, NGC 1054, CAC 29.

$1 1881S PCGS MS66 5 COIN LOT
  EACH COIN IS BLAST WHITE!
Sold on 11/2009
McCLAREN COLLECTION. We went and picked the 5 best MS66's we had in the deal. Each coin is HIGH END, CLEAN, and has an INTENSE booming luster. ALL are white coins. There are some scattered ticks-but they are all VERY minor. Miss Liberty and the details are all frosty and fully struck. Unless you are unrealistic, you WILL be pleased with this group of 5 coins.

Sorry, no images are available.

We have listed these at our BEST price.

$1 1884CC PCGS MS65 DMPL
  FULLY CAMEOED!
Sold on 11/2009
CAC is exceedingly strict on what it stickers. DMPL's especially. They believe in the old time "black and white" look.

This coin definitely is fully cameoed. The mirrors are 8" deep and have total clarity and incredible reflectivity. Only a few ticks are scattered about-none that seriously detract. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick white frost. The eye appeal is awesome!

PCGS 559, NGC 232, CAC 22.
