$1 1880S PCGS MS65+ SIMPSON COLLECTION
  BLUE ROMANCE!
Sold on 06/2010
EX Simpson Collection-one of the greatest ever formed. We call this romance blue because there is no way you won't fall in love with the sexy semi neon like blue colors.

We think this GEM could have been graded MS66. We certainly have seen worse in MS66 holders. Only one small tick can be found. The surfaces are virtually flawless and have strong semi-prooflike mirrors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The colors are a pale baby blue/royal blue which blends into purple/violet/pale tangerine colors. Your heart will pound and your eyes will pop out!

WE HAVE POSTED THIS GEM AT OUR BEST PRICE!

$1 1883O PCGS MS65
  DEEP RAINBOW COLORS!
Sold on 07/2010
WOW! Over 2/3 of the obverse are covered by spectacular deep rainbow waves of color!

The technical quality of the coin is a solid MS65 all day long. There are are a few tennie ticks, but they do NOT stand out or make this a low end coin.

The color is true burlap bag rainbow type. Waves of deep magenta/aqua green/violet/baby blue/amber all burst from the obverse. If you use a glass, you can see burlap dots on Miss Lib's forehead. The reverse is white with a small area of baby blue/gold color. A bold luster also shows off sharply struck details. The eye appeal will make your jaw drop!

We are pricing this at a super fair level-THIS COIN IS POSTED AT OUR BEST PRICE!

$1 1879S PCGS MS66 EX SONNIER
  PSYCHO ART!
Sold on 07/2010
Yes, this is from the incredible Sonnier Collection of colored Morgans. We have just repurchased this coin from the original buyer. .

"Psycho art" is what we have named this electric tissue paper toned GEM. Its got neon like colors shooting out from many different areas that are squared off. This is NOT your typically patterned color Morgan! You have all the outrageous obverse rainbow shades represented: red/electric violet/amber/royal blue/gold/aqua green/pale lilac. The reverse has lilac centers with pale violet/gold rims. Besides all that wild stuff, the technical quality is all there. PCGS showed no mercy to the coins from this amazing collection!

If you missed all these coins the first go round, here is a rare second chance to buy one of the neat looking monsters from Sonnier!

$1 1881CC PCGS MS65DMPL
  BLACK AND WHITE!
Sold on 11/2010
Fully black and white cameo contrast! We can tell you from experience two things: most GEM CC DMPL's are in Japan and CAC does not sticker many DMPL's.

This coin is a beautifully contrasted GEM! Deep 8" mirrors do have some ticks, none are harsh. There is no haze and the reflectivity is powerful. Miss Liberty and the details are covered by a thick layer of creamy white frost. There is a small grease stain (from the minting process) in the center of the cheek (this is common on 81CC's). The eye appeal is a total WOW!!

PCGS 192, NGC 76, CAC 10. Opportunity knocks loud here!

We have posted this coin at our BEST price!

  A MONSTER SNOW WHITE GEM!
Sold on 07/2010
There will always be some wise guy out there who will say "my coin is better". Well, that is IMPOSSIBLE! This coin is unquestionably an MS67PL.9+ and it has moderate cameo contrast!

At first glance, your head explodes! This coin has ZERO impairments of any kind ANY where. Even using the strongest glass, you will find NO problems. Bold prooflike mirrors are very reflective and add amazing life to both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted a snowy white and are fully struck. The cleanliness and roundness of her cheek ranks among the BEST of ANY have ever seen! Eye appeal wise: there is no Morgan buyer on earth who wouldn't LOVE this coins looks!

PCGS 42, NGC 67, CAC 5. The last PCGS to sell at major auction brought $2,300.00 in 2006 Heritage. If you need a special Morgan for a Type set, this piece is perfect.

$1 1881S PCGS MS67PL
  AN EXPLOSION OF SILVER!
Sold on 07/2010
Similar to the 1879S PCGS MS67PL we have listed-just this coin is nearly perfect vs totally (as the 79S is).

Ultra liquid/mercury rolling fields are highly reflective 4" mirrors. Needless to say this piece is untoned. They are amazingly clean, clear, and flashy. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted (the reverse looks cameo DMPL) and have full strikes. The eye appeal is amazing!

PCGS 65, NGC 109, CAC 9. The last two to sell in major public auctions brought $1,840.00 03/10 Heritage and $1,725.00 02/10 Heritage. We can assure you, this coin is neither and probably would give those coins a huge run for their monies!

$1 1887 PCGS MS65 EX SIMPSON
  TROPICAL THUNDER!
Sold on 07/2010
WOW! Over 3/4 of the obverse is covered by electric deep neon type bands of color. We call it Tropic Thunder because it reminds us of lush jungle colors!

First, we do not know why this coin is only an MS65. It has a few very light and widely scattered ticks-we have seen far worse on MS66's. The surfaces also radiate with a full booming luster. In the end, its all about this coins MONSTER colors. The color mix is deep green/pearl green/violet/rose/amber/gold/sky blue. Mother nature did awesome work here! Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and fully struck. The reverse just same some areas of gold by the rims. You need to wear sunglasses to view this coin as the eye appeal is so spectacular!

Both sides are graced by 8"++ deep, crystal clear, and incredibly flashy mirrors. There are only MINIMAL teenie ticks scattered about (there are more ticks on the holder)! Miss Liberty and the details are heavily frosted a snow white. ALL of the details are fully struck. Most important, this coin has NEVER been messed with in ANY way. The eye appeal is spectacular!
