$1 1875 PCGS PR63 CAMEO
  FLASHY!
Sold on 06/2011
We wish all PR63 Trade Dollars could look this good!

Deep and super reflective mirrors do reveal a few light lines-but nothing serious. There are NO marks or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick creamy white frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!

Only 700 pieces were ever minted! PCGS 16, NGC 24, CAC 6. The last one of these to sell in major public auction brought $3,738.00 11/2010 Stacks.

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

$1 1877 PCGS MS65
  A STONE ORIGINAL GEM!
Sold on 07/2011
Trade Dollars, the series where we made our name-having built the all time finest ever never possible to ever be out done MS Collection. This coin actually was in the set at one time. The 1877 was the last GEM date we had trouble finding!

First we MUST educate you that 1877's do NOT come nice. We had searched EVERY MS64+65 to find the right one for the set (today we have an MS66 after 15 years of efforts). We rank this particular piece as the 3rd finest MS65!

Shimmering surfaces offer faint semi-prooflike hints and beam with luster. A full booming luster shows off practically NO marks. There is a small thin hidden line on Miss Liberty. Both sides are evenly covered by a gorgeous mix of ORIGINAL pale olive/green/gold/violet/blue colors that look awesome. A few toning dots and stains can be found-but they are ORIGINAL. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and well struck. The eye appeal is as we said, gorgeous!

PCGS 6, NGC 11, CAC 6. We believe the PCGS+CAC pops are 2 coins too high.

We invite you to checkout the PCGS Registry to see the set this coin was in at one time. If you building a Type set or love big dollars, this is a special piece!

$1 1877 PCGS PR64 CAMEO
A FANTASTIC BLACK AND WHITE COIN!
Sold on 08/2011
This is the way these beautiful big coins should look-totally black and white cameoed!

Deep and super glittering mirrors command your full attention. They are like liquid mercury, have wonderful clarity, and have powerful reflectivity. Only a few microscopic lines can be seen scattered about. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have thick snowy white frost. The eye appeal is awesome!

ONLY 510 were minted. PCGS 13, NGC 11, CAC 4. The last PCGS/CAC coin to sell in major public auction brought $5,463.00 12/10 Heritage. This coin is worthy of any GEM full black and white Trade Dollar Proof set!

$1 1874S PCGS MS64+
  REMARKABLE!
Sold on 11/2011
This coin is knocking on MS65's door! We should know, we have handled just about EVERY GEM MS TD that exists. And of course we have built the all time finest EVER MS set. No one knows Trade Dollars like we do! And we DO LOVE this coin!

Incredible semi-prooflike surfaces are also loaded with an intense full booming luster. Only a few very trivial teenie ticks and lines keep this coin from being a full MS65. the color is a fiery creamy white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is PHENOMENAL!

PCGS 20, NGC 18, CAC 4 (all). This is the ONLY 64+ graded by PCGS. PCGS has graded 2 in MS65-one of which is locked up forever in our Legend MS Trade Dollar set. We do rank this as the 3rd finest MS 74S TD.

We can not stress enough how grossly UNDER valued ANY 64+ or higher MS Trade Dollar is! You certainly do NOT see them offered frequently.

$1 1877S PCGS MS65
  TERRIFIC!
Sold on 09/2011
We can never get enough TRUE GEM MS Trade Dollars! This coin has tremendous quality!

We have handled more GEM MS Trade Dollars than any other dealer. Remember, we built the all time FINEST set-ever. So we know how these come.

Much to our surprise and delight, this coin is PROOFLIKE. Not just semi-prooflike but fully mirrored. A full booming luster also shows off. The surfaces are super clean and have nothing more than a tick or two. A beautiful natural reddish/purple/pale gold color swirls all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 25, NGC 28, CAC 6. The last coin to sell in major public auction was a NON CAC piece. It bought $11,500.00 10/2010 Heritage. We think that price is ridiculous cheap. We also disagree with the pops. In the end, collectors will come to find there are far fewer GEM's than what they think. In our opinion, had these not suffered from gradeflation, they would be worth almost $25,000.00 each. Opportunity knocks incredibly loud here!

$1 1883 TD PCGS PR67+ CAMEO
  THE FINEST 1883 IN EXISTANCE!
Sold on 10/2011
This coin is totally UNBELIEVABLE! We know our Trade Dollars having built BOTH the ALL TIME FINEST MS+PR sets. This is one date you hardly EVER find nice, let alone so incredible!

Jaw dropping and totally AMAZING mirrors are the epitome of perfection! They are borderline ULTRA Deep, have awesome crystal clear clarity, you can't see even any teenie lines, and the reflectivity is dynamite! This coin is bold black and white. There is one super teenie toning spot on the obverse rim at 7:00. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and have thick snowy white frost. The eye appeal is spectacular and then some!

ONLY 979 were minted for this PROOF ONLY date. PCGS 1 (and they have only ONE coin graded regular PR67+), NGC 1, CAC 1. There is an NGC PR68 Cameo that sold for $48,875.00 back in 2005 Stacks. We strongly believe this coin presented here has UNLIMITED potential. We doubt you will EVER see an 1883 that s is similar or even close to this coin!

$1 1881 TRADE DOLLAR PCGS PR66
  BEAUTIFUL NATURAL COLOR!
Sold on 10/2011
This coin is way beyond your typical PR Trade Dollar! No question it is of HIGH END quality. It has GORGEOUS colors too!

Both sides offer shimmering deep, crystal clear, amazingly clean, and highly reflective mirrors. There is no haze or dullness. The colors are a deeper but not dark mix of slightly mottled ORIGINAL vibrant purple/blue/pale violet/magenta. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 9, NGC 19, CAC 2 (none higher). PCGS has only graded ONE coin higher. The last time a PR66 1881 sold in auction was back in 2006! Opportunity knocks loud and hard here! Until we get the image up, you can see the coin on PCGS cert verification: 20306349

$1 1883 TRADE PCGS PR65 CAMEO
A BLACK AND WHITE CAMEO HEAD LIGHT!
Sold on 10/2011
We had to go fetch this shimmering GEM away from the space shuttle crew! They were using it as a back up communications device because it is so flashy!

Ultra deep and black looking mirrors have ZERO imperfections (the holder actually has some-NOT the coin). The clarity and reflectivity are mindboggling on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and full struck. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!

This is a Proof ONLY Date with just 1.039 minted. PCGS 13, NGC 10, CAC 1. The last PCGS PR65 CAC coin to sell in major auction brought $10,925.00 01/2011. We can not stress enough how really rare and undervalued big coins like these are!

$1 1879 TRADE PCGS PR65
  ULTRA HIGH END!
Sold on 11/2011
We do not see a single reason as to why this coin is not a PR66. Of course we resubmitted it and had NO luck!

Outrageous GEM deep, crystal clear, super clean, and incredibly reflective mirrors dominate both sides. An incredibly beautiful mix of royal blue/purple/pewter colors swirls all over. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and have light frost. There are more lines on the holder then the coin! The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 35, NGC 42, CAC 5. These do not appear in auction as much as you think. The last one to sell brought $8,050.00 09/2010 Goldberg. If you love ORIGINAL toned trade Dollars, then you really need to see this GEM in person!

$1 1882 TRADE PCGS PR66
  GLASSY DEEP MIRRORS!
Sold on 12/2011
An exceptional coin in every way! This is NOT a dark or drab piece.

Super deep and wildly reflective mirrors are crystal clear and clean. Even using a strong glass you can not find any real imperfections-or even lines. The color mix is a totally ORIGINAL navy/olive/purple/deep pewter blend. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do have thick frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 17, NGC 31, CAC 4. A non CAC PCGS PR66 sold for $11,500.00 08/2011 Heritage. We think these coins are UNDER valued and have great potential ONLY if they are CAC'd or are properly graded.
