50C 1938D PCGS MS67
  VIRTUAL PERFECTION!
Sold on 08/2011
WOW! Hardly a blemish or problem anywhere!

Most impressive about this SUPERB GEM is its strike. You do not need a glass to see the fullness of the skirt lines or eagles feathers. The fields are super clean and smooth. Even the dreaded right field looks great. Both sides are strongly lustrous. Some thin peripheral toning is visible. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 25, NGC 21, CAC 10. The last 1938D to be sold in auction brought $10,925.00 1/2011 Heritage. A hard to find date and grade!

  REALLY SUPERB!
Sold on 07/2011
PCGS has such incredibly tight standards for PR Walkers. Couple them with what CAC demands and when you find a coin like this its you know its going to be special!

Deep and "watery" mirrors have not even the teeniest imperfection anywhere. Light to moderate peripheral toning is comprised of dusky shades of purple/gold/baby blue/pea green colors. Miss Liberty and the details have a faint silvery frost and are needle sharp in strike. You can see light contrast. The eye appeal is SUPERB!

PCGS 14, NGC 70, CAC 6. When was the last time you remember seeing a PCGS/CAC PR 68 Walker-of any date?

50C 1853 A/R PCGS PR65
AN AMAZING EXAMPLE OF A MAJOR RARITY!
Sold on 11/2011
Legend Numismatics is proud to own and offer this amazing GEM PROOF 1853 A/R 50C piece. No question it is a Proof and it is in the optimum condition! It has been off the market for the past decade.

Shimmering glass like mirrors are deep and do have some minor die polishing lines visible. There are NO problems visible. The clarity, depth, and flash of the mirrors is strong. An even mellow hint of light vibrant ORIGINAL gold covers both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have light frost. The eye appeal is superb!

This date is every bit as rarer than a 1894S 10C, 1804 $1, or even the famous 1838O 50C (which in PR 65 would be worth $1,000,000.00)! PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 1. Only NGC has one coin higher-a non stickered PR66 (which traded for $149500.00 in 2007 Heritage). We can confirm the NGC PR65 is locked up in major collection. We think that this coin is a legitimate steal in today's ultra rarity driven marketplace.

We are pleased to offer this once in a lifetime rarity for your consideration. Until we get the image up, you may view an image of the coin on the PCGS cert verification page. The serial number is 19749810.

  ULTRA HIGH END!
Sold on 07/2011
WOW! We have tried this 2x seeking an MS66+. What does PCGS want? This is an in your face no question SUPER HIGH END GEM!

For us, it was LOVE at first sight. Both sides are super clean and are satiny in texture. Even the dreaded right field is exceptionally clean. A FULL booming luster shows off the crisp snowy white surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are so well struck you do not need a glass to the separation of the thumb or the lines on the skirt. We can't stress enough how spectacular the eye appeal is!

PCGS 45, NGC 32, CAC 7. PCGS has graded 3 finer, but we'd put this coin vs those every day! If you are the pickiest Walker Collector, you WILL LOVE this GEM!

50C 1868 PCGS PR63 CAMEO
  DEEPLY MIRRORED!
Sold on 07/2011
We wish all PR63 PR Seated halves could look LIKE this!

Impressive deep mirrors are clear and have bold reflectivity. There are some light lines, but nothing to make you not like the looks. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted a silvery white and have full strikes. A light ring of reddish gold frames the rims. The eye appeal is great!

Only 600 pieces were minted. PCGS 6, NGC 4, CAC 1. The last Cameo to appear in major auction was back in 2004! Even then it brought $1,265.00 03/04 Heritage.

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

50C 1902 PCGS PR66 CAMEO
  A STUNNING COIN!
Sold on 08/2011
WOW! This coin is virtually a PR67 cameo!

Outrageous ultra deep and watery mirrors are crystal clear, super clean, and have nearly blinding reflectivity. Only when using a strong glass can you detect a small cut on the face (which is probably what keeps the coin from being a $20,000.00 PR67)! A stunning mix of ORIGINAL purple/navy colors form a thin band around the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick silvery white frost. The eye appeal is stunning!

PCGS 4, NGC 2, CAC 2. PCSG has graded only 2 coins higher. The last one of these to sell in major auction was a NON CAC which brought $9,200.00 1/2008 Stacks. This is definitely one of those post 1900 dates you can never find in true Cameo. Plus, this is NOT a dipped out sterile coin-it has life and color!

50C 1862 PCGS PR64+
  FABULOUS!
Sold on 08/2011
This coin is two things: a near miss PR65 and a near miss Cameo. They don't come any more high end then this!

Powerful mirrors are clear, clean (only a few faint lines), and have bold reflectivity. A thin band of navy/purple frames the rims only. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and stand out with moderate silvery white frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!

ONLY 550 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 48/1, NGC 61/0, CAC 8. This is the ONLY + PCGS has graded. They have CU posted as $4,000.00. A beaned PR65 would cost you at least $6,500.00 (and the pop is only 2 by CAC in PR65).

50C 1865 PCGS MS66
  ONE OF THE FINEST KNOWN!
Sold on 11/2011
We consider this coin to be totally remarkable! It unquestionably ranks among the FINEST known. The quality is slightly better than the other PCGS MS66 (and that coin is no slouch)

Smooth and satiny surfaces are clean overall. There is only one small tick hidden in the right field (which is the only thing to keep this coin from MS67 or 66+). A surprisingly strong full booming luster shows off the surfaces and colors. Both sides start with a band of electric royal blue then blend into a lilac/lavender/tangerine centers. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have extra strong crisp frost. The eye appeal is totally jaw dropping and sensational! Mother nature did an incredible job here.

PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 3. The other CAC coin sold for $19,550.00 in 11/10 B+M sale. Had it been in last weeks ANA sale, who knows what it would have sold for. It is also in an old green tag holder. PCGS has only graded a MS66+ higher.

Legend Numismatics is proud to own and offer this magnificent rarity/GEM coin.

50C 1812 PCGS MS64
  WOWZER!
Sold on 08/2011
WOW, WOW, WOW! No exaggeration, this coin is a VERY HIGH END killer GEM!

An insanely intense luster can be seen from across the room-or further! The surfaces are satiny yet have traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. There are a few light lines and some very light ticks that are ONLY visible with a glass. A gorgeous mist of auburn/opal reddish gold frames the peripheries on the obverse. The rest of the coin is a spectacular creamy white. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have pleasing frost. The eye appeal is jaw dropping major WOW factor!

PCGS 49, NGC 71, CAC 3. The last 1812 PCGS 64 to sell in auction was a NON CAC and it went for $3,967.50 06/2010 B+M. A MS 65 will cost you at least $15,000.00! Opportunity knocks loud here!

50C 1898O PCGS MS66
  PROOFLIKE!
Sold on 08/2011
We have only seen one other 98O that was fully prooflike. This is not only a beautiful coin, it is a very high end one too!

From across the room you can see the glitter of the prooflike mirrors. They are about 2-3" deep. They also are crystal clear, clean overall, and do have real reflectivity. Both sides are untoned and are a silver color. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have strong strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 3, NGC 2, CAC 1. Back in 08/2010 an 1898O NON CAC sold in a heritage auction and brought $12,650.00. We do highly recommend this coin to any one building a Barber Collection or if they just collect really neat coins.
