50C 1893 PCGS PR65 CAMEO
  A GOLDEN OLDIE!
Sold on 02/2012
A true GEM in every sense of the word!

Super clean and strong mirrors reveal nothing more than a light scattered line or two. The mirrors have strong reflectivity. A thick peripheral ring of ORIGINAL blue/golden brown opens into lighter deep gold in the centers. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted a creamy white and have full strikes. The eye appeal is excellent!

ONLY 792 pieces were minted. PCGS 17, NGC 13, CAC 3. The last CAC PR65 Cameo to sell in a major auction brought $5,175.00 11/10 Stacks. Even the NGC NON CAC coins are selling for $3,450.00. This coin offered here has been off the market for many years. Opportunity knocks so loud here!

  A SUPERB GEM XF!!!!
Sold on 03/2012
Legend Numismatics is proud to own and offer this incredibly elusive SUPERB GEM XF piece. We call it such because it is everything and more that you would expect from an XF!

Outstanding surfaces show nothing more than a few very light and scattered old ticks. The coin has 'old time" toning all over. Both sides are free of spots and discolorations on the high points. Of course there is no evidence of cleaning or being messed with. There is a light glossy luster. Any wear is light and even. Miss Liberty and the details have every decent strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!

Do NOT be fooled by the pops. ANY NICE 1795 50C is impossible to find! PCGS 59, NGC 52, CAC 12. This is also a VERY rare variety-however we paid only a small premium. There is a WHOLESALE sightUNSEEN BID of $10,000.00 for ANY 1795 XF40 CAC. If you have been looking for one of these, we can not stress enough what a great opportunity this coin is. Good luck on finding another!

50C 1886 PCGS PR65 CAMEO
  BEYOND SUPERB!
Sold on 02/2012
We are pleased to have purchased a small group of remarkable GEM Proof coins from an "old time" collection at FUN. This piece is one. Quality and eye appeal wise, it is all there and then some!

Absolutely shimmering super deep, crystal clear, clean and wildly reflective mirrors adorn the surfaces. Besides being able to shave in the mirrors, you can skate on their super "ice" like appearance. A beautiful ring of blue/green/violet frames the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are stunning with full strikes and thick white frost. The eye appeal is total spectacular!

ONLY 886 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 9, NGC 8, CAC 4. PCGS has only graded 3 coins higher. The last PCGS/CAC piece to sell in major auction brought $5,463.00 02/11 Heritage. Prior to that a NON CAC PCGS piece sold for $4,887.50 1/2009 Heritage. This is definitely NOT an easy date to find in GEM. We are pleased to own and offer this totally ORIGINAL stunning GEM!

We like the + when used correctly. In this case, the + is correct! This is a VERY highend GEM!

Only a few INVISIBLE small lines scattered about keep this coin from grading a full PR65. The mirrors are super clean, deep, crystal clear, and have powerful reflectivity. They look like a fresh sheet of glass. There is NO toning anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have light frost. The eye appeal is really super!
