$1 1890 PCGS MS65
PRETTY COLOR!
Sold on
02/2009
This coin was either stored in tissue paper or a loose album for a very long time. The toning evenly covers all areas of the surfaces. Not rainbow toned (that how bag toning comes) this coin has intermingled shades of purple/blue/pale violet/tangerine/gold. A surprisingly strong luster shines through and makes the surfaces clearly visible. There are practically NO marks. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. Its very unusual to see a date like this with such pretty and original toning.

$1 1879CC PCGS MS65 PL
NEARLY FULL DMPL!
Sold on
02/2009
A borderline DMPL with amazing eye appeal!
Your jaw will drop when you see this magnificent boldly cameoed GEM. The quality is HIGH END. Both sides have mirrors that are 4"++ and are bordering full DMPL status. They are also clear and pretty clean overall. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. They are coated by an amazing thick snow white frost-like you would see on an 80S Ultra DMPL! This coin is unquestionably original and NOT messed with. The eye appeal will blow you away.
PCGS 7, NGC 4. There are NONE higher in PL by any service. In GEM DMPL PCGS has graded only 2 coins (of which each is worth well in excess of $50,000.00 today). An MS64DMPL sold for $25,300.00 in 01/08 Heritage. If you are building a special DMPL or even PL set, this is your coin! It has both monster quality and monster eye appeal.

$1 1894 PCGS PR67 CAMEO
AN INCREDIBLE SUPERB GEM!
Sold on
03/2009
We have NEVER seen one of these truly black and white cameoed with out any toning!
Glittering surfaces offer mirrors that are the epitome of perfection. They are super deep, crystal clear, boldly clean, and of course amazingly reflective. The mirrors look like a freshly formed sheet of ice. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have strong snow white frost. Her portrait really stands out. We grade the reverse full PR68. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!
PCGS has VERY tight standards for its high grade PR coins. The pops prove that. PCGS 2, NGC 28. Only NGC has graded 6 coins higher. Only 912 were ever minted.

A HEADLIGHT!
Sold on
02/2009
VERY HIGH END
By far this is one of the flashiest 1903 Dollars we have seen in quite some time. The surfaces have an intense thick luster that glows like the sun. There are NO imperfections in the fields. The color is a blast white. This is NOT a dipped out coin! Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. Typically, these come silvery with not a ton of luster. The eye appeal is a WOW!

VAM 12 ALLIGATOR EYE
Sold on
03/2009
We didn't buy this coin because of its variety. We bought this coin because of its outstanding quality.
AS you would expect on an MS67, both sides are satiny and are very clean. A strong luster shows off the untoned white surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. Her cheek is extra clean and puffy. This coin clearly has NOT been messed with. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 60, NGC 237 (for regular MS67's). PCGS has graded only one coin higher. The last MS67 to appear in a major auction sold for $2,530.00 1/09 Heritage. The prices on the CDN Sheets are grossly incorrect. Another sold for $2,415.00 1/07 at Heritage too.

PRETTY LIGHT COLORS!
Sold on
02/2009
CAC'd Morgan Dollars in very high grade are especially hard to find these days.
CAC and PCGS BOTH agree this is a top notch GEM! A pretty mix of light golden brown/blue/pale green/pale violet colors cover 2/3 the obverse. The rims on the reverse are framed by a gold/russet/pale violet coloration. We do believe this is original bag toning. A full cartwheel type luster not only shows off the colors, but shows off ridiculously clean surfaces all over. Not even a teenie tick can be found with a loop! Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and fully struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 111, NGC 119. Opportunity knocks loud here!

A SATINY GEM!
Sold on
06/2009
We are pleased to have purchased this spectacular nearly perfect GEM Morgan. It has all the qualities the fussiest buyer could hope for. The surfaces are sleek yet satiny. A full booming luster shows off NO marks or problems anywhere. Some light golden brown toning frames the outer rims only with small patches/swirls near the center of the reverse. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. Most important: her cheek is clean and well rounded. Clearly, this coin has NOT been messed with. The eye appeal is exceptional!
This a real MS68, not an upgraded MS67!

Fresh, frosty, and boldly lustrous surfaces are delight to see. They are exceedingly clean and have a slight trace of semi-prooflike mirrors. There is NO toning any where. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have strong frost. Her cheek is exceptionally clean and rounded. The eye appeal is nothing else than fabulous! This coin definitely is high end and has NEVER been messed with.
