1915 PR SET PCGS PR65-67+
A MONSTER SET!
Sold on
10/2012
This is probably the second finest 1915 set we have EVER seen intact. Sadly the #1 set was broken up (not by us). You never EVER see 1915 sets like this. The 10C-50C are ORIGINAL matched coins. We did add the 1C+5C-which actually match. The early coins are just awesome.
Here Are the grades and serial numbers of the coins (you can check PCGS cert verification for a sneak peak):
1C PCGS PR66 RB CAC 25135310
5C PCGS PR67+ CAC 25540890
10C PR65 CAC 25294520
25C PR66 CAC 25294521
50C PR 67 CAC 25399494.
Every coin is HIGH END and has awesome quality and awesome eye appeal. The Buffalo Nickel proof is a MONSTER and is probably onf the finest 1915's that exists period. The silver coins do get a little darker as you get progress to the 50C. Sets like these simply do not exist any more. At most ONLY 450 sets were ever minted.
This is a stunning set to put away. The price we are asking is a not inflated with a set premium. The 50C alone is a Pop 7 PCGS, the last one sold in auction for $15,525.00 in 2011 Heritage, and its pop 4 CAC. The other big coin is the 5C. It is a pop 2. NONE have ever sold at auction. The last PR68 that sold brought $31,000.00 in 2006-B+M. We easily valued this coin at $15,000.00. The 1C is phenomenal and is easily worth $7,500.00. Opportunity knock like never before here!

A DEEPLY MIRRORED SCREAMER!
Sold on
08/2012
Nearly a full cameoed too! This coin has blast!
Both sides have superior deep, crystal clear, super clean, and incredibly reflective mirrors. They are the type that have such blast you will twirl them all day. There is not even a hint of toning. The mirrors do have the :liquid mercury" look. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have strong silvery white frost. If the sun were frosted too, this coin would be worth $15,000.00++. The eye appeal is spectacular!
PCGS 173, NGC 223, CAC 46. The last one to sell in major auction brought $2,530.00 1/12 Heritage. This is our last untoned piece. Opportunity knocks loud here!

50C 1874CC PCGS AU58
LOOKS MS!
Sold on
09/2012
Bought this instantly after we saw it. Even after scrutinizing it, we really do NOT see any traces of wear. We unhesitatingly call this a SUPERB GEM AU!
Look as hard as you can with strong glass. What you will NOT see is any wear. The high points also have no discolorations. The surfaces are amazingly clean and do emit a slight luster. A natural mix of navy/purple/blue colors swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the details are extra sharp in strike. The eye appeal is really nice!
PCGS 6, NGC 8, CAC 3. The last time an AU58 sold in auction, one brought $23,000.00-in 2008 (a NON CAC of course). We do promise all you picky Seated collectors, this coin IS the REAL deal in terms of quality. We did NOT buy this from any auction. The seller claims this coin has been off the market for many years. Opportunity knocks loud here!

J-930 1870 PCGS PR66BN
PHENOMENAL!
Sold on
08/2012
Who says Patterns are overpriced??? Look at this piece-its really price about the same as a nice 1870 PR 50C would cost!
This coin is a R-7 with just 4-12 minted. It is a Longacre Half Pattern test design struck in copper.
Both sides display wonderful deep, crystal clear, super clean, and highly reflective mirrors. The obverse has deeper shades of coppery reddish chocolate brown while the reverse is a chocolate blue gold. We believe its colored this way simply because of how it was sitting for all these years. Miss Liberty and every detail is pinpoint sharp in strike and has light frost. The eye appeal is like the design: awesome!
PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 1. The other coin last sold in auction in 2008 Heritage (it was non CAC) for $8,050.00. You can even find a regular PR66 Half for this price today!

50C 1942 PCGS MS67
We will still buy all of these we can at our bids. We think that this far BELOW $1,000.00 makes them an affordable VERY good deal!
This piece will please the fussiest collector. It is super clean and satiny smooth. Even the dreaded right field is clean. A strong luster shows off pretty creamy white surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally well struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 210, NGC 373, CAC 79.

Sold on
09/2012
We only buy coins like this if they are really high end. As you can see-we own the coin!
Other then a few VERY miniscule teenie ticks (you need a glass to see), this coin is super clean and is slightly satiny. Both sides are drenched by a full booming luster. The luster shows of the hard white surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are remarkably struck. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 359, NGC 205, CAC 65 (NONE higher). PCGS has graded a total of 10 in MS66+. The last PCGS /CAC piece to sell in a major auction brought $2,300.00 6/12 Heritage. Keep in mind, the last PCGS (NON CAC) MS67 to sell brought nearly $26,000.00 in 2003!

A REAL MS66+!

This coin actually is as clean and smooth as a few MS67's we have seen! Even with a strong glass, the dread right field has nothing. A strong luster shows off not only the satiny surfaces but the pale ORIGINAL golden toning scattered about (mostly the peripheries). Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!
