A FIRECRACKER!
Sold on
08/2010
Had to buy this one! It has tremendous two tone colors.
A full booming beyond headlight luster can be seen from miles away. There are a few trivial ticks visible with a glass, but nothing major is visible to the naked eye. A phenomenal two tone mix of neon like pale pink/bright orange gold really makes your jaw drop. We are not asking any real premium for the color!
PCGS 858, NGC 1189, CAC 49.

A BLAZING HIGH VOLTAGE SUPERB GEM! !
Sold on
08/2010
Close to MS67! This is an eye popping stunning SUPERB GEM!
If you turn out the lights and go down the street you can still see this coin unreal intense luster. The sun does not even come close to its flash!
Both sides are also amazingly clean. The color is a bright yellow gold. There are NO spots or discolorations anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is absolutely PHENOMENAL!
PCGS 57, NGC 41, CAC 3. There are no recent auction records to support this coin. Do note, it IS CAC-which is impossible to find even on a common MS66 Saint and if compared to other MS66 14D's, this coin would simply blow them away! PCGS has graded one lone MS67. Opportunity knocks loud here for any serious and seriously picky Saint collector.

10C 1942 PCGS PR68 EX SIMPSON
ELECTRIC OBVERSE COLOR RINGS!
Sold on
08/2010
EX Simpson Collection-one of the greatest collections ever formed. We bough this coin for him when he was just starting. He loved proofs and he loves color. Merc. Dimes turned out not to be high on his list, so the few he had became expendable.
First, this coin does NOT have hazy mirrors. They are deep and flashy and do have a little light toning over them. An electric ring of violet/pearl green frames only the obverse rims. There are no imperfections visible anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. This is one merc that is total eye candy!
PCGS 37, NGC 116, CAC 14.

AN AWESOME SNOWY WHITE GEM!
Sold on
08/2010
To quote Fred Flintstone: Yabba dabba do! WOW is this high end SUPERB GEM special!
No kidding, this coin could rival a low end MS68 (common date). The cleanliness and smoothness of the surfaces is mind boggling. Only two TEENIE HIDDEN ticks keep this coin from MS68 (it DOES have the looks). Both sides are snow white and have an intense luster. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. Her cheek is clean and rounded. Absolutely positively, this coin has NEVER been messed with. The eye appeal is phenomenal too!
PCGS 51, NGC 58, CAC 5. There is only ONE PCGS MS68. That coin sold for $43,700.00 1/09 Heritage.
Even if you are the pickiest buyer alive, the quality and eye appeal of this SUPERB GEM will more than satisfy you! We unhesitatingly state this coin ranks in the top 2% of all 82CC's graded in MS67!

SENSATIONAL!
Sold on
08/2010
Too cool of a coin not to own! How often to do you see original SUPERB GEM O Mint Dimes? We sure do not see them a lot.
Perfect surfaces highlight both sides. They are satiny and lustrous. A beautiful thin ring of pale green/blue/golden brown frames the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. Only under a strong glass can you see a small die line on her face (it does not detract from the eye appeal or the grade). In fact, the eye appeal is awesome!
PCGS 9, NGC 4, CAC 3. Opportunity knocks loud here!

$2.5 1913 PCGS MS64
Looks like it was put away and never touched.
Only one very teenie tick can be detected if you use a strong glass. There is not much going on to keep this coin from full GEM classification. The surfaces are smooth and are super clean. The color is a beautiful deeper original orange gold. Both sides have a decent luster that also shows off the sharply struck features. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 642, NGC 804, CAC 27.

This coin has a teenie tick or two, but NO major problems or eye sores anywhere. A strong luster shows off a pretty original gold color. All of the details are sharply struck. Teh eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 247,NGC 202, CAC 12. The last one sold in major public auction brought $4,313.00 10/2009 Heritage. Prices have come down just a little since then (although similar pieces just sold for $3,700.00-$4,000.00 in the recent Heritage FUN Sale).
