Imagine what a perfect $10 Indian would look like and you have this special GEM! It is totally breathtaking.
Clearly since 1907 this coin has remained untouched. There are NO marks of any size anywhere to be found. The surfaces are satiny and have a super strong killer luster. Both sides are a gorgeous deeper yellow gold with hints of orange gold. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have crisp full strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous!

A shimmering beauty! There are some of the teenie standard frost breaks and ticks scattered about. NONE are close to making this coin low end or look bad. The bold silvery white surfaces have an intense luster. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is flashy!

Did not have any of these in McClaren. Do have a real nice above average example here. Both sides are clean, smooth, and pack an intense luster. There are no discolorations or spots. The color is a bold white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is terrific!

PHENOMENAL!
Sold on
03/2010
How many truly GEM coins can still survive from 1837? Not many! That's 173 years ago. This coin is just an amazing survivor.
We grade this coin a 66 all day. That is no guaranty this coin will ever go up, but you sure can not easily prove to us why its only a 65. The surfaces are remarkably clean and perfect. They are a little satiny and do have a strong luster. Most important., the unquestionable ORIGINAL color. The surfaces are about 50% GEM Mint Red and the balance is a light brown/pale blue color. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have light frost. The eye appeal of this GEM is PHENOMENAL!
PCGS 12 (probably this coin a few times), NGC 0, CAC 4.

VERY HIGH END!
Sold on
03/2010
Just one teenie little tick in the left obverse field keeps this coin from being a lock MS66. The tick is NOT huge or detracting. Overall, the surfaces are quite clean and sleek. A full booming luster shows off the beautiful white color. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal of this GEM is fantastic!
PCGS 563, NGC 334, CAC 17.

A GLOWING GEM!
Sold on
03/2010
Not a date or grade you see often. This coin is an exceptional GEM!
This coins technical qualities are REAL MS67. Both sides are super satiny, super clean, and have a super luster. A mellow mix of gold/lavender colors swirl over the surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. Under a strong glass you can detect some minor die clashing (Mint made). The eye appeal is totally beautiful!
PCGS 11, NGC 17, CAC 2. The last 3 to sell in auction brought: $5,462.00 Heritage 2009, $8,625.00 Heritage 2007, $9,775.00 Heritage 2006. These do not appear everyday!
