ULTRA CLEAN!
Sold on
04/2010
Any cleaner and PCGS would have to grade it an MS67!!!!!
The only marks on this piece are VERY light and do not stand out to the naked eye. Even under a glass there is nothing significant. The surfaces appear super smooth and are alive with an intense booming luster. Both sides are a creamy white. Miss Liberty and the details are fully frosted and are fully struck. The appeal is just gorgeous!

$5 1910 PCGS PR65
ONE OF THE NEATEST PR $5 INDIANS YOU WILL SEE!
Sold on
04/2010
Even though PCGS did not + this coin (it is in a PCGS secure holder) Legend Numismatics absolutely grades it a + and VERY high end. We will ALWAYS 100% stand by that and always will be there to buy this coin. We all have seen coins far worse in much higher holders!
Outrageous Roman Finish Matte Proof surfaces are perfectly clean and are totally original. On the reverse there is a small "smooth" area-typical to the date. There are NO spots or stains. The color is a rich ORIGINAL two tone orange/yellow gold that is enlivened by a strong luster. Every detail is razor sharp and appears boldly. The eye appeal is stunning!
Only 250 pieces were minted. PCGS 6, NGC 3, CAC 1. PCGS has ONLY graded a total of 3 coins higher. The last PCGS PR65 to appear in a major auction sold for $48,875.00 02/2006 Heritage. The great rarity of these can not be over stated. Also, PCGS is world famous for grading ALL Matte PR Gold tighter than any other series.
To find a $5 Roman Finish so pristine, colorful, high end, and CAC'd will take years-if another exists!

A VERY lovely GEM!
Overall, the coin is satiny, smooth, clean, and of course lustrous. There are no real hints of toning and the coin is a creamy white (not a dipped out yuck). Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and appear boldly. The eye appeal is really pretty.
PCGS 22, NGC 47, CAC 9. PCGS has only graded 2 coins in MS67.

H.10 1867S PCGS MS65
A BORDERLINE MS66!
Sold on
04/2010
We easily rank this GEM in the top 5% for the grade!
Far superior to the typical flat and dull S Mint, this piece is a alive and sharp. Both sides are exceptionally clean and smooth. A decent luster shows off soft colors of lavender/golden brown. Miss Liberty and the details are crisp and fully struck. Even using a strong glass to review this coin with, you will NOT be disappointed! The eye appeal is beautiful!
PCGS 3, NGC 3, CAC 1. PCGS has graded ONLY 2 pieces higher. One is impounded in the Law/Simpson Collection we built-the all time FINEST KNOWN. The fact that after 20+ years of grading, there are only 2 coins higher and just 3 in GEM, proves how not so nice this coin comes. Even in MS64 PCGS has only graded 12 pieces.
There is NO record of ANY PCGS piece selling at a major auction in the past 10+ years. In 2005 an NGC coin sold for $3,450.00.Opportunity just can't knock any louder!

SENSATIONAL!
Sold on
04/2010
You know for us to call a coin sensational, it has to be all there and then some. Well this SUPER HIGH END GEM is!
Smooth and virtually perfect surfaces are a glow with luster. Both sides are coated with a beautiful moderate mix of pale blue/green colors. There are two tiny toning dots on the left obverse visible with a glass. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal and quality are both SENSATIONAL !
PCGS 19, NGC 11, CAC 5. Half Dimes are so overlooked. They have fallen to prices that are ridiculous. Remember, these are obsolete coins, they don't have thousands surviving, and like this coin, they have some age 166 years old).
