$1 1881S PCGS MS66 EX SIMPSON COLLECTION
  SWEET SURRENDER!
Sold on 06/2010
Ex Simpson Collection-one of the greatest ever formed! We named this duplicate Sweet Surrender because it just looks so sweet!

The technical quality of this coin is SUPER HIGH END. Both sides are not only intensely lusterous, but are nearly fully prooflike. Save for a teenie tick on the eagle, there are hardly any visible in the fields or cheek. The color scheme is violet/gold/sky blue/champagne. Miss Liberty and the details are perfectly struck and do stand out. Her cheek is amazingly perfect. The eye appeal is SWEET!

THIS COIN IS POSTED AT OUR BEST PRICE!

  SPICES
Sold on 06/2010
Ex Simpson Collection-one of the greatest ever assembled. "Spices" as we call it is a heck of color mix coin.

As with all the Simpson colored dollars, this coin is all there and then some technically. The surfaces are super clean and emit a full booming luster. The color scheme is a spicey mix of violet/navy/blue/gold/green colors all thrown about the obverse. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is crazy!

$1 1879S PCGS MS65 EX SIMPSON COLLECTION
  NEAT CRESCENT COLOR!
Sold on 06/2010
Ex Simpson Collection-one of the greatest ever assembled.

This is a super colored GEM! About 3/4 of the obverse has a remarkable crescent of violet/amber/gold blue colors. The surfaces are clean and have a tremendous luster as wel as being semi-prooflike. Only one small tick on the cheek keeps this coin being an MS66+. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and fully struck. The eye appeal is gorgeous!

H.10C 1834 PCGS MS66
ONE OF THE WILDEST COLORED BUST HALF DIMES!
Sold on 06/2010
Absolutely unbelievable! The ONLY coin finer (color wise) that we EVER have seen is the 1832 PCGS MS68+ we have in the Simpson/Law Half Dime set. A master artist couldn't come close to the spectacular colors mother nature put on this coin. And its is SUPER HIGH END too!

The technical quality is all there. Even using a strong glass you see no flaws. The surfaces are smooth and have a satiny appearance. The luster is above average. Both sides display electric rings of royal blue/violet/gold/green that just blow your mind! Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. Unless the coin is like the 1832 MS68, there is no way you will EVER see a more powerful, mind boggling, and just amazing Bust Half Dime (we are talking about the series, not just the date).

PCGS 19, NGC 35, CAC 3.

The buyer of this coin will forever have not just one of the wildest Bust Half Dimes in existence, but one of the wildest regular US coins. If this were in auction, who knows how much it would bring. In fact we would advise our customer to pay whatever it takes to buy this amazing GEM!

It is fresh back on to the market. it had been with a Legend customer for many years.

We have offered this MONSTER at our BEST price!

$2.5 1915 PCGS MS64 EX SIMPSON
  PRETTY!
Sold on 06/2010
Mr Simpson loves his gold coins. So he has many high end duplicates.

This piece has no major marks and the surfaces appear clean to the naked eye. The color is a deeper orange gold. There are NO spots. All of the details are sharply struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is really great!

(We do not have any + pops) PCGS 686, NGC 1142, CAC 41. The next step up would cost at least $5,500.00.00

  VERY HIGH END!
Sold on 06/2010
A duplicate from one of the greatest collections ever formed! For Mr. Simspon, ALL coins had to be of serious top quality and have terrific eye appeal.

This coin is kept from an MS65 only by a few light ticks on the reverse. The obverse is true borderline MS65. Both sides have a strong luster. The color is a modest two tone pinkish/orange gold. There are NO spots. All of the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 1717, NGC 2294, CAC 43.

1C 1857 PCGS PR66BN SMALL DATE
  DELICIOUS COLORS!
Sold on 06/2010
EX Martin Logies/Cardinal Collection (not noted on the holder). One look and you will see why Martin chose this absolute stunner for his collection.

We rarely see mirrors so powerfully reflective on ANY PR Large Cent. They are also deep, crystal clear, and outrageously clean. A wild mix of ORIGINAL electric chocolate/blue/violet colors blast from the mirrors. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike. They actually have enough thick frost to make the coin look slightly cameoed. The eye appeal is spectacular!

Only 238 pieces were minted. PCGS 3, NGC 8, CAC 1. Even in PR66RB there is only one coin graded each by PCGS/NGC. These do NOT appear with any frequency so pricing can be a little tricky. The last one to sell at a major public auction brought $10,350.00 11/2008 Stacks. Opportunity knocks loud for the serious Large Cent Collector or someone looking for something completely different!

  PHENOMENAL !
Sold on 06/2010
This is a gorgeous toned ORIGINAL GEM!

The quality is near miss MS65. There are NO visible imperfections. We do consider this coin a full GEM. Both sides are clean overall and have just a few small lines or nicks (NONE are visible to the naked eye). An even mix of pale navy/olive/lime/gold/russet colors swirls over the surfaces. A strong luster highlights the colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have crisp full strikes. The eye appeal is exceptional!

PCGS 16, NGC 21, CAC 2. PCGS has graded only 5 coins higher possibly (2, 65, 3 ,66). Keep in mind, the next step up costs OVER $23,000.00-if you ever can find one of the two coins!

$1 1886 PCGS PR64 CAMEO
  A SPARKLING GEM!
Sold on 06/2010
Solid for the grade and quite flashy!

Deep and clear "watery" mirrors cover both sides. Only under a strong glass can you see some light lines. A mist of moderate golden brown covers mostly the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike. The details all have silvery frost. The eye appeal is exceptional!

Only 886 pieces were minted. PCGS 7, NGC 4, CAC 2. We could find NO auction records for any selling in the past 10 years! Not as common a coin to find as you would think.

2C 1873 PCGS PR64RB OPEN 3
  COMPLETELY ORIGINAL!
Sold on 06/2010
We have not handled one of these in ages! Bought this coin raw and we were hoping for a 65RB. Guess PCGS feels not!

Both sides are fully ORIGINAL Mint Rd with tinges of brown and tan. There are NO spots. The mirrors are typical for the date. Every detail is needle sharp in strike. Hard to pinpoint exactly what keeps this coin from a PR65RB. It does have really nice eye appeal.

Only 500 pieces were minted for this Proof ONLY date. PCGS 55, NGC 18, CAC 3.
