$1 1923 PCGS MS67 EX SIMPSON COLLECTION
BLASTY SNOWY WHITE!
Sold on
06/2010
Ex Simpson Collection-one of the greatest collections ever formed! This coin is a eye popping moose!
Far superior to the typical dullish, pale greenish gold pieces you see in MS67 holder that bring low prices when sold. This coin has intense luster which creates a mind boggling blast. The surfaces are extremely clean and satiny. There is not an ounce of toning to be found and this coin is bold frosty snow white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is a total WOW!
PCGS 48, NGC 50, CAC 5. We have not handled a GEM MS67 in nearly a year!
WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

10C 1909O PCGS MS66
WILD BULLS EYE LIKE TONING!
Sold on
06/2010
One of the most heart pounding, jaw dropping, killer colored MS Barber Dimes you will EVER see!
This coin will make your eye balls pop out! The obverse has a monster bulls eye like effect of electric royal blue/violet/purple/golden brown colors. The reverse is pretty much the same but in a different pattern. BOTH sides are extremely clean and have an ultra intense luster. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal ranks in the MONSTER category!
PCGS 12, NGC 3, CAC 2.
This coin is all the more amazing because it is an 09O, not a commoner date. These later O Mints can come dull and without color. If you love wild color, you WILL be thrilled by this GEM. This is definitely Opportunity Knocking!

$20 1910D PCGS MS67
A REAL MS67!
Sold on
06/2010
This piece is tied with only one other for FINEST 1910D. Typically, these come ok and slightly ticky. This coin is far superior. It loos like a 1924!
Both sides display and satiny texture and remarkable cleanliness. A full booming luster shows off a light two tone deep gold/pale orange gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have exceptional full strikes. The eye appeal is amazing!
PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 1. None have appeared at auction since 2005 (when one sold for $46,000.00). Time has more than proven this coins rarity in SUPERB GEM! If you collect better higher grade Saints, then this is a coin you need to give special attention too!

SENSATIONAL!
Sold on
06/2010
Having built the worlds FINEST MS Trade Dollar Collection has taught us everything to know about the quality of the series. To find nice and not dull anything above MS63 can be frustrating. This is one coin we bought the second we saw it!
HIGH END. The surface are smooth and have above average cleanliness. You need a strong glass to find any teenie ticks. The luster is also strong. A light hint of champagne color mixes with creamy white color and evenly covers both sides. It does NOT dull the coin at all. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is superb!
PCGS 25, NGC 18, CAC 3. The only coin graded higher by PCGS is our MS66 that is in the Legend Collection.

J-233 1859 TRANSITIONAL DIME PCGS PR66 ELIASBERG
TIED FOR FINEST KNOWN!
Sold on
06/2010
This is an R-6 (21-30 minted). The quality and pedigree of this coin are unbeatable! This coin is from the famous Eliasberg Collection-the only collection ever to be assembled that could be considered complete.
In our opinion, this coin is SUPER HIGH END and is PERFECT! Even using a microscope, you will find NO problems what so ever-anywhere. The mirrors are decent. Both sides are covered by an original moderate mix of blue/golden brown/champagne colors. Miss Liberty and every detail are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is fantastic!
Housed in its original old green tag holder. PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2. The Judd Book values these at $26,000.00 in PR65. The last time this coin was auctioned, it brought $33,925.00 03/09 Goldberg. Prior to that, it sold for $41,400.00 B+M 04/2005. We think these are far rarer than the mintage indicates. They hardly ever appear in ANY grade at shows of in auctions.
This is called Transitional because it does not list the country of origin. A must have for any advanced Pattern set or even a PR Dime set!

1C 1913 PCGS PR65RD
A STONE ORIGINAL GEM!
Sold on
06/2010
NO question this coin is a rock solid PR65RD and NO question this coin is unmessed with.
Gorgeous smooth and totally original Matte PR surfaces glow with original Mint RED color and a super strong luster. A few teenie toning specks are hidden on the reverse. Lincoln and every detail is a s needle sharp as would expect. The eye appeal is outstanding!
PCGS 40, NGC 26, CAC 3. This coin was not purchased from any auction.
There has been much chat about copper lately. A piece like this , so long as its not stored in an ocean, smoke filled room, or in the middle of the dessert will stay stable.

VERY HIGH END!
Sold on
06/2010
If this coin were in an MS63 holder, we would not flinch. It is a very special coin that IS that high end.
The originality of this piece is incredible. Both sides are prooflike. The surfaces appear clean overall-however using a strong glass you can detect a teenie tick or two. We have seen MS63's with more abrasions! The color is a deeper orange gold. There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are incredibly struck. The eye appeal is terrific and then some!
The great rarity of this coin can NOT be over hyped. 6900 pieces were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 3, CAC 1. PCGS has only ONE higher while NGC may have 4 coins. This is one coin you never ever see in true MS!

No matter how picky you are, this coin will more then impress you. Both sides offer splendid deep, clear, clean, and slightly reflective mirrors. There are NO spots or stains. The color is a rich chocolate with hints of violet/red/blue. Miss Liberty and the details are incredibly struck and stand out. The eye appeal of this GEM is pretty neat.
Only 100 were ever minted. PCGS 5, NGC 3, CAC 3.

HIGH END+INCREDIBLY COLORED!
Sold on
06/2010
WOW, WOW,WOW! This is one of our all time favorite 1912S pieces. We have only seen one other coin that is similar. This has AWESOME killer toning and is of VERY high end quality!
A surprisingly strong luster shimmers and glows from both sides. You can clearly seen clean and smooth surfaces. Only under magnification can you see some stray teenie hairlines. The colors are a circular reddish gold with neon like lilac/blue centers. You do not have to tilt the coin to see them. Miss Liberty and the details are virtually fully struck. You do not need a glass to see the corn on the reverse. The eye appeal is incredible!
PCGS 95, NGC 87, CAC 7. PCGS has graded 8 higher and those go for $25,000.00 and up (we have only seen 2 in the past decade). This is not a coin for a price buyer. This is a coin for someone who LOVES color!
This coin is posted at our BEST price!

$20 1913 PCGS MS64+ EX SIMPSON COLLECTION
A TRUE HANDPICKED MS64+!!!
Sold on
06/2010
Ex Simpson Collection-one of the greatest collections ever formed. Until we purchased the MS65 at the Ft. Worth ANA Auction, this was the actual coin in Mr. Simpson's #1 ranked MS Saint set. The only reason why he is selling it is to make room for more coins!
The quality is what you'd expect-true high end. Mr Simpson is particular about quality and eye appeal. Only a few minor teenie ticks are scattered about and can be detected with a glass. An intense luster also shows of beautiful orangy/gold colored surfaces. There are NO spots or discolorations. And CAC verifies this coin has NOT been messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are really exceptionally struck (no flatness visible). The eye appeal is terrific!
We do not have + pops, so we will quote regular pops: PCGS 315, NGC 185, CAC 10. We paid $69,000.00 for the coin that replaced this. Duplicate coins this nice are something Legend loves to buy back (which we did here). Nice coins never go out out style!
