NEAT COLORS!
Sold on
09/2010
Only 590 pieces were ever minted. This coin has an obverse that explodes with color!
Deep, crystal clear, clean, and powerfully reflective mirrors cover both sides. The reverse actually has deeper and heavier toning so you do not get as much reflectivity as the obverse. Mind boggling iridescent colors of pale violet/neon blue/aqua green/gold blaze from the obverse. The reverse has deeper purple/blue/brown/gold. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and have nice frost. The overall eye appeal is beautiful!
PCGS 2, NGC 8, CAC 3. The last NGC coin to sell in major auction brought $5,031.00 01/10 Heritage. This coin had been away with a collector for a few years. It is fresh to the market.

J- 310 2C 1863 PCGS PR 64 DENALI COLLECTION
VERY CHOICE!
Sold on
09/2010
This is a R-7 (7-12 minted). Too bad the design was never adopted, it was a really good image of George Washington.
Very light and teenie toning spots adorn both sides. Otherwise, all you can detect with a super strong glass is a few scattered lines (which may even be from heavy die polishing). The mirrors are surprisingly strong and are NOT hazy. Both sides are a pleasing pale red/tan color. Every detail is needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 3, NGC 0, CAC 2. PCGS has graded only one coin higher. The last auction sale of one was 2006 Heritage where the coin sold for $8,050.00. An NGC coin just sold for $8,625.00 1/09 Heritage. Opportunity knocks loud here!

ULTRA HIGH END AND AMAZING!
Sold on
09/2010
How amazing and high end is this coin? In 2008 we PAID $15,000.00 for it in an older PCGS holder thinking it was lock MS67. Oops!
No question this coin is super high end. We have NOT sent it in for a + designation (but then we still have no clue as to how they grade those coins).
Incredible satiny smooth surfaces are creamy white and have a strong luster. They are ULTRA clean as well. An awesome ring of royal blue/pale golden brown colors cover parts of the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have thick snowy white frost. Your eye balls will fully pop out in amazement when they see this wild GEM! There is NO such thing as a better MS66.
PCGS 15, NGC 12, CAC 3.
NOTE: If you are a price buyer, this coin is not for you!

TOTALLY ORIGINAL!
Sold on
09/2010
Yes, we do call this a GEM XF! It is totally original.
Both sides have some light tiny and old ticks and lines. There are NO major problems that stand out. The colors are a light copper by the rims and deep yellow gold in the centers. Surprisingly a decent luster is still visible. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is VERY nice!
PCGS 7, NGC 14, CAC 1. Note: these are so rare the published bids are WRONG. The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $1,375.00 in 1994 B+M!!!! These just do NOT trade any where. The last NGC to sell was back in 2004 DL and that brought $1,035.00. If you collect $10 Liberties by date, we are pleased to offer you a very RARE opportunity.

3CS 1864 PCGS PR64+ CAMEO
A hidden lint mark on the obverse is what keeps this coin from PR65 cameo. It is really flashy.
Both sides have superior deep, crystal clear, clean (you need a glass to see the lint mark), and boldly reflective mirrors. There is some very minor planchet roughness that is also visible ONLY with a strong glass. The color is white. Every details is sharply struck and have thick frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!
ONLY 470 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 9, NGC 10, CAC 4 (all regular Cameo). The last REGULAR Cameo sold in a major auction (it was NOT this coin) brought $1,265.00 08/09 Heritage. In PR65 Cameo they trade for $3,500.00 or so. This is just about there !
