  FLASHY!

We wish all PR63 Trade Dollars could look this good!

Deep and super reflective mirrors do reveal a few light lines-but nothing serious. There are NO marks or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick creamy white frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!

Only 700 pieces were ever minted! PCGS 16, NGC 24, CAC 6. The last one of these to sell in major public auction brought $3,738.00 11/2010 Stacks.

1C 1838 PCGS MS64+RB
  ABOUT 65% ORIGINAL MINT RED!
Sold on 06/2011
Had the stars been a little more struck up, this coin would be a full MS65RB and worth a ton!

To start, this is a totally ORIGINAL GEM. The surfaces are unmolested and do off at least 65% full ORIGINAL Mint red color. There are NO stains or spots. Both sides are also completely mark free. A surprising luster also enhances the colors. Miss Liberty is well struck. Just the stars show some flatness. The overall eye appeal is amazing!

PCGS 29, NGC 12, CAC 4 (All MS64's). There are only 3 MS64+RB (this coin might be 2 of them)!

The ONLY MS67 we have out of ROUNDII! This coin is super clean and is a real MS67. Both sides have a full booming chartwheel luster. There is a hint of light golden toning scattered about. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have light frost. Her cheek is immaculate. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 650, NGC 1627, CAC 87. Its surpising how few of these there are in MS67..

$5 1797 SE PCGS AU55 16 STARS
  AN INCREDBLE GEM AU!
Sold on 06/2011
WOW! What a stunning example of a classic Early $5 rarity!

An imperfect planchet that has some light roughness and pitting prove the only real negatives (and they are really not bad). There are two old imprints or minor cuts in the face-but we think they are from the planchet (they seem min caused). Overall, the surfaces are boldly prooflike and do appear clean. The color is a deeper yellow gold. This is an unmolested coin. Miss Liberty and the details are really surprisingly pinpoint sharp in strike. You can even see some breast feathers. The eye appeal is spectacular!

PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 1. This is the ONLY CAC'd 1797 $5!!! PCGS has graded 3 coins higher. We're not sure, but this may have been the NGC AU58. The last time a PCGS one of these sold-get this , was in 1999! The coin brought $115,000.00 (B+M) then!

Legend Numismatics is proud to present this extreme rarity for purchase. It is indeed a once in a life time acquisition for anyone who buys early $5 pieces.

J- 410 3CN 1865 PCGS PR65
  CHEAPER THAN A REGULAR PR65!
Sold on 06/2011
This coin is an R-6 (13-20 Minted). It is virtually identical to a regular issue. The quality is VERY HIGH END!

Even using a strong glass, this coin has only one teenie HIDDEN planchet flake and NO problems anywhere. The mirrors are actually strong and have excellent clarity and reflectivity. There is a slight hint of gold/lilac color on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have strong strikes. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 4, NGC 0, CAC 1 (CAC has beaned only ONE coin higher). The last one of these to sell in major auction was a NON CAC coin. It brought $3,680.00 B+M 2011 (not this coin). Keep in mind, a regular issue (that has 500 pieces minted) will WHOLESALE for at least $4,500.00-if you can even find one! We KNOW these are NOT anywhere near being overvalued!

Sold on 06/2011
Typical to the coins in the Naftzger Collection, this 1843 is ULTRA HIGH END and certainly looks far better than just an MS65!

Absolutely perfect surfaces have NO flaws of any kind any where. The planchet was of high quality and the surfaces are smooth. A surprising luster shows off phenomenal and totally ORIGINAL mint red/brown colors. We cal this coin 40% red. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and do stand out. Your eyes will pop out when they see this GEM!

  SUPERB PLUS!
Sold on 06/2011
Even though PCGS does not call it a +, we do! This is a beautiful and high end GEM!

Deep, crystal clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors adorn both sides. Using a strong glass all you can see is a thin stray line or two-if you look really hard. The color scheme is a very pretty moderate mix of pale olive/gold/purple/blue colors. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is great!

Only 755 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 20, NGC 36, CAC 5. We cannot stress enough how much we feel this is a great series to collect right now in PR64-PR67.

50C 1938 NGC PR66 CAMEO
  AMAZING!
Sold on 06/2011
Phenomenal black and white appearance!

Supreme ULTRA deep and crystal clear mirrors roll like liquid mercury. The reflectivity is intense. There are NO problems to be found. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. They are heavily frosted a silvery white. We agree this coin is a full Cameo! The eye appeal is pop your eye balls out!

PCGS 1, NGC 3, CAC 1. This is the ONLY coin CAC has stickered for the date in cameo (and you know they won't sticker a marginal coin)! The last PCGS Cameo brought $9,200.00 At the Fun show. The last NGC piece brought $4,083.00 in 2007-4 long years ago! If you seek a Cameoed Walker, this is a great opportunity!
