$1 1882S NGC MS65*
A DRAMATIC RAINBOW COLROED MORGAN!
Sold on
07/2010
After purchasing the MONSTER Sonnier Collection of colored Dollars, its really hard for us to get excited about the typical coins we see at shows. However this beauty walked up to us via a collector well known for his keen eye with colored Morgans. So we had to buy it!
Technically, the coin is solid for the grade. There are NO major hits-just a few tiny scattered ticks. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The luster in mind boggling. Now about the colors: they are killers! This coin is very close to what Sonnier had. The obverse has a partial crescent of neon green/violet on the left. The remainder of the obverse is bathed in gorgeous pale gold and electric pale blue colors. The reverse has reddish gold by the rims only. Mother nature did some of her best work here. The eye appeal is awesome!

5C 1900 PCGS MS65
PRETTY AND ORIGINAL!
Sold on
07/2010
This coin oozes with originality! Its so critical these days to find nice original coins. In the case of Nickels, so many have been retoned or messed with it makes the survivors that much more rare then the posted values.
This coin has NOT been messed with. Only a few trivial teenie ticks can be found if you use a strong glass. It has a satiny texture that is enhanced by a full booming luster. A moderate mix of silver/pewter colors can be seen. Miss Liberty and all the details (including the corn on the reverse) are sharply struck. The eye appeal is very nice.
PCGS 137, NGC 155, CAC 8. According to our records, the last PCGS coin to appear in auction was back in 2006! That coin sold for $575.00 08/2006 B+M.

$1 1883CC PCGS MS67 SIMPSON/SUNNYWOOD
BEAUTIFUL!
Sold on
07/2010
SIMPSON/SUNNYWOOD (only Simpson pedigreed on the holder).
We have sen several 83CC's with color. They are typical bullish and crusty mottled. This coin is a definite exception. in fact, we grade the colors MS66.4. A beautiful bland of autumn gold/reddish gold/pale green/pale blue/pale violet cover the entire obverse. The reverse has some splashes of light gold.
The technical quality is all there and then some. Super smooth and remarkably clean surfaces just glow with a full booming luster-which also brings out the colors. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal is super beautiful!
PCGS 128, NGC 115, CAC 14. Here is your chance to add a coin with the ultimate pedigree in colored Morgans to your collection. One look and you will clearly agree why this was originally included in the Sunnywood set.

$1 1878 7TF REV 79 PCGS MS65 SUNNYWOOD/SIMPSON
CHAMPAGNE/BLUE OBVERSE COLORS!
Sold on
07/2010
SUNNYWOOD/SIMPSON COLLECTION. Pretty obverse colors. The quality is VERY high end. This is housed in a new PCGS Secure Plus holder-and does NOT have a +. We do not understand what they see (or don't see).
Even using a strong glass we can not find a single imperfection on either side. The obverse is completely covered by a moderate mix of neon like blue/champagne colors. A full booming luster enlivens the colors. We grade the colors MS65.5. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The reverse is untoned and looks awesome. The eye appeal is wonderful!
A tough date without color. PCGS 296, NGC 123, CAC 11. Next step up costs OVER $11,000.00 if you can find one.

$1 1903S PCGS MS66 SUNNYWOOD/SIMPSON COLLECTION
A BORDERLINE MS67!
Sold on
07/2010
SUNNYWOOD/SIMPSON COLLECTION. This ia well known coin that resided in the Sunnywood Collection from 2006 until he out bid us on the MS67 at the 2009 Fun Show auction. Its remained with the set until now.
The big story about this coin isn't the color-its the ULTRA HIGH END quality. Even back in 1979 this exact coin sold in a PRE Long Beach Sale for $21,225.00-the same amount Sunnywood paid in 2006!
You can use the most powerful glass and go over and over the surfaces and find the most teenie and trivial ticks and nothing else. To the naked eye, the surfaces appear smooth and clean. A strong luster shows off the pretty and moderate golden brown/lilac colors that evenly cover both sides. We grade them MS65. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and boldly stand out. The eye appeal is terrific!
PCGS 128, NGC 42, CAC 3. Since 2006, auction prices have ranged from $12,950.00 for a weak one up to $26,450.00 for one that must be equal to this.

H.01 1794 PCGS MS63 EX ELIASBERG
TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!
Sold on
07/2010
This is so cool: take a fresh bar of glistening chocolate, get some wire sculpting tools, and then find the best sculptor, and you have what it took to make this incredible coin (well sort of)! This is the C-9 High Relief variety.
A nearly perfect planchet reveals only one teenie hidden tick (on the neck) a pinpoint imperfection in the right field (which is because of the planchet quality). There is no pitting. Both sides have a slight ORIGINAL gloss. The color is a gorgeous chocolate. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and very boldly stand out. The eye appeal is incredible! Remember, this is a coin from 1794-not 1904.
PCGS 6, NGC 2, CAC 2. PCGS has possibly certified ONLY 2 coins higher. We do not remember EVER seeing any of them on the market.
We think this coin is tremendously UNDERVALUED. Its unquestionably rare, its in spectacular condition, and its from 1794! The last one of these to sell brought $86,250.00 1/09 Heritage. We KNOW this coin is a touch nicer as we were the under bidders on that coin regardless, we think BOTH coins should be worth at least $100,000.00 today. Even an MS62BN SOLD for $60,375.00 back in 2007.
We can not stress enough the spectacular opportunity this coin offers collectors of Half Cents or Type (especially). The chances of finding another are slim (prior to the 2009 auction of the other coin, NO PCGS MS63's have been auctioned this decade). So think hard about this beauty. Have dupes or junk? Trade them in, we'll work with you. Once this coin is sold, good luck finding remotely anything similar.

WHAT A MS66 SHOULD LOOK LIKE!
Sold on
07/2010
The world clearly wants nice Saints and to get them these days, they must have a CAC sticker. Since we only have one in stock, we figured we'd list it. We do very much need quantities of PCGS MS66 CAC Saints.
This coin is a solid MS66 every day of the year! Both sides are clean. There are some very tiny copper spots on the left obverse-they do not stand out and only add proof to the coins originality. A strong luster also shows off frosty and well struck details. The eye appeal is beautiful!
PCGS 1440, NGC 830, CAC 109. The one that was just in the Heritage FUN Sale SOLD for $4,025.00. Opportunity knocks loud here!
WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!
