J-1356 20C 1874 PCGS PR CAMEO EX ANA/BASS
  AWESOME!
Sold on 10/2014
This is an R-7 (4-12 Minted) struck in aluminum. Its better known as the "seashore" design. Too bad this was never adopted, it certainly is a magnificent design! The reverse is the same as what is on a normal 20C piece.

One look and you know this is a very special pattern. It is as GEM ORIGINAL as you will ever see for an aluminum patter. The mirrors are deep, clean, and have powerful reflectivity. There is a slight natural frost in the fields-as struck. There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and boldly stand out. The eye appeal is memorable!

PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. PCGS has graded one coin higher. Keep in mind, this was the Harry Bass specimen that has resided in the ANA Museum for the past decade! We can't stress enough how historical of a coin this piece is. We strongly believe this coin should worth at least $25,000.00. There is so much room to grow in this market! 5C 1898 PCGS PR67 CAMEO
A BOOMING BLACK AND WHITE BEAUTY!
Sold on 10/2014
With this magnifcent GEM, you get exactly what the grade and designation say: a PR67 Cameo!

Superior deep, crystal clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors beam from all over. The look like a freshly made and highly polished sheet of glass. We assure you-you will twirl this coin all day. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have thick silvery white frost. This is nto a dipped out coin-it has life! The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 5, NGC 4, CAC 3. PCGS has graded 2 in PR67+ CA. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $5,006.00 06/2014 Heritage. We can tell you, this is one very scarce date in PR66CA and higher.

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

$1 1891CC PCGS MS65PL
  BOLDLY MIRRORED AND LOADED W/CONTRAST!
Sold on 10/2014
Most collectors do not realize how genuinely rare the 91CC is in full DMPL. In REAL PL its extremely tough. This coin is a wonderful and HIGH END piece!

Full4"+ mirrors adorn the surfaces. There are are a few teenie ticks and giggles-but nothing is huge or detracts from this coins HIGH END status. The flash from the mirrors and the clarity are boldly impressive. A light mix of ORIGINAL golden brown/pale auburn colors frame parts of the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick frost. The eye appeal is completely fantastic!

PCGS 15, NGC 4, CAC 2. There are two coins graded higher by PCGS-one is the out of this world 1891CC PCGS MS68PL (a possible proof) in the new #1 Coronet Collection! NO PCGS/CAC piece has ever sold at any major auction. Opportunity knocks loud here if you are into PL or DMPL Morgans!

50C 1919D PCGS MS64+
  A BORDERLINE MS65!
Sold on 10/2014
This beautiful 19D was love at first glance! After owning an MS65 and selling the 66 we know what one of these should look like. This coin is SUPER HIGH END and really does border MS65! It WILL fit in to ANY GEM set.

Only a small line and a scattered tick/frost break or two (a tick and a giggle as we like to say) are what keeps this beauty from being a $200,000.00 MS65. The coin does appear clean overall to the naked eye. Unusual for a 19D, this coin has a full booming satiny luster. Even the dreaded right field looks fantastic. Both sides are a bold snowy white. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. You do NOT need a glass to see the skirt lines or the remarkably fullness of the thumb. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 71 NGC 83, CAC 8. PCGS has graded only 3 MS64. The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $54,875.00 08/2013 Stacks. An inferior piece brought $38,188.00 04/2014 Heritage. There are 10 MS65's by PCGS-but those cost $200,000.00-if you can ever find one. This coin is so close to MS65 too. Be glad we are offering this coin here and not in an auction! Opportunity knocks loud for anyone building a GEM Walker Collection.

10C 1891 PCGS MS67
  A SUPERB GEM!
Sold on 10/2014
This is a terrific coin you rarely see. SUPERB GEM MS Seated coins are tremendously UNDER valued!

An impressive luster greets you from across the room. The surfaces are satiny and are clean overall. There are faint semi-prooflike mirrors visible. A marvelous and totally ORIGINAL mix of pale green/gold/blue colors all swirl evenly all over. At the date, there is a toning spot. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 8, NGC 19, CAC 4. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $3,450.00 04/2011 Heritage! That was then, this is now!

$1 1861 PCGS MS64 EX LEGEND
  OUTSTANDING!
Sold on 10/2014
It is not hard to believe that at one time this piece was part of the Legend Collection of MS Seated Dollars (the #1 all time finest ever). After close examination, you'll see why!

Surprisingly lustrous surfaces are amazingly clean and satiny. Even using a strong glass you will only see minor frost breaks and really light hits that do NOT show to the naked eye. A fiery blush of totally original reddish gold frames the peripheries all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 21, NGC 16, CAC 3. PCGS has only graded 5 coins higher. No PCGS CAC pieces have yet to sell at auction. In fact the last PCGS 1861 to sell was back in 2010. Do NOT let the pop reports fool you, its nearly impossible to find a really nice 1861 MS $1! Add to that the pedigree of this coin (you don't think we are going to pick an average coin for our set do you?), this coin has some great characteristics.

  SUPERB!
Sold on 10/2014
The quality is VERY high end! We studied this coin long and hard and found zero imperfections. PCGS showed it NO mercy!

Incredibly clean and light satiny surfaces have not even the teeniest tick or problem visible (save for a pinpoint die flake). No question this coin is original and has not been dipped and retoned. A strong luster shows off totally original golden brown/pale blue colors. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 72, NGC 76, CAC 17. The last one to sell in auction brought $1,528.00 08/2014 Heritage. Our coin is completely FRESH to the market. We assure you, it is good or BETTER then any coin sold in an MS65 recently!

$10 1909 PCGS PR65
  GODZILLA!
Sold on 10/2014
WOW! This coin was love at first sight. We did resubmit it seeking a PR65+. PCGS was not in a good mood that day. This really is a VERY high end and special coin!

The quality of this GEM is amazing. Full Roman Finish surfaces are satiny smooth. There are NO visible imperfections. A full booming luster shows off the killer ORIGINAL bright yellow gold color. Every detail is pinpoint sharp in strike and boldly stands out. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!

ONLY 74 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 8, NGC 13, CAC 4 (we are pretty sure this coin is 2 beans). Here is solid proof of its supreme rarity: the last PCGS piece to sell in auction-was in 1994! NO PR66's have ever sold at auction. Forget about the pops, ANY GEM PR 1909 $10 is exceedingly rare. We can not stress enough the grand opportunity this coin offers. Suggestion: trade in or sell your dupes, this coin will yield you more down the road!

J -473 5C 1866 PCGS PR66 CAMEO EX ANA/BASS
  SPECTACULAR!
Sold on 09/2014
This coin is an R-6 (13-31 minted) struck in Nickel. It is a genuine Pattern of a design that could have been. One look and you will why the legendary Harry Bass picked this coin for his collection. We certainly have never seen one looking like this!

The contrast is insane! Electrified mirrors are deep, have dynamic crystal clear clarity, are clean (save a for a few mint made issues), and have electric reflectivity. We love to twirl this coin-and have trouble putting it down. The mirrors have more of a glass like look. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and his gorgeous thick white frost. The eye appeal is unlike any we have ever seen for this type of coin!

PCGS 2, NCG 0, CAC 1. If we weren't being forced too, this is a coin we'd keep-really! It is that spectacular. This coin will certainly be a super star in ANY collection!

10C 1892-1916 PCGS MS66-68+ SIMPSON SET
THE ALL TIME #1 MS BARBER DIME SET
Sold on 09/2014
Legend Numismatics is honored to offer our friends and all collectors this amazing collection: Yes, this is the Ex Law, now Simpson MS Barber Dime Collection (#1 on the PCGS registry). Due to changing taste and believe it or not, lack of space, Mr Simpson has asked us to find this special collection a new home. This set could not be duplicated today.

Legend has exclusively built this set over a period of 20 years (we would hope the new owner would allow us to continue to be its exclusive supplier)! The very first coin we purchased for it (when it was the Law Collection) was a 1902S PCGS MS66-that is now in Legends "memories" collection. The 02S was replaced by a killer MS67. All through this sets life, we have been constantly searching for the very finest MS Barber Dimes. We have rejected pieces if we thought they were just plastic grades. EVERY coin in the Law/Simpson Dime set not only is all there and then some, but has spectacular eye appeal. Saying "WOW" is light when starting to describe the quality. Listed below are just a few random highlights (really EVERY coin in this set is a highlight):

1892O PCGS MS66+

1893 PCGS MS67+

1896O PCGS MS66+

1902O PCGS MS66+

1903S PCGS MS67

1906D PCGS MS67

1910 PCGS MS68+

1911 PCGS MS68+

1914S PCGS MS67+

ALL the coins listed above are POP 1 with NONE higher. Of course there are MANY more Pop 1's that are the finest graded. Again, EVERY coin WILL blow you away with their superior quality and eye appeal.

You may visit the complete collection on the PCGS Registry at: http://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/alltimeset.aspx?s=71629.

Do note, the majority of coins have NOT traded in many years. While researching pricing, for the most part there are NO reliable up to date sources. So you really have to estimate what a pop 1 coin purchased in 2005 would sell for today. We are offering the set at $1,350,000.00. For $3,250,000.00 (total) we would make it a wicked cool set and add the 1894S PCGS PR64 Cameo CAC. With or without the 1894S, this collection offers one heck of a once in a lifetime opportunity. Over the long term, there have been no smarter purchases in numismatics then the VERY finest with awesome eye appeal-this collection for sure has all that and then some!

Please feel free to email or call to discuss this remarkable set. We will have it on display at the ANA Show.
