Item - 9949
$2.5 1925D PCGS MS64
  NICE QUALITY!
Sold on 04/2014
How low can these go? We have not handled these in this price range in years! What a great time to build an MS64 set or just buy a quantity to put away.

This coin is very nice. The surfaces are not hacked up. There are a few teenie ticks and giggles-nothing deep or serious. Both sides have a good luster that shows off totally ORIGINAL gold colors. There are NO spots. All of the details are frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is really nice!

PCGS 2218, NGC 3635, CAC 292. Do not need to compare any prices-we have NEVER seen any PCGS CAC piece offered or sell in auction for under $1,000.00!

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

$2.5 1926 PCGS MS64
  LUSTROUS!
Sold on 04/2014
This coin was handpicked for its solid MS64 status. A few stray lines and a teenie tick or two can only be seen with a strong glass. A strong luster shows off ORIGINAL gold color. There are NO spots. All of the details are frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is nice!

All we can say is: can these be any cheaper too (we thought the $2.5 Libs were a steal)?

$2.5 1907 PCGS MS64
  HIGH END!
Sold on 04/2014
This is a HIGH END coin. Only a small frost break and some light Mint grease keep this coin from a full MS65 designation. The surfaces are clean overall. A strong luster shows off even ORIGINAL deeper yellow gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is really nice! !

All we can say is: can these be any cheaper? WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

50C 1887 PCGS PR66 CAMEO
  SUPERB!
Sold on 04/2014
A piece well worthy of not only its lofty grade designation, but the fact its one of the FINEST ever graded!

Sensational deep, crystal clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors beam from all over. A magnificent ring of totally ORIGINAL deep royal blue/violet/pale purple colors cover the rims only and lightly bends into off white centers. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have exceptional thick creamy white frost. The eye appeal is spectacular!

ONLY 710 were ever minted. PCGS 2, NGC 11, CAC 1. This coin is the ONLY PR66 that is CAC (nothing higher)! We can't find any auction records for any PCGS PR66 Cameo prior to July. Similar dates and grades (like an 1886 Pop 3) have sold for $8,800.00 10/12. Do not think twice, this is one really rare coin!

10C 1873 W/A PCGS PR64+CAMEO
  SUPERB!
Sold on 04/2014
Very cool coin!

Shimmering mirrors are strong, have awesome clarity, are clean, and have bold reflectivity. All we can see that might keep this coin from a full PR65 is a teenie lint mark. Both sides are untoned and have great zest. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is great!

ONLY 800 were ever minted. PCGS 6, NGC 2, CAC 3. This is the ONLY PR64+ graded by PCGS OR NGC. It has never been in auction. A PCGS PR65 CA sold for $6,325.00 05/2012 Heritage. Again, this is NOt a date or grade you see with any frequency!

$1 1921S ZERBE SP 64
  WICKED NEAT!
Sold on 04/2014
We have always had a fascination with these 1921 ZERBE and Chapman Proofs/Special strikings. This coin is a wonderful piece!

Only a few faint lines and some very light die polishing can be seen using a strong glass. The mirrors have some good reflectivity but they were made mostly shallow. There is a light natural golden patina cover both sides. This is certainly NOT a dull or hazy coin. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp strikes. This coin has never been altered in any way. The eye appeal is beautiful!

PCGS 3, NGC 0, CAC 1. The exact mintage is somewhat of a mystery-but it is estimated that only 25 of these may have been struck. We believe this coin is represented twice on the pops. the only 21S ever to sell was a PCGS NON CAC which brought $92,000.00 back in 01/2006 Heritage. Legend purchased this coin for what we feel was a bargain $86,250.00 out of our LM Auctions Dec Regency Sale (hey, we are always buyers of cool coins). We know this coin will make a great addition to any killer PR or MS Morgan set!

25C 1857 PCGS MS67
  ONE OF THE VERY BEST!
Sold on 04/2014
Finding a better NO Motto example will be impossible. This coin enjoys superior ULTRA HIGH END quality and has stunning eye appeal!

Outrageous surfaces are remarkably clean and sleek. There is a slight hint of semi-prooflike mirrors. With a strong glass you won't find ANY problems or ANY size, any where. A glorious mix of totally ORIGINAL shades of blue/gold/pale purple/sea green/pale golden brown colors swirl all over and are framed by a ring of semi-burnt orange/deep gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. Had this coin been in an MS68 holder, we would not flinch. The eye appeal is wicked awesome!

PCGS 5, NGC 21, CAC 6 (we think this coin is represented twice). hard to believe that to date, NO PCGS pieces have ever been sold at auction. That's powerful proof as to the rarity of this coin. The lone PCGS MS68 does look similar to this piece. Opportunity knocks loud for anyone building a killer 25C or Type set!

J-1597 1879 PCGS PR66 CAMEO
  AN AMAZING GEM!
Sold on 04/2014
Yes, this is the cover coin from the Feb LM Auction. We bought it-we just loved it too much. The quality and eye appeal are all there and then some!

This is an R-6 (12-30 known) example of a Washlady Pattern Half. The quality is truly amazing!

Deep, glittering mirrors have killer clarity, remarkable cleanliness, and offer intense reflectivity. A beautiful mix of totally ORIGINAL blue/golden brown/champagne/pale violet colors are splashed all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 1. Far as we are aware, prior to our auction, this coin had never sold in any major auction. We paid $30,550.00 from our sale. The last Washlady Half to sell was PCGS PR65 CAC which brought $19,550.00 08/2012 Stacks. We can not stress enough the rarity and beauty of this coin. We think it should easily be worth $50,000.00-but the market is still a bit shy on great patterns. Time will change that!

Half Dollars:Barber

50C 1901 PCGS PR67
  COOL TONING!
Sold on 04/2014
Proof Barber Halves really seem like exceptional values right now (as do all Barber denominations). This coin has stunning quality and eye appeal!

Shimmering mirrors are crystal clear, super clean, deep, and have an intense reflectivity. A wonderful and totally ORIGINAL mix of purple/pale navy/champagne/olive colors all swirl together and are splashed around both sides. The mirrors do look like a freshly made sheet of glass. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 9, NGC 23, CAC 4. The last auction record we have for any 1901 selling, was from 10/2012 Heritage. That coin was a PCGS NON CAC and still brought $7,050.00. Obviously, this is not an easy to find in the higher grades.

  STUNNING MIRRORS!
Sold on 04/2014
WOW! This is what a killer Proof should be like!

Explosive mirrors are really ULTRA deep. They have that "watery" liquid mercury look. There is not a single problem any where. You can't dream of clearer mirrors. The only "issues" are some light lines (actually look like die lines) on the face which you absolutely need a glass to see. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted (we do question why this coin is not Cameo designated. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 14, NGC 24, CAC 8. The last one to sell in major auction auction brought $2,702.00 02/2014 Heritage. We can assure you, you won't see many like this!
