10C 1886 PCGS PR65 CAMEO
  FLASHY!
Sold on 04/2013
These are so undervalued and overlooked!

This GEM is a legit black and white PR65! The mirrors are super clean, have great clarity, and are highly reflective. Both sides are white. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have thick frost. The eye appeal is pretty neat!

ONLY 886 were ever minted. PCGS 14, NGC 6, CAC 6. A PCGS NON CAC was the last record sold in auction. That piece realized $1,265.00 07/12 heritage. We think these are great values!

10C 1901 PCGS PR66
  A NEAR MISS CAMEO!
Sold on 04/2013
VERY HIGH END. Just one HIDDEN tick from PR67!

Deep, crystal clear, clean, and boldly reflective mirrors beam from all over. A moderate mix of ORIGINAL purple/navy colors frame the peripheries and open into silvery centers. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and have thick frost. There is a well HIDDEN tick on her cheek. The eye appeal is fantastic!

ONLY 813 were minted. PCGS 29, NGC 48, CAC 12. The last PCGS/CAC piece to sell in major auction brought $2,467.00 (10/12 Heritage). We think these represent excellent potential and current value!

25C 1893 PCGS PR66 CAMEO
  BOLD CAMEO APPEARNCE!
Sold on 04/2013
We love PR Barbers that look like this!

Shimmering mirrors are super clean, deep, clear, and have bold reflectivity. Both sides are untoned and appear moderately black and white. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted a creamy white and everything is sharply struck. The eye appeal is great!

ONLY 792 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 11, NGC 9, CAC 7. Do you really think those are huge numbers? We do NOT! The last one to sell in a major auction brought $3,055.00 (11/12 Heritage). We paid more for this one! This is the exact type of coin we strongly suggest you put away for a few years. They seem too cheap today!

50C 1859 PCGS MS65
  A SUPERB+ORIGINAL GEM!
Sold on 04/2013
We were smitten by this coin as soon as we saw it. In all our years as full time dealers, we do NOT remember seeing more than one other GEM 1859. This coin is just a hidden tick away from MS66 too!

Exceptional satiny surfaces are clean, superior, and clean save for a light hidden tick/line in the right obverse field. A surprisingly strong luster makes the coin appear almost semi-prooflike. Totally ORIGINAL moderate colors of navy/olive/gold/lime/blue swirl crazily over both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and stand out nicely. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 5, NGC 7, CAC 2. PCGS has only graded 3 coins higher. We can't stress enough how overlooked the rarity of a coin like this is. Why it's not worth $10,000.00+ is a mystery to us. The Current Collectors Universe Value is $7,250.00. Good luck finding another!

$1 1889O PCGS MS64DMPL
A REAL BLACK AND WHITE GEM!
Sold on 04/2013
Its been SEVEN years since we handled a 1889O DMPL in any grade. We just have not seen any we liked. Most of the pieces graded in the last few years simply lacked real mirrors-this coin does not. At arms length you can see yourself. Finally a real SUPER choice 1889O DMPL!

To start, the mirrors are a full 8" and have great depth, clarity, and reflectivity. They do look like a freshly made sheet of glass. There are some light ticks, lines, and giggles on the obverse-but NONE are serious or are detracting. The reverse is a full MS65DMPL. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have thick creamy white frost. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 21, NGC 8, CAC 2. Its a powerful statement as to how these do NOT come that after 25+ years of operations, PCGS has only graded ONE coin higher! The last one of these to sell in major auction was a NON CAC piece (certainly NOT this one-this coin is fresh) which brought $6,462.00 3/13 Stacks. If you are a serious DMPL collector, this coin is definite DMPL candy to add to any sweet set!

3CS 1853 PCGS MS65
  VERY HIGH END!
Sold on 04/2013
This coin is a miracle! How this tiny coin has survived for 160 years in such a remarkable state of preservation is mind boggling. We think with a little more color and may it would be a full MS66!

For an MS65 it's as clean and smooth as you will ever see. A strong luster shows off scattered light areas of golden brown colors. Amazingly ALL of the details are sharply struck and the more you study this coin under a glass, the more impressed you'll be. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 123, NGC 75, CAC 13. NO PCGS/CAC coins have ever sold at auction. At today's prices, we would hoard these if given the chance. Below $1,000.00 for a GEM like this seems way too cheap (in our opinion).

$20 1911 PCGS MS65
  SUPERB!
Sold on 04/2013
Looks more like a 1925 Saint than 1911!

Intensely lustrous surfaces cover both sides. Only a few minor light frost breaks can be seen. Overall, the coin is very clean and satiny. The color is a rich ORIGINAL orange gold. There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is very pleasing!

PCGS 36, NGC 43, CAC 12. The last PCGS/CAC piece to sell in a major auction brought $19,975.00 10/12 Heritage. Next step up now costs over $40,000.00 easily! Look as hard as you can, GEM Saints are not around anymore.

3CS 1867 PCGS MS64+
  VERY HIGH END!
Sold on 04/2013
We are pleased to own and offer this exceedingly rare and VERY HIGH END GEM!

To be honest, we do NOT see why PCGS did not grade the coin MS65. That does NOT mean they ever will. The surfaces are satiny and are remarkably clean. There are traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. Both sides are evenly covered by a gorgeous mix of totally ORIGINAL blue/violet/gold/pale tangerine colors. Every detail is sharply struck. The eye appeal of this coin is totally phenomenal!

PCGS 12, NGC 9, CAC 2. We think the pop of 12 in MS64 is a coin going through several times. This is the ONLY PCGS or NGC 64+. In MS65 PCGS has only graded 2 coins (a CAC would be worth close to $15,000.00) w/3 (we strongly doubt that) in MS66 (anyone want to sell us one?). The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $7,638.00 8/12 Heritage.

Having built the all time FINEST EVER MS+PR 3CS sets, we can tell, these are extremely rare and the pops are overstated. Opportunity could not knock any harder here!

Looking for a knockout Saint? Here ya go!

This piece has a nearly blinding booming luster. The surfaces are seriously satiny and super clean. There are NO spots or problems anywhere. The color is a brilliant ORIGINAL yellow gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is terrific!

The current WHOLESALE sight UNSEEN BID is $3,750.00.

  SILKY SMOOTH!
Sold on 04/2013
Can't say we have seen too many of these in the past few months we have liked, but this coin is more than likable!

Superior silky smooth surfaces are devoid of major problems. A full booming luster shows off totally ORIGINAL light creamy white/pale gold colors all over. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is VERY pleasing!

PCGS 91, NGC 108, CAC 17. The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $3,055.00 (1/13 Heritage). We acquired this coin from a very picky major Morgan collector.
