Half Dollars:Walking Liberty
Item - 7794
50C 1936 PCGS PR66
  NEARLY A CAMEO!
Sold on 04/2012
What a spectacular GEM! It is nearly a cameo (to be cameo the sun has to be frosted).

Amazing deep, crystal clear, perfectly clean, and wildly reflective mirrors beam from both sides. A dentist could work off the mirrors! Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have vivid silvery white frost. The eye appeal is totally spectacular!

PCGS 244, NGC 334, CAC 39.

THIS IS THE LAST 1936 PR66 WALKER WE HAVE. All the coins from the small group are now gone. Good luck finding more (especially CAC pieces) at these levels!

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

$10 1909S PCGS MS64+
  SURE DOES LOOK MS65!
Sold on 04/2012
This is the way a real + coin should be: almost the next grade up!

To the naked eye this coin does look MS65. However under a glass-a strong glass there are some teenie ticks and lines (very few though). The surfaces are satiny and have a strong luster. A beautiful tint of ORIGINAL soft gold color covers both sides. There are NO discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is really great!

PCGS 45, NGC 45, CAC 7. PCGS has graded only 5 coins MS64+. We show no records of any selling in auction. The last regular CAC coin to sell was an NGC piece. It brought $9,488.00 11/10 B+M. This is a VERY difficult date to locate in MS64 and higher. We do not think the pops are correct. An MS65 will cost you at least $20,000.00-if you can even find (we need 3 of them)!

$5 1827 PCGS AU58+
  NO SERIOUS WEAR!
Sold on 04/2012
For those of you like us who can't stand the MS60 grade, this coins grade-AU58+ is perfect! It really is a VERY HIGH END borderline MS coin!

The wear is only visible with a glass. These are no discolorations or flat dark spots. Both sides actually emit a decent luster. This coin definitely is NOT scrubbed up or messed with. Only a few trivial ticks are visible. The surfaces are also completely ORIGINAL. The color is a deeper orange gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp pinpoint strikes. The eye appeal is phenomenal!

PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. PCGS has graded possibly 9 coins higher. No AU58 (pop 2) has been in auction since 2004 (EIGHT years ago)! An MS61 sold for $61,000.00 08/07 Stacks (non CAC of course). We can not stress enough the extreme rarity of this date and grade. The chances of finding another QUALITY oriented example could take years!

Legend Numismatics is proud to own and offer this outstanding rarity.

50C 1893 PCGS PR66DCAMEO
  FRESH ICY MIRRORS!
Sold on 04/2012
Seeking the ultimate in Deep Mirrored Proof Barbers? This coin will more than provide you with satisfaction!

Stunning ultra deep, crystal clear, super clean, and highly reflective mirrors cover all the surfaces. Tilting the coin just a little makes the mirrors look like freshly formed ice. There is a hint of faint gold by the rims only. The contrast is deep enough the mirrors DO appear "black" (that's a positive term). Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and do have thick white frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!

ONLY 792 piece were struck. PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 1. This piece has never appeared in auction (at least as a CAC coin) that we know of. Today, flashy PR66 Cameos are bringing $7,000.00 in auction. Either of the 2 PR67 DC's would cost you at least $15,000.00 and they are NOT CAC'd. Opportunity knocks loud here!

10C 1829 PCGS MS67 MED DATE
  A UNANIMOUS MS67!
Sold on 04/2012
Were were so proud after we purchased this SUPERB GEM we showed it to some of the BEST graders in the biz. ALL of them (about 5) said WOW! This coin is a real MS67! That what real Legend quality is to us! WE LOVE this non improvable coin, and doubt there could ever be one finer.

You do not need a glass to see how clean and satiny the surfaces are. A super strong luster shows off the cleanliness boldly. No question this coin is 1000% frosty ORIGINAL. The surfaces are a creamy white and offer the slightest hint of gold by the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are remarkably struck and have bold frost. The eye appeal is jaw dropping sensational!

We unhesitatingly rank this coin as one of the VERY FINEST MS67 Bust Dimes that exists. If this coin can WOW, PCGS, CAC , and 5 of worlds top graders, then YOU will be more than satisfied to add it to your collection!

PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2. There is a VERY LOW END and ugly Large Date MS67 that sold for practically nothing ($19,550.00) in 2009. Do NOT get this coin confused with it.

Legend Numismatics is proud to own and offer this magnificent SUPERB GEM BUST DIME that is fresh to the market.

  ORIGINAL AND LUSTEROUS!
Sold on 04/2012
Love when these beautiful huge gold coins have that "thick" luster look! This coin is really nice. It is the last MS66 Saint we have in stock!

Super smooth yet sleek surfaces have a light satiny texture. There are NO significant problems anywhere. Only with a strong glass can see a teenie tick or two. A full booming "thick" luster shows off gorgeous deep and totally ORIGINAL gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have great strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 1475, NGC 845, CAC 150. The current sightUNSEEN WHOLESALE BID is $3,600.00. Take our word on this, if we are lucky we can only buy a coin or two each month! CAC MS66 Saints are VERY much in demand.

  SEMI-PROOFLIKE!
Sold on 04/2012
Only some wispy light lines and extremely light wear keep this coin from being a full MS.

The lines are light and are scattered. You need a glass to see them and any real wear. A full booming luster is on top of the flashy semi-prooflike mirrors. Both sides are a beautiful deeper ORIGINAL gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!

ONLY 1000 pieces were ever minted for circulation. PCGS 42, NGC 46, CAC 5. The last 3 1886 PCGS AU58's that have sold in auction have brought: $4,026.00, $5,750.00, and $4,140.00 all in 2011. Do not think this is a common coin-they are not.

  A SUPERB GEM AU!!
Sold on 04/2012
A SUPERB GEM AU is a VERY HIGH END AU. This coin also has total "ORIGINAL skin". That's something we hardly ever see.

This coin just oozes with bold originality. The surfaces are remarkably clean. Some luster peaks around the devices. both sides are a deep orange gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The wear is light and is nicely hidden. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 45, NGC 63, CAC 1. We can not stress enough how infrequent these coins appear.
