Gold:Three Dollar
Item - 6249
$3 1870 PCGS MS62
  PROOFLIKE+PRETTY!
Sold on 04/2011
This is a HIGH END MS62!

A few teenie ticks and lines ar scattered about-but that's to be expected for the grade. Besides being lightly prooflike, the surfaces do radiate a strong luster. There are NO spots or discolorations. The color is a deeper yellow pale orange gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 14 (PCGS has graded only 8 coins higher), NGC 6, CAC 1 (CAC has beaned NONE higher). The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $8,625.00 1/2009 Stacks. This is a much harder to find date in true choice MS than most people realize-an MS63 PCGS/CAC coin (if there ever is one) will set you back at least $20,000.00!

  SUPER HIGH END!
Sold on 04/2011
This is a R-7 (4-12 minted) Standard Silver struck in copper. This coin is totally ORIGINAL and is VERY high end!

Superior surfaces are PERFECTLY clean. A moderate mix of ORIGINAL Mint RD mixes with soft brown/golden brown/pale blue colors. The mirrors are crisp and have strong reflectivity. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 1. The last time one of these was in auction was in 1997! Collectors universe lists it at $4,000.00 while the Judd book values one at $4,750.00. if you think about it, a regular PR65 1869 50C just about costs the same! Opportunity is kicking hard and loud here!

Superior cleanliness coupled with a booming luster produce one heck of a 16S!

Even using a strong glass, there are NO serious impairments or even teenie hits. The surfaces are smooth and emit a full booming luster. A few pinpoint toning dots are scattered about and that's it (no discolorations or copper spots). Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!

  AN ORIGINAL !
Sold on 04/2011
We ONLY buy these when they are in their ORIGINAL serial numbered holders (with the imprint of the ship) and are CAC'd. Not only is this both, its also a VERY HIGH END GEM!

Sensational super clean surfaces are totally satiny. There is only a HIDDEN and teenie tick by the lips. A minimal luster shows off the cleanliness and the rich gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic and then some!

PCGS 127, NGC 69, CAC 11. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $14,950.00 03/10 Heritage and was not CAC'd. Also, until these were discovered, this date did not exist in MS!!!

Legend Numismatics is pleased to own and offer a genuine "treasure ship" coin-one of the coolest things you can own in coins.

G $1 1858 PCGS MS65
  VERY HIGH END!
Sold on 04/2011
Superb color and luster. This coin is just two teenie planchet chips (you need a glass to see them) on the face from MS66!

both sides are awash with an intense luster. You'll see some light die clashing, otherwise the surfaces are super clean and are satiny. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 6, NGC 4, CAC 2. PCGS has possibly graded 7 coins higher-still not a lot of these to go around in GEM! This date and grade are terribly UNDERvalued.

  GORGEOUS COLORS!
Sold on 04/2011
Not Sonnier colors. However, this coin does have super PRETTY colors! We do grade this a HIGH END MS66!

The quality is super too!

To the naked eye the coin looks smooth and super clean. Only with a strong glass can you detect any teenie ticks in the fields. A hugely blazing luster shows off the beautiful colors of blue/pale green/gold that intermingle on the obverse. The reverse has a smaller crescent of the same plus some reddish gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. her cheek will please any old time picky collector. The colors make this coin look so phenomenal!

PCGS 191, NGC 196, CAC 16. These are very difficult to find with pretty color. Opportunity knocks loud here!

  NOW WE'RE TALKING!
Sold on 04/2011
Its been ages since we have had a really killer MS 66 Bust Half we could offer. This coin was love at first sight for us-and will be for you too!

If perfection is what you demand, then this is your coin! Not a single flaw can be detected using a glass. There are NO discolorations on the high points. The luster is decent. Both sides have interesting color mixes of deep champagne/pewter/lavender/blue. This is NOT a dull or drab coin. Miss Liberty and all of the details are fully struck and do very much standout. The eye appeal is super!

PCGS 4, NGC 4, CAC 3. No PCGS MS66 1826 Halves have been in auction in the past 10+ years or so. The Collectors Universe Price guide values this at $27,000.00. Even if you offered $30,000.00 good luck on finding another!
