1C 1856 FE PCGS PR65
  FABULOUS!
Sold on 11/2011
This coin was love at first sight! It is a lock PR65 every time!

Surprisingly deep and flashy mirrors do appear clean over all. Only when using a strong glass can you see some teenie scattered "dead" flecks (NOT SPOTS or stains) by the rims (which also prove the coins ORIGINALITY). The color is a beautiful gold/pale copper/pale red. Every detail is needles sharp in strike and has lots of frost. The eye appeal is really pretty!

PCGS 48, NGC 31, CAC 6. The last PCGS PR65 CAC coin to sell in a major auction brought $37,375.00 04/2011 Heritage. These are not as easy to find as you think. The last one we handled in PR65 (we did sell the PR67 this year for $250,000.00) was back in early 2009. Can't find them nice!

  AMAZING!
Sold on 11/2011
This is a totally remarkable coin! It is the ultimate in ORIGINALITY and quality!

First, this coin was struck on a pretty much smooth and problem free planchet. There is little to no porosity. The color is a deeper chocolate-but staining is held to a minimum. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and do NOT have any black or bad wear. The appeal is amazing for 215 year old coin.

PCGS 4, NGC 1, CAC 3. PCGS possibly has graded 30 coins higher-a number we highly despite (we think more like a dozen). This is an extremely rare date in ANY grade. This coin sold in the Heritage auction for $27,600.00. We were prepared to pay more. We still you can't find us a better coin! Opportunity knocks loud here for any Large Cent or Type Collector!

H.10 1834 3/INV 3 PCGS MS67+
  GODZILLA+THE SECOND FINEST KNOWN!
Sold on 11/2011
OMG! When was this incredible GEM sent from heaven?

having built the all time FINEST EVER MS Bust Half Dime collection (which includes the MONSTER PCGS MS68 Inv. H.10) we know how rare these are and how they should come. All we can say is WOW!

No question this coin is 1000% ORIGINAL and has NEVER been messed with. The surfaces are FLAWLESS-even when using a powerful glass. Both sides have an intense luster that shows off super smooth and lightly velvety surfaces. There is a blush of pale gold by the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. With a glass you can easily see the inverted date. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. Only the LAW/Simpson PCGS MS68 is finer. An FYI, we value the MS68 at $50,000.00. This is the FINEST piece that will be available to collectors for years to come. We are pleased to own and offer this amazing coin for inclusion into a great collection.

$1 1921 PCGS SP65+ ZERBE
  ULTRA HIGH END AND AMAZING!
Sold on 11/2011
ULTRA HIGH END and breathtaking! Purchased from us from our Deal of the Decade back in April (a deal which was hidden in the Las Vegas desert for 12+ years), our customer just upgraded to a PR66. A wild coin like this we want back. Having seen the PR66, we can say without a doubt, this coin look better (that's the neg side of doing a registry set)!

Crisp, fresh, and totally virgin surfaces are unbelievably clean. The light die polishing lines you are typical for ALL Zerbes. The mirrors are unquestionably deep, clear, and have bold reflectivity. The originality of this piece is unquestioned. Only the reverse has the faintest touch of gold, while the obverse is blasty snowy white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have sharp strikes (for a Zerbe). The eye appeal is spectacular!

PCGS 12, NGC 10, CAC 1. This is the ONLY 65+ coin PCGS has graded. PCGS has graded about 8 coins higher (of which one just sold for $40,000.00).

If you are a very select collector and are building a special Morgan set, this coin belongs in it! We rarely see Zerbes this nice-even in the higher grades!

$1 1882CC PCGS MS66
  RAINBOW COLORS!
Sold on 11/2011
Now this is a rarity. We never see 82CC with serious rainbow colors like this!

First is should be noted, the quality is full MS66+. There are NO problems visible (only a few light bagmarks can be found with a glass). The luster is intense and shows off the color. Phenomenal rich but vibrant rainbow like colors of navy/emerald green/gold/violet swirl all over the obverse. The reverse is white with a pinch of amber. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is gorgeous!

We purchased this coin out of the Stacks 06/2011 sale for $6,325.00. The only other coin similar we have ever seen-is the Simpson/Sunnywood specimen. Opportunity knocks loud here for the serious colored Morgan Collector.

For a sneak peek go to PCGS cert verification: 25570990.

50C 1853 A/R PCGS PR65
AN AMAZING EXAMPLE OF A MAJOR RARITY!
Sold on 11/2011
Legend Numismatics is proud to own and offer this amazing GEM PROOF 1853 A/R 50C piece. No question it is a Proof and it is in the optimum condition! It has been off the market for the past decade.

Shimmering glass like mirrors are deep and do have some minor die polishing lines visible. There are NO problems visible. The clarity, depth, and flash of the mirrors is strong. An even mellow hint of light vibrant ORIGINAL gold covers both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have light frost. The eye appeal is superb!

This date is every bit as rarer than a 1894S 10C, 1804 $1, or even the famous 1838O 50C (which in PR 65 would be worth $1,000,000.00)! PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 1. Only NGC has one coin higher-a non stickered PR66 (which traded for $149500.00 in 2007 Heritage). We can confirm the NGC PR65 is locked up in major collection. We think that this coin is a legitimate steal in today's ultra rarity driven marketplace.

We are pleased to offer this once in a lifetime rarity for your consideration. Until we get the image up, you may view an image of the coin on the PCGS cert verification page. The serial number is 19749810.

50C 1865 PCGS MS66
  ONE OF THE FINEST KNOWN!
Sold on 11/2011
We consider this coin to be totally remarkable! It unquestionably ranks among the FINEST known. The quality is slightly better than the other PCGS MS66 (and that coin is no slouch)

Smooth and satiny surfaces are clean overall. There is only one small tick hidden in the right field (which is the only thing to keep this coin from MS67 or 66+). A surprisingly strong full booming luster shows off the surfaces and colors. Both sides start with a band of electric royal blue then blend into a lilac/lavender/tangerine centers. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have extra strong crisp frost. The eye appeal is totally jaw dropping and sensational! Mother nature did an incredible job here.

PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 3. The other CAC coin sold for $19,550.00 in 11/10 B+M sale. Had it been in last weeks ANA sale, who knows what it would have sold for. It is also in an old green tag holder. PCGS has only graded a MS66+ higher.

Legend Numismatics is proud to own and offer this magnificent rarity/GEM coin.

50C 1853 A/R PCGS MS66
  A TOTAL SUPERB GEM!
Sold on 11/2011
We know this coin is from a small group found a few years ago that produced at least one other MS66-and even one of the two (possible) MS67's! For an 1853 A/R 50C, this coin is amazing! Yes, this coin is from the incredible Type set that got broken up at CSNS.

To start, this is a totally ORIGINAL SUPERB GEM. There are NO visible marks anywhere. Even with a strong glass you'll only a teenie frost break or two and maybe a hairline. The surfaces do appear super satiny and smooth. Both sides do have an above average luster. This coin has NOT been dipped and has a pretty natural light gold/pewter color. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and do have full strikes. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 4, NGC 14, CAC 1. PCGS may have graded two MS67'S. The last PCGS MS66 to sell in major auction was a NON CAC which brought $69,900.00 1/08 Heritage. You hardly ever see these in MS65, let alone to find an MS66. Opportunity does not just knock, it roars and punds here!

10C 1796 PCGS AU55
  CHOICE AU!
Sold on 11/2011
We hardly ever see pre 1800 coins with CAC beans. So many have been messed with or simply are overgraded. This coin is accurately graded and has NOT been messed with!

Pretty much problem free surfaces reveal strong clashing marks more so on the obverse. The luster is light. Some areas of deeper gold splash around the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. There are NOT discolorations to mark the wear. The eye appeal is excellent!

PCGS 18, NGC 18, CAC 7. No CAC specimen has been auctioned. The last two NON CAC sold at major auction brought: $16,675.00 03/2009 and the other $18,400.00 04/2007 Stacks. These really do NOT appear with any frequency. And to find one CAC'd-now thats special!

  THE SECOND FINEST KNOWN!
Sold on 11/2011
A piece more than worth of being labeled the second finest known (the FINEST known is in our Law/Simpson set and is a 66+). This coin is awful close!

Amazing crisp, super clean, and intensely lustrous surfaces are not something you expect to see on a 142 year old S Mint coin. Both sides are also completely free of toning. Miss Liberty and the details are completely frosted and have good strikes (there is known weakness on the reverse). The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 1, NGC 3, CAC 2. We can NOT overstate this coins extreme rarity. The last time the other coin sold in a major public auction was back in 2006. It brought $8,050.00 08/06 Heritage. These should be worth substantially more-its not like you see one offered every year! Legend Numismatics is proud to own and offer this coin that is of BOTH exceptional quality and definite great rarity!
