Item - 9878
$10 1847O PCGS AU58
  SUPERB PLUS!
Sold on 03/2014
There is little not to love about this superb AU piece!

Exceptional surfaces are smooth and are extra clean. Only with a strong glass can you find a few scattered light lines. A decent ORIGINAL luster is visible. This coin has never been dipped or messed with. Both sides are an ORIGINAL gold highlighted by shades of pale reddish gold. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. Hard to believe this is an O Mint. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 11, NGC 82, CAC 2 (with none beaned higher)! Only 11 pieces possibly are graded higher by PCGS. Of course no PCGS CAC piece has ever been sold at auction. We can not stress his coins rarity (and quality too)!

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

  PRETTY!
Sold on 03/2014
We handpicked a very decent coin.

Only with a strong glass can you find a few teenie scattered ticks. The luster is strong and really shows off the beautiful ORIGINAL yellow/pale orange colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is nice!

All we can say is: can these be any cheaper? WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

$2.5 1925D PCGS MS64
  REALLY NICE!
Sold on 03/2014
The obverse is a no question 64.9 while the reverse is a solid MS64. Only a few small marks on the reverse are what keep this coin from a higher designation. A strong luster shows off pretty ORIGINAL pale two tone yellow/orange gold colors. There are NO spots. The details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is fabulous! !

All we can say is: can these be any cheaper too (we thought the $2.5 Libs were a steal)? WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

  PRETTY PERIPHERIAL COLORS!
Sold on 03/2014
What a pretty and exceptional SUPERB GEM piece this is!

Ultra satiny smooth and clean surfaces are a delight to see. Even the dreaded right side is super clean. A thick satiny luster shows off totally ORIGINAL shades of blue/reddish gold that frames the peripheries. The centers are a totally ORIGINAL creamy white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 51, NGC 67, CAC 26. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought 47,638.00 1/2014 heritage. Pieces like this with color do generally sell for more.

  AN AWESOME COIN!
Sold on 03/2014
WOW what a fabulous GEM!

Ultra sleek mirrors are full perfection at every angle! They are crystal clear, have great depth, and have bold reflectivity. A mind-boggling deeper (but not dark) mix of navy/olive/gold/purple/pale violet colors all swirl wildly on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is awesome!

ONLY 650 were ever minted. PCGS 8, NGC 7, CAC 4. The last PCGS CAC coin to sell in a major auction brought $15,862.00 012/2013 Heritage (not this coin)!

es represent tremendous value. As time goes on, finding higher grade specimens has become slim-and will only get slimmer. The prices of these have no where to go but up!

  VERY HIGH END!
Sold on 03/2014
This coin is definitely a borderline PR65 CA.

Deep mirrors are clean, crystal clear, and offer strong reflectivity. Even using a strong glass its hard to find a stray line or two. A wonderful mix of totally ORIGINAL olive/magenta/gold frames the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have thick frost. The eye appeal is fantastic!

ONLY 425 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 8, NGC 2, CAC 3. The last one to sell in major auction brought $999.00 09/2013 Heritage. These seem way to cheap!

  BEAUTIFUL GOLD COLOR!
Sold on 03/2014
Love this SUPERB GEM!

The mirrors are deep, crystal clear, super clean, and offer powerful reflectivity. Both sides have a blush of beautiful and totally natural gold color. This is not drab tissue paper toning! Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 758, NGC 854, CAC 260. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $822.50 07/2013 heritage. You really can't find pretty ones like this too easy!

  REALLY NICE!
Sold on 03/2014
We think this piece is seriously above average for the date. Its really hard to find ANY nice ORIGINAL choice AU $10's from the 1840's.

Faint traces of prooflike mirrors can easily be seen. A surprising decent luster beams from all over. The surfaces are very clean and smooth. A beautiful and totally ORIGINAL gold color is spread all over. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck-for an earlier O Mint (they generally come flat). There are NO spots or discolorations on the high points. The eye appeal is really nice!

PCGS 13, NGC 22, CAC 1. Hardly ANY PCGS or NGC pieces have sold at auction since 1999! NO CAC pieces have been sold. The last piece to sell (an PCGS NON CAC) brought $4,744.00 06/2012 Heritage. Fast forward to the really nice PCGS CAC piece here. Chances are, you will not see many more CAC 48O's of any grade offered!

  HIGH END!
Sold on 03/2014
We think this coin really is VERY high end. We really do not see why it is not at least an AU53-or even an AU55!

No question this coin is totally ORIGINAL. Some faint hints of luster can be seen. The surfaces overall are very clean and smooth. Both sides are an ORIGINAL deep gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations on the high points. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. For an earlier O Mint, this is a really nice coin. Plus, it has excellent eye appeal!

PCGS 19, NGC 25, CAC 2 (only 4 coins are beaned higher). The last one of these to sell in a major auction brought $3,290.00 06/2013 Heritage. Do not be fooled by the pops, this is NOT a date or grade you see often!

G $1 1859 PCGS PR66 DCAMEO
  AMAZING!
Sold on 03/2014
One look and you will see why this coin is more then deserving of owning the designation: FINEST KNOWN for the date in proof! You can not top this coins amazing quality or eye appeal.

Incredibly deep, crystal clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors explode from all over. Its impossible to have had dies and a planchet anymore highly polished. Only with a strong glass can you detect a scattered thin line or two that keep this coin from a full PR67 DC designation. The mirrors look like a thin fresh sheet of ice. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have thick iridescent gold frost. There are NO spots or discolorations. The eye appeal is awesome!

ONLY 80 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 1, NGC 2, CAC 1. This was crossed over from NGC a while ago by its previous owner. We purchased this coin from our recent LM Feb Regency Sale in Las Vegas. It sold for $38,188.00. We were prepared to pay much more. How can this coin not be a $75,000.00 piece? Time will bring out this coins true value. If you are seeking a great "put away" piece-check this wonder GEM out!
