3CN 1870 PCGS PR67 CAMEO
POSSIBLY THE FINEST 1870 PR 3CN!
Sold on
05/2013
We would grade this GEM PR67 all day long-every day! The quality really is all there and then some!
This is a fully black and white cameoed SUPERB GEM. Both sides have mirrors that are deep, crystal clear, super clean, and have powerful reflectivity. Even using a strong glass you will find NO imperfections. This coin does NOT appear to be dipped as it is creamy white. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and of course have thick frost. The eye appeal is beautiful!
ONLY 1000 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 1, NGC 3, CAC 1. Even in PR66 CA PCGS has only graded 6 coins. We strongly believe this coin to be the FINEST 1870 3CN Proof! Opportunity could not knock any louder here!

25C 1892 PCGS PR67 CAMEO
A BORDERLINE DCAMEO!
Sold on
05/2013
This coin definitely has a WOW factor!
Superior deep, crystal clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors beam from all over. The mirrors are watery and can be seen from across the room. There is a touch of some light toning splashed mostly across the reverse. This coin is undipped with residue remaining. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have thick snow white frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!
PCGS 10, NGC 19, CAC 4. This is the ONLY PCGS/CAC piece to sell in auction and realized $6,463.00 (2/13 Heritage). It is a "must see" for anyone who loves PR CAMEO Barbers!

50C 1882 PCGS PR65 CAMEO
BOLD ICE LIKE MIRRORS!
Sold on
05/2013
Talk about flash! WOW does this coin really pack a punch!
Deep (virtually ULTRA DEEP) mirrors are crystal clear, super clean, and have outrageous reflectivity. Moderate and totally ORIGINAL "tissue" paper type colors of golden brown/purple/navy/olive swirl over the surfaces. You can see on the reverse where it look like a dime was sitting. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have strong frost. The eye appeal is awesome!
PCGS 14, NGC 13, CAC 5. These are NOT as common or easy to find as you might think. The last one to sell in a major auction was a NON CAC which brought $3,680.00 (8/09 Stacks). That's a long time ago!

2C 1865 PCGS PR65RD
A NEON BLAZING MINT RED!
Sold on
05/2013
You're certainly not going to see this monster's twin anytime soon! We easily rank this coin as a PR65.9 for its killer quality.
Only a small hidden mint made DIE line on the reverse keeps this coin from being a $12,000.00+ PR66RD. The mirrors are ULTRA deep, super clean, and have outrageous clarity and reflectivity. The color is unlike most genuine PR RED coins you will ever see. It is an ORIGINAL electric MINT RED with highlights of gold. There are NO flecks anywhere. ALL of the details are sharply struck and display delicate frost. The eye appeal will make your jaw drop!
ONLY 500 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 15, NGC 8, CAC 2. We unhesitatingly state this coin is SUPERIOR to 99.5% of ALL PR65RD 2C pieces you will EVER see! Yes, this coin would fit easily into a PR66 set too!

1C 1809 PCGS MS62BN S-280 EX GERRIE
ULTRA HIGH END!
Sold on
05/2013
We admit defeat! We purchased this coin directly out the Gerrie collection (which was sold by Goldberg) back in 2/2013. We have been trying it multiple times seeking an MS63BN. For the life of us, we do not know what we are missing. They wouldn't even give us a +. This is a SUPER HIGH END coin!
Looks much better than just an MS62! The surfaces are superior in all qualities. They are ridiculously clean, have no porosity, have a strong glass/luster. There are NO spots or discolorations. The color is a rich brown. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do stand out. The eye appeal to us is phenomenal!
PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 1 (we think the PCGS and CAC pops are really just ONE-this coin). This coin sold in the Gerrie Collection sale for $26,450.00. We give up!
We cannot stress enough the extreme rarity of any MS 1809 1C. PCGS has graded only 5 higher after 25+ years of operations. If you are a Bust 1C Collector, this is an incredible opportunity.

5C 1912 PCGS PR66 CAMEO
A BORDERLINE DCAMEO!
Sold on
05/2013
Very close to being a full Deep mirror cameo!
The mirrors are deep, clear, clean, and have intense reflectivity. They do appear "watery" and seem like they would never stop running of twirled them. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have thick snow white frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!
PCGS 19, NGC 17, CAC 11. This coin is equal to the PCGS/CAC coin that sold for $2,185.00 12/2010. We can't stress enough how killer black and white this coin is!

3C 1873 PCGS PR67 EX JEU/LEGEND
AN AMAZING SPARKLING SUPERB GEM!
Sold on
05/2013
NOTE: This does NOT say Legend on the holder, only JEU, which was the complete collection we purchased to build the current #1 all time finest GEM PR 3CS Set (The Legend Collection). This coin is nothing short of amazing!
Deep electric mirrors have explosive reflectivity and are amazingly clear, clean, and deep. A mind boggling mix of ORIGINAL blue/green/gold/lime/pale orange colors all swirl wildly over the surfaces. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and has light frost. The eye appeal is PHENOMENAL!
Only 600 were ever minted for this PR ONLY date! PCGS 3, NGC 6, CAC 5 (we think the real number is 3). The last one of these sold for $9,775.00 (8/11 Heritage), which was light years ago. Today, a nice 3CS 1867 PR67 CAC sold for $25,000.00+. We just paid $23,000.00 for a 3C 1866 PCGS PR67 CAC. Certainly a coin like this 1873 is worthy of at least what we are asking. You can't get any better than a coin from a #1 set which was assembled and personally owned by the #1 dealer in the field! We replaced this coin with a monster PR67 CAC. In a major auction this coin would go nuts!

We've seen + pieces not nearly as nice!
This is the way we like these-stunning clear mirrors! You can see this mirrors depth and intensity from across the room. The mirrors also have amazing clarity. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and do have light silvery frost. The eye appeal is spectacular!

$1 1880S PCGS MS67
If you have been following our rants, we can NOT buy any of these (PCGS/CAC ONLY) at our bids of $775.00. Its not that our price is too cheap, its that these are legitimately hard to find!
This coin is what an MS67 should be. Super sleek and semi-prooflike surfaces explode with intense luster. There are few to NO marks or any size. The obverse is white while the reverse has a hint of gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have pinpoint sharp strikes. The eye appeal is stunning!
PCGS 1816, NGC 3300, CAC 422.

50C 1883 PCGS PR65 CAMEO
AWESOME COLORS!
Sold on
05/2013
If all PR Seated Halves looked like this, they'd easily be worth $10,000.00+ each! Yes, this is the real killer color/HIGH END quality deal!
Ultra deep mirrors are clean, wildly reflective, and have incredible clarity. You can only find a stray thin line or two with a super strong glass. Both sides are evenly covered by MONSTER (and we mean MONSTER) electric ORIGINAL colors of royal blue which blend into violet, then to pale burnt orange, then to creamy white. Miss Liberty and the details almost look 3-D since they stand out so boldly with thick ultra creamy white frost. The eye appeal is spectacular!
PCGS 10, NGC 22, CAC 2. Sure, there are 6 coins graded higher by PCGS, but we doubt they even come close to looking this wild!
