G $1 1851C PCGS MS64
  AWESOME!
Sold on 03/2015
We learned long ago that the word "awesome" need to be used sparingly and only when deserved. Duh, this coin is more then worthy of being called awesome!

Immaculate surfaces are satiny and have a wonderful smooth texture. Even with a really strong glass it is still hard to find any impairments. The luster is strong. Both sides are a beautiful original gold. There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are amazingly struck and do exhibit light frost. The eye appeal is really special!

PCGS 10, NGC 6, CAC 3. PCGS has graded only 9 coins higher. The last auction sale for one of these is back in 11/12 Heritage. That coin brought $10,575.00. The current Collectors Universe Value is $13,500.00. Opportunity knocks loud here!

$3 1874 NGC MS63PL NEWMAN
  GORGEOUS!
Sold on 03/2015
Saw this coin and could not get it out of our mind!

Fully prooflike mirrors mix with a booming luster and beam from all over. Only a few tiny ticks and giggles can be seen because of the flash. There is a band of original reddish gold that frames the peripheries and opens into bright centers. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have good strikes. The eye appeal is awesome!

PCGS does NOT designate PL. NGC has graded only 2 coins 63PL. between the price of gold dropping, the cool PL designation, and the Newman pedigree, this coin delivers strong value!

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

10C 1840O NO DRAPERY PCGS MS65
  THE FINEST KNOWN!
Sold on 03/2015
This is the FINEST No Drapery 40O 10C that exists! The overall quality is SUPER HIGH END!

If this coin had a + we would not complain. Superior surfaces are satiny and are super clean. A moderate but all around luster shows off totally original colors of pale green/reddish gold/blue that frame the peripheries on both sides. This does not appear to be a coin that was dipped and came back. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is phenomenal!

PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 1. This coin originally was in an NGC holder. It sold for $46,000.00 in that holder back in 04/2009 Heritage. We can not over dramatize the extreme rarity of this coin in GEM (even in MS64 they are rare: PCGS pop 2). If you are building one of the all time greatest sets of Dimes, then this is a "must have"!

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

H.10 1832 PCGS MS67
  THE EPITOME OF PERFECTION!
Sold on 03/2015
Having built the greatest ever Bust Half Dime Collection (1829-1837) we know how these should come and how they don't (http://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/alltimeset.aspx?s=71631). We can tell you this piece is outstanding!

Flawless surfaces are clearly visible all over. The surface texture is slightly satiny with light traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. A full booming luster makes the gorgeous and totally original colors of olive/rose/gold/blue stand out. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extremely sharp strikes. The eye appeal is phenomenal!

PCGS 11, NGC 15, CAC 13. The last one to sell in auction brought $14,100.00 and was this coin. The collector has since surrendered on a project and has moved on to other numismatic endeavors. We think a great opportunity is being afforded here!

10C 1837 NO STARS PCGS MS67
ONE OF THE FINEST IN EXISTENCE!
Sold on 03/2015
This is one of the finest known-if not THE finest known 1837 10C. We have kept it in the Legend family ever since it the Knoxville Collection (a monster Type set) was dispersed years ago. Whoever buys this SUPERB GEM is getting a really special piece!

Absolutely flawless surfaces are devoid of even the most microscopic contact marks, lines, or ticks. A strong luster illuminates the gorgeous and totally original soft navy/purple/pale violet/gold color that swirl all over the surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have pinpoint sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 2. The last one to sell in auction was way back in 2007 when a PCGS MS67 (pre CAC) sold for $63,250.00. We think this coin should be worth much more today! Good luck finding another.

H.01 1853 PCGS MS65BN
  VERY HIGH END!
Sold on 03/2015
Ultra High End for sure!

The only reason this coin is not in an MS66BN holder-there are a few microscopic TONING dots scattered around that can only be seen with a glass. Otherwise, this coin is remarkably clean and smooth. The surfaces are both glossy and lustrous. This coin definitely has NOT been brushed or messed with. Both sides are an even original chocolate brown color. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 38, NGC 113, CAC 17. Do not let the pops fool you. We could NOT find any record of ANY PCGS CAC piece selling in auction. THIS COIN IS BEING SOLD AT OUR BEST PRICE!

50C 1897 PCGS PR67 DCAMEO
  WILDLY INTENSE DEEP MIRRORS!
Sold on 03/2015
Multiple WOW factors here! It looks like the coin was carved from a block of ice! This is the epitome of what an ULTRA CAMEO should be.

Incredible mirrors are ULTRA deep and have amazing clarity, cleanliness, and of course intense nearly blinding reflectivity. The mirrors look like a dynamite pool of liquid mercury. There is NO toning or haze. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have full crisp strikes. The eye appeal is pure candy!

ONLY 731 were minted. PCGS 17, NGC 9, CAC 11. Its been a long time since one of these has sold at auction. The last one brought ONLY $9,988.00 in 11/2014. We assure you, that coin wasn't even close to this in terms of quality and eye appeal (we should know, we bought and sold it). Prior to that one sold for $14,100.00 02/2013 Heritage. We just bought this coin from a collector who has had it for several years. One look and its easy to see why he had it and why you will want it. We still believe coins like this are a great long term buy.

25C 1806/5 PCGS MS65+ EX COL GREEN/NEWMAN
AN ORIGINAL MONSTER OF A QUARTER!
Sold on 03/2015
Ever since we laid eyes on the stunning GEM it has been on our minds. You just can't forget a coin that has it all-ULTRA HIGH END quality, originality, WILD color, and of course a famous pedigree!

To start, it is critical to know that is NOT one of the dipped and retoned coins. The surfaces are clean and have a satiny smooth texture. Only with a strong glass can you see a few lines/light imperfections. A vivid band of original blue/green/champagne colors frame the peripheries only. The centers are a creamy white. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is unforgettable and incredible.

PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 1. PCGS has graded 2 in MS66. It bought $152,750.00 in the first Gardner sale in 011/2013 as an MS65. Then it reappeared in the 07/2014 Heritage sale where our customer bought it for $176,250.00. The current Collectors Universe Value is $175,000.00. We fully agree this coin is worth every cent of that. Our customer has stopped building his Type set and has moved on to another area of interest. Opportunity can't knock any louder here!

25C 1901S PCGS MS67+
THE GREATEST 01S ON THE PLANET!
Sold on 03/2015
This monster coin is ex Gardner. Here is what Gene had written about it: "A mesmerizing kaleidoscope of colors covers the surfaces of this coin. More than having just casual eye appeal, this coin commands the eye's attention. I can lose myself in it for long stretches of time. So beautiful it is almost impossible to look away. Great rarity, great strike, great luster, and magnificent colors. This coin has it all."

All we can add is that coin is a complete WOW! It is of the ultimate quality and eye appeal! You can look hard and long and never find ANY imperfections. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have fully struck features.

If you buy the very best, then is the 01S 25C you MUST have!

This great piece brought $258,000.00 in the Gardner sale in June (our customer has since had a change of direction in his collection). The current Collectors Universe value is $275,000.00. Opportunity knocks as loud as humanly possible here!

We didn't think we'd get our hands on another one at todays prices.

This coin is very clean and is really problem free. The surfaces do have a strong luster which shows off the pretty natural gold color. All of the details are frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
