$1 1881S PCGS MS67
  A BOLD WHITE REFRESHING GEM!
Sold on 11/2014
Love everything about this coin! Even when prices were higher we never could find them this nice.

This coin is outrageously clean and satiny smooth. A full booming luster shows off zero imperfections on he crisp snow white surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. Her cheek is really clean. The eye appeal is fabulous!

Bought this coin (and another from a dealer who needed to raise some $$-never paid so low).

10C 1800 PCGS AU58
  A TRUE GEM AU!
Sold on 11/2014
There is NO visible wear. Finding GEM AU problem free early bust coins like this is a challenge!

Exceptional surfaces have NO serious problems. The planchet seems to have a few very minor imperfections-which is typical. A surprising strong luster shows off totally ORIGINAL pale gold/deep silver colors. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 5, NGC 4, CAC 2. PCGS has graded only 5 MS pieces after 25+ years of operations. The last PCGS CAC AU58 piece to sell brought $23,500.00 01/2014 Heritage. In 2008 two of these (probably only one coin) sold for $32,200.00.

This is a great coin for any Bust Dime or Type set. Even if you are a very selective buyer, this coin WILL more then impress you!

We are surprised this magnificent coin is still in our inventory. We really want it to have a good home. Here is something neat to do: Start a 1800 set of coins. Buy this and the $1 1800 PCGS AU58 we have posted (now discounted) . Put 1/3 down and pay the balance by Dec 22nd! That's real opportunity.

$1 1878 8TF PCGS MS66+ SUNNYWOOD/SIMPSON
  A WEALTH OF RAINBOW COLORS!
Sold on 11/2014
We'll use Sunnywoods own words from our catalog: "The popular Eight Tail Feathers variety marks the first adopted reverse for the new silver dollars of 1878. The design was later revised to seven tail feathers in accordance with Morgan's original intent, although the even number eight is actually more accurate. (According to Hawk Mountain's Research Center, most large birds of prey including the Bald Eagle have precisely 12 tail feathers, an even number.) This spectacular coin has some prooflike characteristics, exciting eye appeal, and PQ technical qualities - high end for the assigned grade. The color spectrum and quality of this coin are truly memorable."

Truly the ultimate in color and quality for an 8TF! We have only ever seen one even close-and we PAID $25,000.00 for a few years ago. The color scheme on this coin is mind boggling!

We are pleased to offer collectors a second (and maybe final) chance to buy a coin from the record breaking greatest colored dollar set ever assembled. PCGS has graded only 3 coins MS66+ with 2 higher (one sold for $46,000.00 in 2007-non CAC). The color premium is actually small!

25C 1924 PCGS MS66+FH
  SUPER HIGH END!
Sold on 11/2014
We've studied this coin really hard over and over.We grade it MS66.9+ with a real FULL HEAD!

We've seen lesser and certainly less lively coins in higher holders. The surfaces are immaculate. There are no ticks of any size to be found. A full booming luster shows off the totally original creamy white colors. Most important: the strike. You do not need a glass to see the true FH, or every rivet in the shield. The strike is so full and sharp it has to be on steroids! The eye appeal is nothing less then tremendous!

PCGS 39, NGC 19, CAC 10. The last PCGS CAC regular MS66 piece to sell in auction brought $4,846.00 08/2013 Heritage. No MS66+FH CAC has ever sold at auction. We assure you, this coin is vastly superior to the majority of MS66FH's you will ever see!

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

$1 1893CC PCGS MS63
  OUTRAGEOUS COLORS!
Sold on 11/2014
Yes, this is the crazy colored 93CC from our recent auction of the Sunnywood/Simpson Collection. We have NEVER seen any 93CC remotely close in color!

The quality is very choice and is pleasing. There are some light ticks and giggles-to be expected for a MS63. Nothing is serious or detracts. An intense luster really makes the jaw dropping totally original cascading rainbow colors stand out. Electric shades of pearl green/violet/amber/gold all cascade down the obverse. The reverse is white and frost. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck (not flat). The eye appeal is unlike any you will EVER see for a 93CC. When we first saw this coin years ago our jaws dropped and locked. Today, we still have that same reaction. You will too!

Everyone had a favorite coin or two from the sale. This was ours!

50C NEW ROCHELLE PCGS MS67+
  AWESOME COLORS!
Sold on 11/2014
This coin is an awesome colored SUPERB GEM New Rochelle!

First, the technical qualities are all there and then some. There is one teenie well hidden reeding mark, other wise the surfaces are sleek and are flawless. There is a slight hint of semi-proooflike mirrors. A super strong luster really helps mother natures magical paint brush show off her awesome artistry. A vivid crescent of reddish gold frames the rims and blends into gorgeous pastel lime/amber/baby blue colors on both sides. There is a light trace of a partial finger print on the reverse-but it blends in well w/awesome colors. All of the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is incredible!

PCGS 176, NGC 109, CAC 79. PCGS has only graded 20 pieces MS67+ with only 4 in MS68. The last PCGS MS67+ to sell in auction brought $3,525.00 06/2013 Heritage. We looked that coin up, it had hardly any color. Opportunity knocks loud here!

The image does not due this coin justice!

$10 1844O PCGS AU55+ NEWMAN
  PHENOMENAL!
Sold on 11/2014
Love the quality and looks of this coin!

The originality of this piece is tremendous. The obverse has beautiful original deeper yellow gold colors while the reverse (obviously sat on felt) has a rich gold/coppery/orange gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. All you can see in the fields are light lines-there are NO marks anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is gorgeous

PCGS 8, NGC 86. CAC 4. This is the ONLY AU55+ graded by PCGS. There are no prior auction sales or really relevant pricing available. All that and you know where this coin has been residing for the past 40-50 years-the Newman Collection! Opportunity knocks loud here!

5C 1925 PCGS MS66+
  SUPER HIGH END!
Sold on 11/2014
Bought this killer piece from a major "crackout" dealer who only sold it because his backer made him. Otherwise he'd submit it 25x seeking an MS67. The coin sure is HIGH END!

Outstanding surfaces are ULTRA clean and smooth. The ONLY thing keeping this coin from being worth $7,000.00 as an MS67-a small teenie tick on that's well hidden on the face. If we did not tell you, you would not see it. A full booming luster shows off beautiful pale nickel/creamy light gold color. All of the details are well struck. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 216, NGC 127, CAC 54. PCGS has graded 15 in MS66+ (we wonder how many times this coin has been 66+). The last PCGS CAC piece that sold in auction brought $1,058.00 01/2013 Heritage. That is an awful long time ago!

  POWERFUL FLASH!
Sold on 11/2014
What a beautiful and quality oriented SUPERB GEM!

Highly impressive mirrors are deep, have amazing crystal clear clarity, are outrageously clean, and offer tremendous reflectivity. They look like a freshly made sheet of glass. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have pinpoint sharp strikes. The eye appeal is intense! This is a coin you can twirl all day and never want to stop.

PCGS 4, NGC 11, CAC 3. There is NO auction record for any selling-with or without a CAC bean. We recently sold one of these for $14,500.00. Keep in mind, it took millions of coins and over 25 years of operations for PCGS to get to a grand total pop of 4-with NONE higher!

  GORGEOUS!
Sold on 11/2014
This coin jumped out at us while buried deep in long box of coins. Its all there and then some for sure!

The luster is intense and you are see it shine from across the street. Both sides offer surfaces that are surprisingly clean and are truly above average. There is one microscopic copper dot well hidden in a star at 8:00 on the obverse (if we did not tell you-you would not see it). Even with a strong glass all you will are a few super light ticks. A gorgeous light two tone totally original mix of pale orange/yellow gold colors are spread all over. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is gorgeous!

PCGS 984, NGC 442, CAC 64. The last coin to sell in auction brought $3,819.00 04/2014 Heritage. We assure you, if this coin were in auction, it would sell the same or even more!
