50C 1937 PCGS MS67
  DELIGHTFUL!
Sold on 05/2015
Can't beat this coins great qualities!

No question this coin was carefully saved since the day it left the bank. Superb surfaces are exceptionally clean and smooth. You can see some light die polishing lines. The dreaded right field is above average with no major issues. A strong luster shows off original creamy white/pale gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have delicate frost. The eye appeal is super!

PCGS 134, NGC 89, CAC 57. The current Collectors Universe Value is $1,500.00.

$10 1862 PCGS AU58 SIMPSON/HALL
  NO VISIBLE WEAR!
Sold on 05/2015
This is a tremendous example of a much sought after and hard to find Civil War date! Typically, these are dull, crusty, and many we have seen have been cleaned. This piece is a breath of fresh air!

First, we are surprised to see this coin has delicious traces of semi prooflike mirrors. Of course NONE are serious or detract. The wear is light and can not be seen w/the naked eye. A bold luster does enhance the stunning original gold color. There are no spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have crisp full strikes. The eye appeal is gorgeous!

PCGS 7, NGC 11, CAC 3. PCGS has graded NONE higher. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $28, 200.00 02/2013 Heritage. We were the buyers and sold the coin immediately to a dealer. We can't stress enough the popularity and rarity of this date and grade!

H.01 1848 PCGS PR65RB ORIGINAL EX MISSOURI
  SUPERB IN EVERY RESPECT!
Sold on 05/2015
The extreme great rarity and quality of this coin can NOT be overstated. It is as rare as 1894S Dime, and it has VERY high end quality! In your lifetime you will see no more then a handful of ORIGINAL HALF CENT PROOFS offered of any date or grade.

What a marvelous and totally ORIGINAL GEM this coin is. Shallow but real mirrors are clear, clean, and do have some decent reflectivity. The color is a totally ORIGINAL mix of faded mint red and light brown. A few tiny toning dots can be seen. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have light frost. Here is a partial description from Goldberg: "Mint red fading to steel brown, about half of the red remaining. The fields are nicely reflective with moderate mirrors on the obverse and slightly deeper ones on the reverse. A gem except for a few carbon spots, including one in the field left of the date and another in the field below star 10 near the hair bun." We'd like to add, the eye appeal is wonderful!

ONLY 15 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. The only other piece graded 65-is the other PR65+ from the Missouri cabinet. That coin sold for $94,875.00. If that coin had not been first, we would not have been able to buy this. There was a new collector who no question was determined to buy a complete PR set from the sale. Most likely this will be the ONLY ORIGINAL PR 1848 for sale for years. NO PR65's have ever sold in auction. The last PR64RB that sold was back in 2003-that coin brought $10,350.00. We can't stress enough how much we feel these are UNDERvalued -still!

Legend Numismatics is proud to own and offer this extreme rarity to our collecting friends. This coin is ex Missouri Cabinet-possibly the finest ever group of PR Half Cents assembled.

  BEAUTIFUL!
Sold on 05/2015
This is a totally original GEM Pr 2C piece!

The mirrors are bold and they beam from all over. They are also clean, deep, have remarkable clarity, and are highly reflective. Both sides are beautifully toned with shades of original pale mint red/violet/pale golden brown colors. Every detail is frosty and has a crisp sharp strike. The eye appeal is great!

ONLY 600 coins were ever minted. PCGS 44, NGC 42, CAC 13. The last one to sell in auction brought $1,528.00 01/2015 in a weaker sale! Opportunity knocks loud here!

5C 1913 TYII PCGS PR68
ONE OF THE FINEST KNOWN FOR THE SERIES!
Sold on 05/2015
The ultimate MATTE PR Buffalo! Multiple WOW factors here!

Calling this coin a "monster" is an understatement!

This is by far on the finest EVER Matte Proof Buffaloes you will EVER see. The surfaces are a full crispy Matte texture. Using a super strong glass you will find ZERO imperfections of ANY size, ANY where. An intense luster makes the original gold/pale violet rim colors stand out in 3-D fashion. The centers are a neon like silvery/lilac color. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and stands out. The eye appeal is mind boggling and totally unforgettable!

PCGS 7, NGC 5, CAC 6 (this coin is 2x). Very critical to know, the last one of these to sell in auction was a PCGS NON CAC. That coin brought $46,000.00 back in 04/2009 Heritage. Keep in mind, that was SIX years ago and the coin was NOT CAC! We do not recall seeing ANY PR68 PRe 1936 Buffaloes for sale in the past 2 years! Opportunity does more then just knock here!

  HIGH END!
Sold on 05/2015
This is a really nice Quarter Eagle. It has great luster and original even gold color. There are no spots. Only a few frost breaks are visible. All of the details are well struck. Even the reverse is super clean. The eye appeal is excellent!

This is our very last $2.5 Indian in MS64. We did not realize we had it hidden in a box! You can't beat the price!

50C HUGENOT PCGS MS67+
  REMARKABLE!
Sold on 05/2015
Now this is something you rarely ever see-a high grade AND colored Huguenot!

No question this piece is more then worthy of its lofty designation. The surfaces are ultra clean and satiny. A full booming and unbroken headlight type luster beams from all over. Both sides are graced by an original huge crescent of deeper reddish gold/golden brown/green/navy color that open into undipped silvery centers. Every detail is razor sharp in strike. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 49, NGC 49, CAC 16. PCGS has graded only 8 in MS67. We see no early auction records for any ever selling. We paid strong for this because its unlike any other Huguenot we have seen in years!

50C 1902 PCGS PR65 CAMEO
  ULTRA HIGH END!
Sold on 05/2015
Rarely do post 1900 Proof Halves come with such deep contrast! The quality is ULTRA HIGH END!

This coin just has a few light lines (you need a glass to see them) on the face that keep it from being a full PR66 Cameo. The mirrors are so deep and clear they could be seen by the Mars rover! Really! They are also ultra clean and have nearly blinding reflectivity. They look like a highly polished piece of aluminum. A thin band of original pale navy/purple/pale magenta frames the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted are snow white and have full pinpoint sharp strikes. The eye appeal is of knockout caliber!

Only 777 were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 0, CAC 4 (we think this coin is at least 2x). We paid a lot more then what the last one sold for 2 years ago in auction ($3,966.00). Plus, the next step up will cost you about $10,000.00-if you can find one! This coin is more then worthy of the price!

  BOLDLY MIRRORED!
Sold on 05/2015
We always buy these when they look great like this coin!

Super deep mirrors are also crystal clear, ultra clean, and have intense reflectivity. You can actually twirl this coin and the mirrors will resemble liquid mercury. A teenie dot of gold toning can be seen only on the reverse at 12:00. All of the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 463, NGC 340, CAC 108. Since June these have been selling for $1,762.50-$2,232.00. A PCGS NON CAC piece just sold at the FUN Auction for $1,990.00. What you pay should really be equal to the coins quality. We know you won't be disappointed here!

$10 1932 NGC MS64
  VERY HIGH END!
Sold on 05/2015
This coin is housed in an OLD NGC holder! We definitely have seen much worse in MS65 holders!

Remarkably clean and smooth surfaces are a delight to view. A strong luster shows off crisp original deeper yellow gold colors. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. The eye appeal is VERY HIGH END and great!

The current sightunseen WHOLESALE BID is $1,240.00 which is really cheap (we certainly can't find many at this price). Keep in mind, this is a VERY high end coin!
