Half Dollars:Walking Liberty
Item - 7504
50C 1941 PCGS PR67
  GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!
Sold on 02/2012
This coin is how we love to see Proof Walkers be. Looks like a ball of fire and its nearly cameoed!

Super deep, crystal clear, and wildly reflective mirrors adorn both sides. There are ZERO problems anywhere. The mirrors also look like "liquid mercury". Miss Liberty and the details are not only needle sharp in strike, they are loaded with thick silver frost. If the sun were frosted too, this coin would be worth $25,000.00! This coins eye appeal reminds you of a Proof Silver Eagle!

PCGS 259, NGC 433, CAC 65. Not as common as you think. The last one to sell in major auction brought $891.00 12/11 Heritage. We promise, this coin will blow that one away!

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

$1 1881CC PCGS MS66DMPL
  A FULL 8[quotes] DEEP B+W GEM!
Sold on 02/2012
Do not expect these to come as crazy deep as a super 80S. This coin clearly has full 8" deep mirrors and lots of pizazz!

Deep, crystal clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors adorn both sides. There are some very MINOR teenie scattered ticks-nothing that makes the coin any less than 66DMPL. You can practically shave using the mirrors! Miss Liberty and the details are heavily frosted and creamy white. She does have the small round grease stain on her upper cheek (these are Mint made and are all 81CC's). ALL of the details are fully struck and appear boldly. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 46, NGC 14, CAC 3. PCGS has graded one higher-which sold for $63,250.00 07/08 Heritage. The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $10,580.00 in Teletrade of all places 12/11. This coin is also housed in a PCGS Secure Plus holder.

50C LINCOLN COMMEM PCGS MS66
  A PEACOCK WOULD BE JEALOUS!
Sold on 02/2012
This is one of the finest colored Lincolns we have ever seen-and we have been handling (and paying world record prices) for wild colored Commems for the last 30 years! We're not going to give a big description-the image does say almost everything about this wild coin (it looks far better in hand). Warning: do NOT view this coin around any peacocks! They will go mad!

To see a semi decent image go to PCGS cert verification: 25543886.

$1 1881S PCGS MS68
  A BLAZING WHITE SUPERSTAR!
Sold on 02/2012
We always buy NICE MS68 Morgans when we see them (and they are priced right). This coin WILL please even the fussiest buyer!

An explosion of luster makes this coin really glow in the dark. A few very teenie ticks are visible (there is no such thing as an absolute perfect Morgan) but overall, the coin is super clean. Both sides are a bold blazing silvery white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full struck. The eye appeal is sensational!

PCGS 94, NGC 201, CAC 40. Opportunity knocks loud here!

25C 1853 A/R PCGS MS65
  A STONE BOLD GEM!
Sold on 02/2012
We had been searching for years to find a really nice 53 A/R to stock. Finally, we found one that made the wait worth while!

No question this totally ORIGINAL GEM would be an MS65 every time. It has amazingly clean and smooth surfaces. Even using a strong glass, we can not find ANY imperfections ANY where! A moderate luster shows off even deep pewter/gold/pale blue colors on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is quite attractive.

PCGS 16, NGC 27, CAC 2. PCGS has graded 8 higher-while CAC has stickered NONE higher. Do NOT be fooled by the pops, these are extremely rare coins. We have only handled one other (back in 2007) and that's it.

10C 1937 PCGS PR68
  PERFECT!
Sold on 02/2012
This is the first PCGS CAC'd coin we have seen! Guess these do not come too nice for CAC.

Glittering deep, clear, clean, and flashy mirrors dominate both sides. A light mist of baby blue (that original tissue paper color) can be seen only when the coin is tilted. This is NOT a hazy or spotted coin-we do NOT buy those. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is totally fantastic!

PCGS 24, NGC 37, CAC 4. Only 2 NGC coins have sold at auction: $4,600.00 12/10 Heritage and our ex Simpson coin $6,325.00 8/10 (which did have some monster color). Regardless, does not look like many of these are being beaned!

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

10C 1805 PCGS MS66 4 BERRIES
  THE QUIET GODZILLA!
Sold on 02/2012
One of our all time favorite coins (of any denomination). It was even owned for a while by TWO of the principals of Legend. Bust Dimes like this, especially in SUPERB GEM are extremely rare and are horribly under VALUED. This coin has both tremendous quality and eye appeal.

Flawless surfaces are slightly satiny. Even using the worlds strongest glass, you can not find ANY impairments of ANY size, ANY where. A decent luster shows off moderate colors of gold/violet/green that frame the stars and open into lilac/honey centers. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is amazing and looks MS67!

PCGS 4, NGC 7, CAC 1 (CAC has stickered NONE higher). Hard to believe PCGS has graded 3 coins higher (the last one SOLD for $149,500.00 back in 2004)!

  FANTASTIC!
Sold on 02/2012
This is a VERY nice example of something that's hard to find even nice!

Using a strong glass, you will marvel how remarkably clean and smooth the surfaces. If anything, there are a some VERY minor lines that keep this coin from an MS65. You can see two teenie toning dots on the rims. The surfaces are 100% ORIGINAL and have not been dipped or messed with in any way. The color is an even pretty gold. ALL of the details have light frost and display sharp strikes. The eye appeal is really fantastic!

PCGS 82, NGC 64, CAC 68. The last two CAC beaned coins to sell in major auctions brought $10,638.00 Stacks 03/2011 and Heritage 09/2010 $12,075.00. Do not be fooled by the pops. These are extremely hard to find in UNMESSED with GEM condition! Opportunity knocks loud here!

$1 1882 TRADE PCGS PR66
  PHENOEMNAL EVERYTHING!
Sold on 02/2012
This majestic beauty is mother nature displaying her finest work! Plus, the technical qualities are all there and then some!

Killer deep, crystal clear, super clean, and boldly reflective mirrors adorn both sides. They look like a freshly formed sheet of ice. Stunning ORIGINAL colors of circular rainbow like blue/purple/violet open into bold tangerine centers. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and have thick frost. The eye appeal is major WOW factor!

PCGS 17, NGC 31, CAC 5. This is not a dull or bland coin-you can really see the colors!

25C 1881 PCGS PR66+ CAMEO
  STUNNING!
Sold on 02/2012
Who needs and alarm clock when you have a killer coin like this??? As usual, PCGS wanted to make + the day this coin came in. We can possibly see it in a PCGS PR67 cameo holder one day-but we make NO promise that will ever happen!

Shimmering deep, crystal clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors dominate both sides. Only with a strong glass can you find a thin light line or two. An electric ring of magenta/gold frames parts of the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is a major WOW!

975 were minted. PCGS 15, NGC 10, CAC 6 (ALL). PCGS has graded only 2 coins in PR66+ (this might be both). Recently, a regular PR66 cameo sold for $4,313.00 in 11/11 Stacks. If you love electric WOW Proof coins, then this is one you should seriously consider!
