50C 1853 W/A PCGS MS65+
Until the "Deal of the decade" this was the high end coin we had placed in our partners Half Dollar Type set. The ONLY reason it is now for sale, he kept the insane 1853 W/A PCGS PR65 specimen! So some lucky Half Dollar Collector has chance to buy one of the nicest 1853's in existence!
Unlike most of the MS65's and MS66's, we have ever seen, this coin has color-real color!
Both sides are highly lustrous. The surfaces have a small mark or two-but nothing big or unsightly. The texture is satiny. A gorgeous ring of baby blue frames the rims and opens into light tangerine/golden colored centers. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is totally outrageous!
PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 2 (ALL). The only coin this could possibly be replaced by would be a wild MS67 that would about $175,000.00-if it ever comes out of the collection it is in. The last NON CAC NON + one of these that sold in a major auction brought $27,600.00 05/2007 Heritage. You just do not see even average examples of these offered! We are not looking to get rich on this piece, just B/E. To buy these special coins you have to step up.

THE FINEST GRADED BY PCGS!
Sold on
03/2011
Here is a VERY rare opportunity to own a coin FINER than the one that is in our FINEST EVER set! This coin is more than worthy of its FINEST graded at PCGS designation!
We all know how 60O's come-baggy. Some how this coin was spared of most of the hits and is one of the cleanest 60O's you will EVER see. The only reason you see ANY ticks on this coin-the surfaces have bold semi-prooflike mirrors. A full booming luster also makes the surfaces really stand out. This is a natural off white coin that has never been dipped or messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is spectacular-especially for a 60O!
PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1 (there may be 4 NGC coins graded higher).
Legend Numismatics is proud to own and offer this coin at what we know to be a great price. We highly doubt you will ever get the chance to buy a similar coin. PCGS has had 25+ years of operations proving these just do not exist finer. If you buy the best, then this is your coin to own!

Scrutinize this coin as hard as you can. It really IS problem free!
If this were a 1932, it would easily be a MS65! Both sides are super clean and have a light satiny texture. A strong luster also shows off the beautiful orange gold color. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and fuly struck. The eye appeal is like the coin-exceptional!
PCGS 18, NGC 25, CAC 3. The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $16,100.00 05/09 Heritage. Opportunity knocks loud here!

A MONSTER PARTIAL RAINBOW!
Sold on
03/2011
This coin is from the same deal that years ago produced 14 MS69's! had the + not been invented, there probably would have been 20 MS69's now!!! This coin certainly could qualify.
Shimmering PERFECT surfaces are smooth and have ZERO impairments of any size anywhere. A full booming luster also shows off a jaw dropping partial rainbow of colors that pretty much frames the right side of the obverse. The reverse is electric reddish gold on the right side. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is beyond spectacular!
PCGS 12, NGC 0, CAC 37 (included non +). Once these are gone (and we are running out quickly) we doubt you will ever see other Mercs anywhere near the wild colors or quality these coins offer.

Using a strong glass you will NOT find any imperfections. The surfaces are satiny, smooth, and have a very strong luster. There are NO spots or discolorations. The color is a a slight two tone orange gold by the rims and deeper yellowish gold in the centers. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!

A MASTERPIECE FROM THE DEAL OF THE DECADE!
Sold on
03/2011
First, we must mention this coin did NOT CAC. Why? When compared to the other MONSTER Proofs in this deal, it is a little hazy w/light toning. All this coin needs is possibly a light dip. There really is NO reason why this coin should not CAC.
Awesome mirrors are amazingly clean and look like freshly made glass. There are NO problems anywhere. They are also deep, have surprising clarity, and are incredibly reflective. Both sides have a light natural golden brown haze/tint. This coin is worlds away from being dull or drab. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do have thick frost. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!
This coin is housed in a rarer older large "coffin" type green holder. It is pedigree from the California Collection. We elected not to send it for regrade and to keep it in this very rare and neat holder.
PCGS 7, NGC 6. This coin is still above and beyond what you typically see for PR68 Morgans!
THIS COIN IS NOT CAC STICKERED. LEGEND WILL STAND BEHIND IT FULLY.

HIGH END and housed in an older green tag holder.
We do grade this coin a + (but that is NO guarantee it ever will). Both sides have surfaces that do display 2-3" mirrors. They are clear, super clean, and have tremendous flash and luster. There are very few ticks-and no marks. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted a full snow white. her cheek definitely is NOT messed with. The features are all fully struck. The eye appeal is stunning!

A SOLID MS65+!
Sold on
03/2011
At least we grade the coin MS65+, PCGS does not. Regardless, it is as nice as the MS that just sold in Heritage for $48,875.00 at the Sacramento ANA show.
High end quality best describes this GEM. Using a strong glass, there are NO imperfections anywhere. The surfaces are semi-satiny and have a really strong luster. There are NO spots or stains. A faint trace of light gold can be detected. ALL of the details are well struck. The eye appeal is SUPERB!
PCGS 50, NGC 54, CAC 8. The last coin to sell in a major auction as a NON CAC piece which brought $34,500.00 1/10 Heritage. A CAC piece just sold for $48,875.00 at the ANA Mid winter show. Opportunity knocks loud here!
