50C HAWAIIAN COMMEM PCGS MS64+ GUTTAG FAMILY
  AMAZING COLORS!
Sold on 07/2012
Unquestionably, this coin is ULTRA HIGH END. We can't get PCGS to be sensible and let go of the darn + button. We have resubmitted this coin SEVERAL times as we are convinced it is a MS65+. We do not promise it will ever get in an MS65 holder, but in our opinion, its definitely better than an MS64!

As you would expect, this is NOT you classic dull puke green coin. Both sides are loaded with a nearly blinding booming luster. Even using a strong glass, all we can find are a scattered small line or two. There are NO marks. What is unusual for the coin is its killer colors. HI's do NOT come looking like this. The obverse is mother natures masterpiece. Vibrant shades of blue/reddish gold/lilac cover the entire obverse is a heart pounding fashion. The reverse is mostly white. All of the details are sharply struck and appear boldly. The eye appeal will blow you away!

PCGS 998, NGC 731, CAC 55. This is NOT a coin for a price buyer. If you seek a real colored HI that pops, then this is your coin. We paid $8,625.00 and have at least $1,000.00 in grading fees in it. We do know you can't find us another colored one like it (the other Guttag coin is the only one we've seen with similar colors).

For a sneak peak, go to PCGS cert verification: 20942332. The images does not capture the full colors, but you'll get the idea!

  ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
Sold on 07/2012
This is a stone virgin PERFECT SUPERB GEM!

It was easy for us to buy this coin. There are NO problems of ANY size ANY where. You do not have to look around and think ok, if this tick wasn't here or what if.... The surfaces are satiny smooth and have NEVER been messed with. A strong luster shows off the ORIGINAL creamy white/faint gold colors. Most important: Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike. Each rivet is clearly struck and is visible to the naked eye. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 60, NGC 60, CAC 8. The last one of these to sell in major auction auction brought $8,338.00 4/12 Heritage. This coin is still housed in its original green tag holder. We love it when they are so fresh and unmolested!

25C 1896 PCGS PR67 CAMEO
  SHIMMERING MIRRORS!
Sold on 07/2012
The rarity of this coin will surprise you. We are pleased to have a nice flashy example to offer!

Superior deep, clear, "and amazingly clean mirrors have bold reflectivity. There is a slight mist of frost/faint gold toning towards the peripheries. The mirrors do appear "water" but still blaze and are the type you will twirl for along time. Miss Liberty and the details are so sharp in strike they look sculpted. The details are coated in thick GEMMY creamy white frost. The eye appeal is fabulous!

ONLY 762 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 5, NGC 24, CAC 5. NO PCGS/CAC pieces has been sold in any major auction. A PCGS NON CAC NON Cameo piece is the last coin to sell-and that brought $6,900.00 back in 2008 Heritage. The last 67 DC to sell was back on 1/2011. These just do not appear often!

25C 1864 PCGS PR65 CAMEO
  VERY ELEGANT!
Sold on 07/2012
We certainly do not see many nice Civil War era Proofs anymore. Typically, they come dark and crusty. This coin has life, color, and is a real GEM Proof 65!

Super flashy mirrors are clean, sleek, clear, and have bold reflectivity. Even with a strong glass we did not see any minor imperfections. A beautiful color mix of ORIGINAL blue rims/tangerine/violet/gold centers covers both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have light color over them. The features are also sharply struck. The revers is full 66 quality. You'll love this coins flashy and colorful eye appeal!

ONLY 470 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 4, NGC 8, CAC 2. PCGS has ONLY one coin graded higher (a PR66). NO PCGS/CAC coins have ever been sold at public auction. A regular NON Cameo PCGS/CAC piece sold for $4,887.00 12/2010. We can not stress enough how greatly UNDER valued ALL PR NO MOTTO coins in GEM are.

  DEEPLY MIRRORED!
Sold on 07/2012
These are great coins - especially when they have full mirrors and look fantastic!

The mirrors are unquestionably deep, clear, clean, and have bold reflectivity. You can twirl this coin in your have forever and watch them flash. Some faint golden toning is scattered in the mirrors. Overall, the coin is really black and white. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have thick white frost. The eye appeal is definitely fantastic!

ONLY 846 were minted. PCGS 7, NGC 13, CAC 3. One sold in the 11/2011 Heritage auction for $3,565.00. We think these represent tremendous potential!

2C 1864 PCGS PR65RB SMALL MOTTO
  PHENOMENAL!
Sold on 07/2012
This is the third GEM Proof we have owned. We think this coin should have been a PR65+ RB-and we even resubmitted it. PCGS was extra tough here!

Both sides are amazingly clean. Using a powerful glass, you can NOT find ANY distractions of NY size, ANY where. The mirrors are crystal clear and do have strong reflectivity. No question the toning is ORIGINAL. However because it is slightly streaky that may be why PCGS refuses to designate it a higher grade. We think the toning is gorgeous. The colors are a rich violet/pale blue/mint red/gold mix. Every detail is frosted and has a needle sharp strike. The eye appeal is gorgeous!

LESS then 100 were minted. PCGS 2, NGC 3, CAC 1. A PR 64+RB sold for $97,750.00 11/11 Stacks. The coin we offered here we purchased 3/12 Stacks for $112,125.00. Compared to many other classic rarities, we feel this date (and grade) are extremely UNDERvalued.

Legend Numismatics is pleased to own and offer this magnificent specimen-a classic rarity and the ultimate PR 2C piece (ranked #77 in the top 100 Rarities book) for inclusion in your collection!

  STONE BOLD ORIGINAL!
Sold on 07/2012
One look and you can clearly tell this coin has never been dipped or messed with.

Crisp smooth surfaces are very satiny and clean overall. Even with a glass there are few tick or distractions. A strong luster shows off ORIGINAL faded gold colors. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is VERY pleasing!

PCGS 627, NGC 808, CAC 41. The last PCGS coin to sell in major auction was a NON CAC which brought $2,530.00 11/11 Heritage.

$1 1882CC PCGS MS65+ DMPL
  ULTRA DEEP 10[quotes] + MIRRORS!
Sold on 07/2012
Own this coin and you will NOT need fireworks on the 4th of July! WOW does this coin pop!

Full 10"+ mirrors seem to have endless depth. We rarely see mirrors like this on 82CC's. Of course with all the depth and clarity come a few ticks. Nothing serious, just some scattered about. Thats why the coin did not make full 66 DMPL. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick white frosting. Her check is clearly unmessed with. The eye appeal is drop dead AMAZING!

PCGS 346, NGC 130, CAC 20. In MS65+ PCGS has graded only 3 coins. Its really unfair to compare this coin to anything sold-it is that wild! If this was a 66 DMPL looking like this, it would easily be worth $10,000.00!

  ALMOST MS67!
Sold on 07/2012
The obverse grades FULL MS67! The reverse has some light streakiness and teenie toning dots. You really can not find much fault with this uber SUPERB GEM!

Sleek and amazingly clean surfaces are a joy to see. They have never been dipped or messed with. A killer full booming luster shows off light but deeper colored ORIGINAL gold. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 29, NGC 22, CAC 5. PCGS has graded NONE higher. The last PCGS/CAC piece to sell in a major auction brought $12,650.00 08/11 Heritage. A marginal NON CAC coin brought $6,325.00 1/12 Heritage. These are NOT as easy to find (at ALL) as you might think.

  INTENSELY LUSTROUS!
Sold on 07/2012
This is a VERY HIGH END coin that has an indisputable MAJOR WOW factor!

We just can't put it down. An intense luster not only lights up the room, but really shows off phenomenal totally ORIGINAL orange/yellow gold colors. There are No spots or discolorations. The surfaces are also satiny and have virtually NO marks. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. There is a teenie tick or two on the leg-but they are small and do NOT detract from the grade. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 1478, NGC 846, CAC 166. The current sightUNSEEN WHOLESALE BID is $3,600.00 for anything. If all MS66 23D's looked like thus, they'd easily be worth at least $5,000.00.
