$1 1877 PCGS MS65
  A REAL TRUE MS65!
Sold on 06/2012
Not only do we know our stuff on Trade Dollars, we have built the FINEST EVER sets in BOTH MS and Proof! NO dealer has more experience with this series than we do! So when we tell you this coin is a true GEM-trust us!

For an 1877, this coin has an usually strong luster. The surfaces are remarkably clean and smooth. both sides are covered by an even and totally ORIGINAL blanket of pewter/pale gold/rose/pale blue moderate colors. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is VERY pleasing!

PCGS 7, NGC 11, CAC 7. The last one to sell in major auction brought $19,550.00 4/12. That coin was darker than this. It is out VERY strong opinion any 1877 in PCGS MS65 should be worth $25,000.00-they are really rare!

We stand by this comment: There are a few MS65's that should NOT be graded MS65-they are really 64's. Seeking out every MS65 is something we did until last year-when we FINALLY found the perfect MS66 for our FINEST EVER MS Set! Opportunity knocks loud here: we know for a fact, your never going to get a finer 1877 MS TD!!!!

A NO NON SENSE SUPERB GEM!
Sold on 06/2012
We love it when these are fully ORIGINAL and totally SUPERB!

Both sides are remarkably clean and satiny smooth. Even the dreaded right field has NO hits of ANY size. A full booming luster shows off terrific silvery white colors. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal and quality are GREAT!

PCGS 342, NGC 536, CAC 118. We think that under $1,000.00 these represent great value.

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

  A NEAR MISS CAMEO!
Sold on 06/2012
PCGS was not in a grading mood when this coin came in. At the very least why isn't it a Cameo? We sure don't know!

Superior deep, crystal clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors cover all the surfaces. The mirrors are deep and look "watery". The color is a silvery white. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do have thick white frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!

ONLY 675 were minted. PCGS 18, NGC 19, CAC 5. Do not be fooled by the pops, this is a tough date to locate!

  WICKED NICE!
Sold on 06/2012
Not much keeps this beautiful coin from being a full blown MS67!

To the naked eye there are NO imperfections anywhere. Even with a strong glass its hard to find any. There is a small hidden obverse tick-which is what might keep this from MS67. The surfaces do offer a satiny texture and a strong luster. A wonderful moderate layer of blue/purple/golden brown colors circle and swirl all over both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are super frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 11, NGC 7, CAC 3. There are only 2 MS66+ graded by PCGS (and 6 MS67's). The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $5,175.00 1/2011-the same price as a regular MS66! An MS66 sold for $16,100.00 08/2011 Heritage. These definitely do not appear daily!

  REALLY ULTRA!
Sold on 06/2012
We ONLY buy these when they have NO haze and really fit the description! This coin is a TRUE SUPERB GEM DEEP CAMEO!

Incredibly "ice like" mirrors are miles deep, have amazing crystal clear clarity, are amazingly clean, and have killer reflectivity. You can see this coin from across the room! It has a full black and white appearance. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and ultra thick creamy white gorgeous frost. The eye overall eye appeal is nothing less than spectacular!

PCGS 7, NGC 7, CAC 3. The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $8,855.00 Heritage 4/12 (it was NOT this coin). We do very much believe coins like this (ALL PR BARBERS and PR STD's) are excellent values in today's market.

  SUPERB PERIPHERAL COLORS!
Sold on 06/2012
If you are building a SUPERB GEM Walker set and want coins with color, this coin WILL be a perfect fit!

To start, this coin is magnificent SUPERB GEM. The surfaces are velvety and reveal very few marks. A full glowing luster shows off crisp white centers. A sensational ring of ORIGINAL blue/gold/violet frames the outer peripheries only. Miss Liberty and the details are very frosty and have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal is beautiful!

PCGS 30, NGC 65, CAC 10. There are NO coins graded higher. We do consider this piece to be among the top for the grade! The last one of these to appear in major auction brought $4,888.00 3/12 Heritage. You definitely do NOT see PCGS/CAC coins offered with any frequency.

  VERY HIGH END QUALITY!
Sold on 06/2012
We really LOVE this near miss MS65. In our minds its clearly an MS64.9!

There are just a few VERY teenie ticks you can see. They are scattered about, yet overall the surfaces look clean. A full booming luster also shows of the beautiful deeper yellow gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are very frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 19, NGC 8, CAC 4 (w/NONE higher)! The ONLY CAC to ever appear in major auction brought $5,462.00 in 04/2011 Heritage. A PCGS NON CC piece last sold for $2,875.00 09/2011 Heritage. So as you can see, these 1889S pieces do NOT frequent the marketplace!

  BEAUTIFUL!!
Sold on 06/2012
VERY HIGH END QUALITY! This is actually a slightly cameoed GEM too!

Surprisingly strong semi-prooflike mirrors have great flash and beam with a booming luster. ONLY with a strong glass can you see a few minor ticks scattered around the fields. The color is a gorgeous natural deep yellow gold. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details look like they were sculpted. All the features also have heavy gold frost. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 40, NGC 57, CAC 6. Do not let the pops fool you, this date does NOT appear frequently! The ONLY CAC piece to ever auction brought $2,165.00 02/11 Heritage. The next step up (if you could find one CAC'd) would cost at least $6,000.00. Opportunity knocks loud here!

  SENSATIONAL!
Sold on 06/2012
We have not handled one of these in 3 full years. They have been impossible to come by. We have passed on several NON CAC coins as they were too low end. This coin is what we have been waiting for: A REAL GEM!

Absolutely flawless surfaces are also satiny smooth. A surprisingly strong luster shows off gentle pale pewter/gold ORIGINAL colors on both sides. The details are crisply struck. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 15, NGC 14, CAC 11. No PCGS/CAC pieces have been auctioned. The last PCGS coin to hit the block was back in 04/2009. That coin sold for $5,463.00 Heritage. Do NOT be fooled by the pops, this is date and grade are VERY hard to find!

  SUPER HIGH END!
Sold on 06/2012
PCGS showed this coin NO mercy. They didn't even + it. We can see no reason why it did not do at least that!

Ultra clean and sleek mirrors have depth and a glassy bold reflectivity. There are ZERO problems to be found anywhere. A totally ORIGINAL color mix of RD/green/gold/violet swirls on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do have thick frost. The looks of this coin-total EYE CANDY!

PCGS 35, NGC 38, CAC 3. The last coin to sell in a major auction was a NON CAC. It brought $776.00 11/2011 Stacks. This coin is superior and has really neat color!
