$2.5 1914 PCGS MS64
  TOTALLY ORIGINAL!
Sold on 08/2012
This date and grade is MUCH tougher to locate nice than the pops indicate. No question, this is a HIGH END piece.

Both sides ooze with totally originality. The surfaces have NO problems-even if you view them with a strong glass. A hint of faint toning frames the peripheries. The color is a deep gold. There are NO spots. All of the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is exceptional!

PCGS 317, NGC 398, CAC 28. The last PCGS/CAC pieces to sell in major auction brought $9,200.00 each 03+04/2012 Heritage. We paid strong to buy this piece because it was so nice. Keep in mind, the last PCGS/CAC MS65 to sell brought $48,875.00 1/2012 Heritage. Anyone building a $2.5 knows how rare this date and grade can be!

$20 1914 PCGS MS64+
  A REAL MS64+!!!!
Sold on 08/2012
Just a few VERY minor teenie ticks from being a full MS65! This coin is ULTRA high end!

Overall, this coin does appear VERY clean. Only with a strong glass can you see the ticks. The surfaces are super velvety. Both sides have what we call a "thick" luster. The color is an even ORIGINAL deeper yellow gold. Miss Liberty and the details are super frosty and have great strikes. The eye appeal is SUPER!

PCGS 439, NGC 335, CAC 31. PCGS has graded ONLY 10 coins MS64+. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $8,050.00 1/12. Keep in mind, than an PCGS/CAC MS 65 would cost you about $20,000.00.

1C 1857 FE PCGS MS65
  WICKED NEAT!
Sold on 08/2012
This is a coin that should be inspected in person. the image probably does not due it justice!

This is a HIGH END piece. There is a wicked cool die break in the center of the obverse. Never seen anything like it. The surfaces are super clean and smooth. There are NO flecks but light toning dots are scattered about. The luster is quite strong. ALL of the details are frosty and crisp strikes The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 197, NGC 211, CAC 25. The last PCGS/CAC piece to sell in a major auction brought $5,175.00 05/2012 Heritage. Unless you have unreasonable expectations, you WILL love this coin!

5C 1914 PCGS PR68
  THE FIRECRACKER 500!
Sold on 08/2012
WOW! This coin truly can be categorized as a MONSTER!

We know it was purchased directly from the US Mint and kept safely in its original papers by the family who bought it until late last year. The coin was graded by NGC then crossed recently (everyone knows PCGS does not cross anything) to PCGS. We call it the FIRECRACKER 500 because it is one explosive Nickel!

To start, this coin is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Use a neutron microscope and you will find no even a hint of any size impairment anywhere. The matte texture is fresh and bold. the obverse has a MONSTER FIRECRACKER color mix of gold/lilac while the reverse is mostly gold. Every detail is microscopic pinpoint sharp in strike. The eye appeal is JAW DROPPING PHENOMENAL!

If there ever was a REAL candidate for PR69, this coin is it-it is NOT IMPROVABLE!

PCGS 9, NGC 10, CAC 1. A NON CAC coin (not this one-and NOT even close in quality) was auction for $23,000.00 04/2009 Heritage. These have sold as high as $33,500.00 in recorded auctions. Rarely do these appear for sale. If you are a collector of the FINEST and most beautiful coins that exist-this coin is a MUST SEE!

$10 1803 PCGS AU53 EXTRA STAR
  A CHOICE AU PIECE!
Sold on 08/2012
Any Early $10 1803 piece is hard to find-let alone one that is very choice and has an added star!

Crisp and totally ORIGINAL surfaces reveal NO major flaws. Even with a strong glass you will not see anything remotely big. There are just a few lines and some light wear. The color is a deep gold which is framed by a reddish orange gold around the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. There is NO discoloration from wear on the high points. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 1. This i NOT an obscure variety. PCGS has graded 11 coins higher. This coin last sold in 2008 for $37,375.00 Goldberg. Opportunity knocks loud here for sure!

50C 1939 PCGS PR67
  TOTALLY ORIGINAL!
Sold on 08/2012
No question this coin is totally original and never has been dipped.

Deep, amazingly clean, and nicely reflective mirrors adorn both sides. A moderate layer of ORIGINAL "tissue paper" toning (pale golden brown) covers the surfaces. The coin is NOT dull or hazy. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is excellent!

PCGS 344, NGC 366, CAC 69.

50C 1893 PCGS PR66 DCAMEO
  SUPER MIRRORS!
Sold on 08/2012
What a picture perfect Deep Cameo!

Both sides have mirrors that glisten like a freshly formed sheet of ice. To the naked eye they are clean and clear. Only w/a strong glass can you see some faint lines. A light hint of gold frames the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and have thick snowy white frost. The features standout and look 3-D! The eye appeal is outstanding!

Only 792 were minted. PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 2. This is NOT a common Proof by any stretch. The last PCGS PR66 DC to sell (was not CAC) was back in 05/09 Goldberg. It brought $6,038.00 then. Recently, we sold a PCGS/CAC PR67 DC for well in excess of $20,000.00. Opportunity knocks loud for anyone seeking a superior Barber Proof Half Dollar.

50C 1925 HI PCGS MS66+
  PRETTY COLORS!
Sold on 08/2012
This is NOT your typical pea green ugly HI!

One thing is for sure, it has a monster luster you can see from across the room. The surfaces are smooth and are mark free. Both sides have a slightly mottoed ORIGINAL mix of reddish brown/purple/pale sea green/gold colors that all intermingle. Capt Cook and all of the features are are sharply struck and do standout. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 72, NGC 72, CAC 8. PCGS has graded only 3 MS66+ with just 2 higher (one we never liked). We can tell you, this is not your typical HI. Yes, it is the coin from the Heritage CSNS Sale that realized a cheap $15,525.00. Since both 67's are placed (and one would cost at least $60,000.00 today) we felt this coin was a bargain! Opportunity knocks loud if you are building a SUPERB Commem set!

$20 1909D PCGS MS66 EX DUCKOR
  AN AMAZING ORIGINAL GEM!
Sold on 08/2012
We are pleased to now own this remarkable coin. Due to our focus on so many other coins in the Duckor set, we kind of missed this one during the sale! Glad we had a second chance!

1909D Saints generally come either really nice or really like dreck. When you get to the higher grades, there are so few that are really nice. This coin was love at first sight. It is a coin we like to keep out and just stare at.

The surfaces are clean overall (a few ticks can be found w/a strong glass) and have a great satiny texture. An intense luster beams from all over. Totally ORIGINAL rich apricot/orange gold blend with hints of mint green. Miss Liberty and the details are remarkably struck and stand out. They are also frosty. The eye appeal is sensational!

PCGS 3, NGC 0, CAC 1 (with one higher). In the Duckor sale, this coin brought $80,500.00. We felt (and still do) this coin has the potential to be a $100,000.00 coin in a blink. Fortunately, the market for better Saints is not on fire making this a smart time to buy a better date and higher grade piece. We can't stress enough how loud opportunity knocks here!

$20 1908 N/M PCGS MS66+ WELLS FARGO
  SUPERB!
Sold on 08/2012
Since there are so many No Mottos slabbed, we do not buy them unless they are really special. This coin is really special and we had to include it in this set!

Remarkably clean and satiny surfaces dominate both sides. In fact, we can't stress enough how clean the surfaces are-you NEVER see Saints so clean! A strong luster also shows off beautiful totally ORIGINAL deep gold color. There are No spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have excellent strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 117 in MS66+. CAC has stickered only 70 pieces in all of MS66 grade. The sightUNSEEN WHOLESALE BID for an MS66+ is $3,850.00. At the show we were only able to buy TWO MS66+ pieces (this and the 1928 that's listed). These are NOT as easy to find as you think (we should know, we are major market makers in CAC MS66 Saints)!
