1C 1858 PCGS MS66 LARGE LETTERS
  PHENOMENAL QUALITY!
Sold on 02/2013
Amazing SUPER HIGH END quality! We never ever see these so nice! This coin is an an OGH and is fresh to the market.

This coin is a stone ORIGINAL GEM. The surfaces are pretty much immaculate. There are slight traces of prooflike mirrors that bond with a super strong luster. Some faint microscopic toning dots are scattered about. The color is a natural tan/pale gold. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and has light frost. The eye appeal is like the quality-AMAZING!

PCGS 26, NGC 21, CAC 4. PCGS has graded ONLY ONE coin higher. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $14,950.00-3 years ago in 01/2011 Heritage. This coin is really not comparable. Had this been offered in a major auction, you'd probably be paying much more than what we are asking. If you are building a SUPERB GEM FE or Type set, you MUST see this coin in person!

  A FABULOUS MS63!
Sold on 02/2013
NO one has handled more or knows more about MS Seated Dollars than we do. We can tell you, this is NO an easy date to find nice in MS. This coin was easy for us to buy as it is legitimately VERY choice.

Slight traces of semi-prooflike mirrors mix with a surprising strong luster. The surfaces appear clean to the naked eye. Only with a strong glass can you see scattered teenie ticks. The surfaces are evenly coated by a totally ORIGINAL mix of pewter/gray/pale blue. This is NOT a dull or drab coin! Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do have light frost. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 10, NGC 4, CAC 3. PCGS has only graded TWO coins higher-and we fully dispute the pop of 10 in MS63. Also, we can assure you that CAC is extra tight on what it beans for MS Sated Dollars. Opportunity knocks loud for the serious Seated Dollar Collector.

  NEARLY ULTRA CAMEO!
Sold on 02/2013
Had this been in the Dallas ANA Sale, it would have brought $2,500.00 easy! Seems Liberty proof Nickels with REAL deep mirrors like this are in hot demand.

No fibbing when we say the mirrors are borderline ultra deep. All you see is the deep back chrome look when you tilt it. The mirrors have incredible clarity, cleanliness, and of course killer reflectivity. The only lines you will see are on the holder! Miss Liberty and the details are frosted white and have needle sharp strikes. Your eyes will pop out when they see this sparkler!

PCGS 13, NGC 7, CAC 7. Surprisingly the last one sold back in 4/2011 for $1,438.00 Heritage. Oh how the market has changed since then!

  HIGH END!
Sold on 02/2013
This is a really NICE and VERY HIGH END GEM!

Both sides are exceedingly clean and sleek. Only the most microscopic ticks can be found with a strong glass. An intense luster nearly blinds you. The surfaces are a frosty white. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do have thick frost. Her cheek clearly is not messed with. The eye appeal is marvelous!

PCGS 47, NGC 34, CAC 142 (ALL). Keep in mind, the next step up costs OVER $7,500.00 easy when you can even find one!

  OUTSTANDING!
Sold on 02/2013
This is clearly and above average piece. Its totally ORIGINAL and not washed out or dull like so many come.

Exceptional surfaces are satiny and appear smooth. To the naked eye the coin appears clean. Very interesting that with a strong glass you can see light raised die polishing lines in a few protected areas. A full booming luster shows off light ORIGINAL golden brown/olive toning that hugs parts of the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have really sharp strikes (you do not need a glass to see anything). The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 41, NGC 41, CAC 11. The last PCGS/CAC piece to sell in major auction brought $4,600.00 06/12 heritage. We promise, this coin is FULL Legend quality-you won't be disappointed!

EXACTLY LIKE IT LEFT THE MINT!
Sold on 02/2013
Some one must have gotten this coin from the Mint or bank and safely stored it until now. There is no question it has never been touched or messed with!

"As struck" to us means, the coin is untouched and has the following qualities: ZERO impairments, a glowing luster, total ORIGINALITY, all of the details are fully struck. You don't have to imagine this or that about the quality. Both sides are mostly white with a hint of toning by the rims only. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 113, NGC 72, CAC 21 (ALL). PCGS has only graded TWO coins in MS66+ FH. This coin sold for $5,875.00 11/15/2012 Heritage. Keep in mind, a PCGS/CAC MS67 will cost at least $10,000.00-if you can find any!

  OUTSTANDNG!
Sold on 02/2013
What a great coin!

Superior deep, clear, clean, and intensely reflective mirrors beam from all over. Not a single problem can be found anywhere. The obverse is covered by a gorgeous totally ORIGINAL mix of olive/violet/blue, while the reverse has those colors mostly on the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. This is a great looking GEM!

Only 792 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 14, NGC 21, CAC 9. We think these represent excellent value in today's market. The mintage is finite and so is the supply of higher grade survivors!

  SUPER HIGH END!
Sold on 02/2013
LOVE this GEM! Its definitely SUPER HIGH END. Hard to believe this coin sat on the ocean floor for a 100+ years!

Only a few super light cuff/frost breaks (and a teenie tick) keep this coin from being a full MS65. To the naked eye it does look clean and satiny smooth overall. The luster is surprisingly strong. Both sides have that gorgeous bold yellow gold color in the centers with highlights of orange by the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have exceptional strikes. On the reverse there is an interesting group of die cracks by the lower rims (we have not noticed them on other coins). The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 128, NGC 57, CAC 17 (CAC has beaned only ONE coin higher). This is an ORIGINAL "Bro Jo" coin. It has the ship on the label as well as the coin number (hidden by the bean). This is not a re stripped or upgraded coin. The last one to sell in major auction was a NON CAC piece. It brought $17,825.00 9/12 Goldberg. Opportunity can't knock any louder if you want a real and rare treasure Ship coin!

Legend Numismatics is a major market maker for these when they have the ORIGINAL PCGS labels. We have NOT owned an MS64 since early 2011!

  TREMENDOUS QUALITY!
Sold on 02/2013
A standout SUPERB GEM!

We saw this coin from across the room. It has an intense luster. The surfaces are smooth, satiny, and have no major problems. Both sides are an even ORIGINAL pale orange/gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 25, NGC 28, CAC 9. This is the ONLY MS66+ graded by PCGS. Coins like this took a slight tumble last year in sympathy with the price of gold dropping. They'll be back up as their numismatic values are far greater then "guilt by association" of gold.

Not an easy date or grade to find nice!

Sleek and glass like mirrors adorn both sides. They are clean overall. Only with a really strong glass can you see a few hidden lines. The mirrors are also deep and have bold refelctivity. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have extra sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!
