$1 1928S PCGS MS64+
JUST SHY OF MS65!
Sold on
01/2012
What keeps this awesome coin from a full MS 65 designation? All we can see if MINOR softness of the strike. Otherwise, this coin has the cleanliness and character for a MS65.
Both sides are remarkably clean and smooth. An intense full booming snowy white luster beams from all over the coin. Miss Liberty and the details are about 95-98% fully struck. They also are fully frosty. If you know your 28S $1, you will be greatly impressed by this coin. The eye appeal is AWESOME!
PCGS 53, NGC 13, CAC 97 (ALL). The last one to sell brought $2,185.00 11/11 Heritage. next step up looking like this is $20,000.00++++! Good luck finding one!

GORGEOUS COLORS!
Sold on

You can hold this jewel arms length and turn the lights out and still see all the flash and colors. The mirrors are deep, clean, clear, and have super reflectivity. Heart pounding shades of blue/purple/gold/green fully cover the obverse and the peripheries of the reverse. All of the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and are lightly frosted. The eye appeal has a major WOW factor!

A FROSTY WHITE SOLID GEM!
Sold on
01/2012
Love this coin as a real MS65. There is a small tick in the right obverse field, but overall, the surfaces are clean and smooth. both sides are satiny and do emit a strong luster. The color is an ORIGiNAL white. Miss Liberty and the details are show full skirt lines and a split thumb. The eye appeal is really nice!
PCGS 17, NGC 13, CAC 2 (CAC has beaned only ONE coin higher). A NON CAC PCGS MS65 sold the 11/11 Heritage sale for $2,300.00. Good luck finding theother CAC piece (the lone coin higher we placed in the finest Walker collection).

If you buy only real black and white DMPLs then this coin is for you! Both sides have fully deep, clear, and incredibly reflective mirrors. There are light teenie ticks scattered about. None are serious or stand out. Miss Liberty and the details are fully frosted and have full stand out strikes. The eye appeal is super flashy!
PCGS 204, NGC 122, CAC 17. We did buy this coin out of auction, and feel our mark up is more than fair.

VERY HIGH END!
Sold on
01/2012
Anytime the dreaded right field is super clean and smooth, you know you have a high end coin! This coin is VERY high end and does border on MS66.
As mentioned, this coin displays outstanding cleanliness. Even with a strong glass you'll marvel at how clean the coin is. The surfaces are almost semi prooflike. A full booming luster shows off a very faint hint of gold on the right obverse. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 153, NGC 125, CAC 19. In 2011 auctions, CAC beaned coins have sold from $2,915.00 to $4,025.00. Opportunity knocks loud if you are a serious Walker collector!

LOOKS BETTER THEN SOME MS 65'S!
Sold on
01/2012
We've seen several MS65's that do not look as good as this coin! No way will this coin MS65, though, its a really nice MS64.7+!
Only a few scattered extremely trivial ticks on the reverse are what keep this from being a $14,000.00 coin. Overall, the surfaces appear clean and smooth. A full booming luster shows off beautiful even gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. ALL of the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 341, NGC 387, CAC 24. The last NON CAC to sell brought $3,896.00 09/2011 Heritage. We will sell this for the proper amount!

A PERFECT SNOWY WHITE GEM!
Sold on
01/2012
WOW! We sure don't see too many blast white SUPER high end coins like this any offered any more!
We used our strongest glass and studied all over the surfaces. We could not find ANY significant problems. The surfaces do have a strong satiny texture. A full booming luster dramatically shows off the hard white color. Miss Liberty and the details are absolutely fully struck. Can't tell what keeps this GEM from a MS67FH designation. The eye appeal is awesome!
PCGS 65, NGC 67, CAC 12. This is the ONLY MS66+ FH graded by PCGS. Its equal to ANY MS67FH. Seeing is believing!

A NEAR MISS MS67!
Sold on
01/2012
Just a teenie bit nicer, and this coin would be worth $6,000.00+!
Only a few microscopic lines and ticks are scattered around and are well hidden. To the naked eye this coin does look clean overall. The surfaces are sleek and have a full booming luster. both sides are a snowy white-and are NOT dipped out. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. Her cheek is totally original and is unmessed with. The eye appeal is really super!
PCGS 1087, NGC 873, CAC 121. There are only 25 coins graded 66+ by CAC. Currently there is a piece in the Heritage sale and its already bid up to $1,840.00. This piece is a touch nicer!

VERY HIGH END!
Sold on
01/2012
Having bought and worked on the all time finest $10 Liberty Collection EVER (the Hall/Simpson set), we know how these do NOT come-nice! This coin was an easy buy as it borders full MS65!
Just a few trivial ticks scattered about along with light frost breaks keep this coin from costing over $25,000.00 (and being only the 2nd MS65). A super strong luster shows off unquestionable ORIGINAL yellow gold surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp strikes. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 98, NGC 394, CAC 9 (ALL). There are only 3 PCGS MS64+ graded. We are pleased to own and offer this wonderful $10 Liberty for your consideration.

$1 1926D PCGS MS66+
This is a real borderline MS67 piece! It is a pop 1. The next step up is worth at least $37,500.00-if you can even find one!
We had no problem at all agreeing with the grade. There are one or two teenie microscopic ticks scattered about-but none are really problematic or affect the grade. You really need a glass to see them. Both sides are blessed with a full booming cartwheel type luster. The surfaces are blazing snowy white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous!
PCGS 169, NGC 99, CAC 25 (all). THIS IS THE ONLY MS66+ graded by PCGS or NGC. Apparently it sold for $4,025.00 08/11 in heritage. We think that was steal (we did not buy it from the auction). We paid $5,000.00 at Baltimore and will sell it for a price we think is super reasonable. Opportunity knocks loud here!
