10C 1872 PCGS PR64
  BEAUTIFUL!
Sold on 02/2014
Are we the only ones who think a great coin like this priced BELOW $1,000.00 is steal??

Terrific deep, crystal clear, and boldly reflective mirrors really can wake you up. Only if you use a strong glass will you find some minor ticks and giggles spread out. Both sides are a gorgeous and totally ORIGINAL royal blue/rose/gold/green mix of colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is super!

ONLY 950 were minted. PCGS 50, NGC 32, CAC 4. This definitely is NOT as common of date as you might think. There are NO records of any PCGS CAC pieces ever selling at auction!

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

J- 979 50C 1870 PCGS PR65 CAMEO
  GODZILLA!
Sold on 02/2014
This is an R-7 (4 to 12 known) example of the Liberty Cap design struck in aluminum. The quality is SUPER HIGH END!

You will not find mirrors any deeper, clearer, cleaner, or more reflective even on a PR Morgan! We can't get over the the mirrors. Aluminum pieces usually have some kind of dullness and planchet problems-this coin does not. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have thick white frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. This coin last sold in auction for $8,225.00 08/2013 Heritage and prior to that, way back in 1990-when this coin sold for $6,600.00. The Judd book estimates the value at $10,000.00. We agree, as this coin has an out of control coolness factor!

REALLY A PROOF LARGE CENT STRUCK IN NICKEL!
Sold on 02/2014
This coin is a R-6 (13-30 minted). It is a 10C pattern. Did the early minters ever mess around? WOW, they tried all kinds of neat designs and metals. This coin is basically Proof Large Cent struck in Nickel. Its too wicked cool!

Surprising mirrors are deep, clear, super clean, and have strong reflectivity (some thing you rarely see on large size nickel pieces). This coin does have light contrast. There is a blush of light gold toning and the surfaces are original. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is incredible!

PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2. We are not sure if 2 exist. Even if they so, so? This is one ultra rare and wicked neat pattern!

50C HUDSON PCGS MS67
  A BEAUTIFUL COIN!
Sold on 02/2014
Hudsons are one of the most underrated Commems in existence! They are very rare in true SUPERB GEM like this. This piece really does make the grade!

Virtually flawless surfaces are incredibly smooth and do emit a strong luster. Just a tiny light frost break is all you can find if you use a powerful loop. Both sides have moderate shades of totally ORIGINAL lavender (NOT DULL at ALL) and gold/violet. A surprisingly booming luster brings out the colors and the coins impressive qualities. All of the details are VERY well struck. There is NO softness on the face. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 10, NGC 30, CAC 2. The last one to sell in auction was a PCGS NON CAC piece. That brought $14,100.00-but was not anywhere near the quality of this magnificent coin. If you are picky and know your Commems, then this coin will be most appreciated! Our price is more then reasonable when you view the coins tremendous qualities.

H.01 1846 RESTRIKE REV 1840 PCGS PR65BN MISSOURI
  SUPERB!
Sold on 02/2014
This was one of the few Restrikes we focused on buying from day one. Not only is the quality all there, but how often can you recall EVER seeing ANY 1846 GEM Proof copper? Hardly ever!

A partial copy of the Missouri description: "The obverse is bluish steel brown with faded mint red in the protected areas while the reverse is golden light brown. The fields are nicely reflective with moderate to deep mirrors on both sides. There is a small spot of darker toning close over the inner hair bun and a smaller speck low on the neck over the bust, plus another in the field below the chin. Excellent eye appeal in spite of the trivial defects". They go on to discuss the extra thick planchet.

We'd like to to add, the details are needle sharp and have light frost. The color is completely ORIGINAL. This coin looks great and is a true GEM by anyone's tough standards!

It is estimated LESS then 20 pieces were struck. PCGS 3, NGC 2, CAC 2. This the first time ANY GEM 1846 H.01 Proof has sold at auction. Back in 2011 at Stacks, a PR64 sold for $8,050.00. If you love PR half Cents, this is a tremendous value and a tremendous specimen!

Sold on 02/2014
This is NOT an easy date or grade to find true NICE specimens in!
