50C 1925 STONE MOUNTIAN PCGS MS67
  BEAUTIFUL PEARLY COLORS!
Sold on 02/2013
We could not put this coin down! Its not wildly colored, but it has a different type of "pearly" color that's makes it super pretty!

Super smooth and remarkably clean surfaces cover both sides. A full booming luster brings out really neat pearl colors of ORIGINAL gold/pale violet/pale green/pale blue that swirl all over. All of the details are sharply struck and boldly stand out. The eye appeal is mesmerizing!

PCGS 161, NGC 144, CAC 31. These are NOT as common as you'd think! The last one to sell in major auction brought $2,820.00 9/12 Heritage.

  HIGH END!
Sold on 02/2013
Saw this remarkable piece and had to buy it! We can not stress enough how RARE a true CHOICE 1884S is. This date (like so many others) has been a sad victim of gradeflation.

We have seen many higher grade COMMON dates that are not as clean. PCGS seems to use a different standard for rarities. The surfaces are also semi-prooflike and emit a strong luster. Both sides have a totally ORIGINAL reddish gold mix that's starts at the rims and blends into light gold/creamy white centers. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have FULL strikes, This coin definitely has never been messed with. We grade the reverse MS63++. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 42, NGC 44, CAC 4. The last two pieces to sell in major auctions brought $44,062.00 10/2012 and $48,875.00 07/2012 Heritage (don't think this was a yearly occurrence - the next closest sale to these is 2010)!

For any building a CHOICE to GEM Morgan Set, we can't scream at you loud enough how rare this date is in TRUE MS63 and higher. Legend Numismatics is pleased to own and offer this lovely 1884S Morgan to collectors.

  SUPER HIGH END!
Sold on 02/2013
What are we missing here? We have tried this coin 3x (yes we really did) for an MS65BN. We do not see what is holding it back.

Superior surfaces are clean and smooth. Only with a really strong glass can you find a few scattered light lines. There are NO spots or stains. The luster is surprisingly strong and does look a little glossy. Both sides are a gorgeous deeper ORIGINAL brown color. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharply struck. The eye appeal is awesome!

PCGS 16 (which is probably off by 4), NGC 17, CAC 3. Yes, we screwed up the pops on this coin! The last one of these to sell in a major auction brought $7,475.00 9/12 Stacks. We can not stress enough how rare this date and grade are. Opportunity knocks extra loud here for the picky Half Cent collector!

  VERY PRETTY!
Sold on 02/2013
We purchased this excellent example of a 162 year old coin the second we saw it. Can't beat the quality!

Both sides are satiny and are surprisingly clean overall. A strong luster shows off beautiful ORIGINAL yellow gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and sharply struck. The eye appeal is excellent!

PCGS 37, NGC 36, CAC 7. Not exactly a common date. The last PCGS/CAC coin sold in auction for $1,955.00 12/2010 Heritage. Opportunity definitely knocks loud here!

  AN AMAZING SPECIMEN!
Sold on 02/2013
We hold ourselves to VERY high standards-especially for Morgans. We do nto just take PCGS or CAC's word-we have our own strict standards!

This is an outrageously amazing coin. You can examine it for hours with a strong glass and find not even the teeniest problem. The surfaces are amazingly smooth and clean. A full booming luster illuminates a groovy mix of reddish gold/gold that quasi blankets the obverse and the peripheries of the reverse. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal of this coin is dazzling!

PCGS 26, NGC 8, CAC 7. Back in 2011 an MS66 sold for $14,950.00 Stacks. Fast forward-NONE have been for sale since!

1C 1856 PCGS MS66RB SLANTED 5

Sold on 02/2013
We grade this coin a lock MS67RB! PCGS does NOT. You have to examine it to firm your own opinion!

Incredible surfaces are pristine and have a semi satiny texture. There is not a minute fleck, spot, or stain anywhere. An really bold luster also shows off awesome ORIGINAL Mint Red/pale brown colors that swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have remarkable full strikes. There is some minor weakness in the stars from uneven striking pressure. We think that is what keeps this coin from being an MS67RB. The eye appeal is incredible!

PCGS 2, NGC 3, CAC 3 (we think this coin was beaned twice). Back in 2009 one sold for $2,300.00 Goldberg-which was a ridiculous steal. There is NO such thing as a finer 1856!

  SUPERB!
Sold on 02/2013
We are highly suspect this coin came out of an ORIGINAL matched Proof set we saw years ago. We certainly hope our gut feeling is not true. Regardless, this is a VERY neat coin!

Superior deep, clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors beam from all over. Only with a strong glass can you see light die polishing lines on the reverse. A totally ORIGINAL mix of dove gray/pale olive/pale violet colors which are NOT dull or drab cover 2/3 of the coin. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted a silvery white and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is terrific!

Only 460 were ever minted. PCGS 3, NGC 3, CAC 2. Think hard about those numbers-after 25+ years and millions of coins, that's it???? No PCGS/CAC coin has been auction. A NON CAC sold for $11,750.00 Stacks 2011. These are NOT common Proofs!

10C 1896 PCGS PR64 CAMEO
  SUPERB!
Sold on 02/2013
Bold high end quality!

This is a real cameo-not one that's merely on the holder. Deep glittering mirrors are clean, clear, and have bold reflectivity. A trivial line or two is visible ONLY with a strong glass. A moderate coating of ORIGINAL reddish/gold frames the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details standout with crisp strikes and thick frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!

ONLY 762 were ever minted. PCGS 12, NGC 11, CAC 6. Priced at below $1,000.00 how can this not be considered a MUST buy?

  FROSTY!
Sold on 02/2013
Frosty and totally ORIGINAL!

Both sides offer incredibly clean and satiny surfaces. A full booming luster shows off beautiful ORIGINAL snowy white color. There are more problems on the holder than the coin! Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have thick white frost. The eye appeal is beautiful!

PCGS 1417, NGC 1224, CAC 157. PCGS has graded 60 coins MS66+. The last one that sold in major auction brought $1,840.00 6/12 Heritage.

  A GEMMY ORIGINAL COIN!
Sold on 02/2013
This is a super rare NOT dipped coin!

First, the surfaces are super clean and smooth. Only a light frost break or two can be seen. The luster is strong and nicely shows off totally ORIGINAL light pewter/silver surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is very pleasing!

PCGS 450, NGC 150, CAC 26. The last PCGS piece (a NON CAC) to sell in major auction brought $1,880.00 11/12 Stacks.
