  SUPER FLASHY MIRRORS!
Sold on 09/2012
Yet another near miss Cameo. PCGS has definitely tightened up on that designation!

Shimmering mirrors are boldly reflective. They are also crystal clear and clean. Some reddish gold/navy/auburn colors frame parts of the outer rims only. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have completely full strikes. The eye appeal is beautiful we have had problems putting this coin down! Its one of these you can twirl in your hands forever!

Only 727 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 28, NGC 36, CAC 6. This is not an easy date or grade to locate.

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

5C 1886 PCGS MS65
  SEMI-PROOFLIKE!
Sold on 09/2012
This is the first truly semi-prooflike 1886 MS piece we have handled. Its pretty neat!

You can see numerous die polishing lines under a strong glass. It is definitely a Mint State coin. Overall, the surfaces are VERY clean. An intense luster shows off the light mirrors and even nickel color. There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and are well struck. The eye appeal is pretty cool!

PCGS 33, NGC 26, CAC 4. NO PCGS/CAC pieces have sold in auctions. A NON CAC piece sold for $6,038.00 04/12 Heritage. If your building a set of these in MS, you know what a "stopper" this date is in MS65 and higher.

  WHAT A GREAT LOOKING GEM!
Sold on 09/2012
Love the look of this GEM!

Both sides are super satiny and appear quite smooth. A strong luster shows off super clean surfaces. There is a light tint of ORIGINAL rainbow gold/pale violet on the lower right rims. The balance is silvery white. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 169, NGC 74, CAC 21. The last PCGS/CAC piece to sell in major auction brought $3,738.00 4/12 Heritage. This is NOT an auction!!!!

  OUTRAGEOUS QUALITY!
Sold on 09/2012
We actually thought this coin was well deserving of a +, obviously PCGS had the machine off the day this coin arrived! We all have seen some interesting coins with a +! This coin is from the #1 PCGS/CAC Morgan set we are building. It was replaced with the Battle Born PCGS/CAC MS68.

Everything out this coin is phenomenal. it has killer near full prooflike mirrors. The luster is high voltage intensity all over. Even more surprising, the surfaces have just a few ticks-but are incredibly clean. No question this coin is fully ORIGINAL. The obverse is frosty white while the reverse has ORIGINAL deep rainbow like toning. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. Her cheek is super clean. The eye appeal is tremendous! One look and you will see what until the MONSTER MS68 came along-this was our coin!

PCGS 137, NGC 134, CAC 27. This piece is seriously superior to 95% of all 83CC MS67's!

  A STONE BOLD ORIGINAL CHERRY!
Sold on 09/2012
We bought this coin immediately after a careful inspection. It ranks as one being in the top 5% of the grade to us!

You really have to look hard and long for minor things. There is a small toning fleck on the reverse (which proves its originality). A very good luster beams from all over. Both sides are a totally ORIGINAL sandy golden brown color. Every detail is pinpoint sharp in strike. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 197, NGC 211, CAC 26 (only one bean higher). The last PCGS/CAC to sell in major auction brought a strong sum of $5,175.00 5/12 Heritage. Prior to that one brought $4,312.00 4/12 Heritage. This coin certainly is worth what we are offering it at!

  TOTALLY ORIGINAL!
Sold on 09/2012
Not quite like the stunning MS66 that was displayed at the show - nevertheless, this is a heck of an AU!

Highlighting this piece is the fact it does have a decent luster, while not booming you do see glimpses. The surfaces are clean overall to the naked eye. Of course there are some teenie scattered ticks. The color is a semi dirty gold/orange gold. There are NO spots. We do not think this coin has been dipped-it certainly has NOT been messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 13, NGC 21, CAC 3. This coin did NOT come out of any auction. It is fresh to the market. The current Collects Universe Price guide is $11,000.00-but we paid more than that! Opportunity Knocks loud for the serious early gold enthusiast!

10C 1893 PCGS PR64 CAMEO
  DEEPLY MIRROED!
Sold on 09/2012
Only with a glass you will see a small tick and scuff on the face-and thats it. This coin is borderline full PR65 Cameo!

Superb mirrors are super deep, have bold clarity, are clean, and have strong reflectivity. A touch of auburn frames part of the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are fully frosted and have pinpoint sharp strikes. The eye appeal is terrific!

ONLY 792 pieces were minted. PCGS 13, NGC 7, CAC 5. This fits our "under 1000 minted, under $1,000.00 cost" good value ideology. These are not as easy to find as you might think!

  WOW, WOW, WOW!
Sold on 09/2012
One look and it is easy to why we rank this coin in the top 2% of all MS66's that are graded! The + is MORE than deserved here!

Nearly perfect surfaces (there is always something microscopic) are a joy to see. They are satiny smooth and radiate with a strong luster. The color is a totally ORIGINAL and is a creamy whit. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. Her cheek is amazingly clean and fully rounded. The eye appeal is PHENOMENAL!

PCGS 658, NGC 627, CAC 66. In mS66+ PCGS has graded 31 pieces. Keep in mind, this coin is a fraction of a point away from being an MS67. MS67's trade for nearly $20,000.00-if you can even find one!

THE SILENT STOPPER OF THE SERIES!
Sold on 09/2012
As baby dealers, we cut our teeth building the all time finest EVER MS+PR Trade Dollar sets. So we know what does and does not come nice or come around at all! 1877 is really a "silent stopper" for the series.

First, this coin does have strong mirrors. A moderate mix of ORIGINAL "old time" colors of totally ORIGINAL (and NOT hazy) lavender/blue/gold/purple/rose all swirl vividly and evenly on both sides. The mirrors are clearly visible. There are NO problems anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have creamy thick frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!

ONLY 510 pieces were minted. PCGS 16, NGC 14, CAC 3 (only one coin higher). Interesting that NO PCGS/CAC piece has ever sold at auction. Common dates have sightUNSEEN WHOLESALE BIDS of $8,500.00 for anything. This is NOT a common date! The Collectors Universe Value is $12,500.00

  A TRULY SUPERB GEM!
Sold on 09/2012
Sadly, this is such a forgotten date and grade. How cool is to see a real GEM coin that's 138 years old and look like new?

A booming intense luster shows off velvety smooth and overall problem free surfaces. Both sides are a frosty white-there is a faint hint of gold by the reverse rims. The coin does not look dipped out-in fact if it was dipped, it was long ago as this coin is in a older green tag holder. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 37, NGC 20, CAC 5. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $8,050.00 06/11 Heritage. PCGS has possibly graded 4 coins higher. Regardless, it is not a date or grade you see with any frequency. Opportunity knocks loud here for any serious Type or Seated Quarter collector!
