20C 1877 PCGS PR66
  FABULOUS!
Sold on 02/2013
Legend Numismatics is proud to own and offer this magnificent GEM PROOF. It has every quality one would demand for SUPERB status!

Deep and glittering mirrors are super clean, sleek, have remarkable clarity, and are highly reflective. You can see the flash from across the room. No question this coin was stored in tissue paper or some kind of box for a very long time. Totally ORIGINAL moderate toning consists of: navy/violet/tangerine/dove gray/pale olive. The reverse has the most vibrant colors (note: this is NOT a dull or drab coin). Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!

This is a PROOF ONLY date with just 350 minted. PCGS 12, NGC 20, CAC 4. Neither PCGS or CAC have graded ANY higher. NO PCGS/CAC coins have been in auction. In fact the last 1877 PCGS PR66 to be in auction brought $19,550.00-in 09/2007 Heritage. Ya think these are rare??? Current price guides are just stupid since NONE have traded in 5+ years! We salivate at what a coin like this would bring in a major auction today. But that's not quite our game. We want to own this coin again down should its new owner ever sell this numismatic treasure.

1C 1830 PCGS MS66BN N-3 NAFTZGER
  AN AMAZING GEM!
Sold on 02/2013
You will never see a finer 1830 1C. It really has no right to exist!

The luster is mind-blowing intense. You can search all your numismatic career and never find another 1830 so wild. This coin has generous portions of GEM Mint Red around the devices. The surfaces are ridiculously perfect and smooth. There is a really cool die break through the stars. Both sides are a totally ORIGINAL Mint RD/chocolate brown color. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have delicate frost. Your eyes will pop out and roll when they see this monster.

PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 2. Forget about when this coin was sold at Naftzger-they were given away (ask anyone there) as the auction took place at the very wrong time and then the internet broke. We think a coin like this should be worth multiples more. There are so few that exist that are even remotely close in quality. the Naftzger Collection absolutely contained the FINEST MS Large cents. We are pleased to own and offer this incredibly 1830. For a sneak peak, visit PCGS cert verification: 13079826

1C 1848 PCGS MS65RD N-9 NAFTZGER
  AN AMAZING SPECIMEN!
Sold on 02/2013
Yet another coin we have sat back waiting to buy again. We got whiffed on this coin at the original Naftzger sale. We did buy the other 1848 in MS65RD, but we have always felt this coin was a touch nicer.

This coin looks like a GEM RED from the 1850's, not the 1840's. The surfaces are perfect and are smooth. A bold luster beams from all over. A small cut on the neck is hidden and is all that keeps this coin from a ful MS66RD grade. Both sides have totally ORIGINAL GEM MINT RED colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full crisp strikes. Like all Naftzger coins, the eye appeal is phenomenal!

PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 2. Back in 2009 in the original Naftzger sale, this coin brought $25,300.00. We still think that was cheap then and is still cheap now. Once these Naftzger coins are sold, good luck on finding anything remotely similar!

10C 1942 PCGS PR68
  BEAUTIFUL COLOR!
Sold on 02/2013
We looked at this coin as long and hard as we could (using a strong glass)-there are NO marks of ANY size, ANY where! The mirrors are crisp, deep, clear, and have bold reflectivity. A gorgeous ORIGINAL light to moderate mix of lemon/pearl green/gold colors swirl around parts of the obverse. The reverse has some light gold. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is beautiful!

PCGS 41, NGC 130, CAC 23. The last one to sell in a major auction was a PCGS/NON CAC. It brought $2,585.00 9/12 Heritage. The last CAC to sell brought $2,760.00 1/12 Heritage. No question this coin is worth at least that!

25C 1909 PCGS PR65 CAMEO
  DEEPLY MIRRORED!
Sold on 02/2013
There are more minor issues with the holder than the coin!

No question this piece borders on Deep Cameo. The mirrors are endless, super clean, have crystal clear clarity, and are highly reflective. They look deeper than most 8" DMPLs'! both sides are untoned and have outstanding black and white contrast. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and thick snowy white frost. The eye appeal is bold!

Only 650 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 10, NGC 11, CAC 2. We can't find any auction records for a PCGS/CAC coin selling. Regardless, we strongly believe that at what we are asking, this coin is a great value!

$5 1859 PCGS AU58
  TOTALLY ORIGINAL!
Sold on 02/2013
Numbers don't lie here, this is an incredibly RARE and tremendously UNDER-valued coin! It is also a GEM ORIGINAL AU58!

Absolutely graded right, this coin has NO problems. Only with a strong glass can you see a few light lines. The wear is really invisible and light. Both sides exhibit luster and traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. There is a touch of light "dirty" gold toning. This coin has never been dipped or was played with. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is great!

Look at these numbers: PCGS 6, NGC 13, CAC 2. PCGS has only ONE coin higher (an MS62) and CAC has beaned NONE. Think about that, after 25+ years of operations, PCGS at most has 6 AU58's and only higher? Sounds like this should be a $10,000.00 coin! The last one of these to make an appearance at auction-was back 7 years ago in 2006! If you collect Liberty Gold, this is a piece you may never see again!

  SHEER PERFECTION!
Sold on 02/2013
We love everything about this ORIGINAL and fiery SUPERB GEM!

Shimmering mirrors are deep, have ultra crystal clear clarity, are problem free, and have bold reflectivity. The colors are ORIGINAL pale MINT RD/gold. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have pinpoint sharp strikes. This coin definitely is a piece of eye candy!

PCGS 2, NGC 5, CAC 2 (we think its this coin twice). PCGS has graded one PR67+ and one PR68 (WOW). Good luck on finding anything PR67 and above since the pops are 1 or 2!

10C 1942 PCGS PR66 CAMEO
  THE REAL DEAL!
Sold on 02/2013
Here is a starting fact: this is the FINEST graded and ONLY PR66 Cameo by PCGS. Thats after seeing millions of coins over 25+ years! WOW!

This coin clearly has moderate contrast. Both sides have ultra deep, crystal clear, clean, and incredibly reflective mirrors. They look like liquid mercury. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted a silvery white and are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. Apparently this coin was sold for nothing back in 10/12. It brought only $2,820.00 (we paid much more than that). We think it should be closer to $5,000.00. Time has proven the pops will remain low to no....

$20 1910D PCGS MS66
  AMAZINGLY CLEAN!
Sold on 02/2013
This is an impossible coin to find nice even in MS65. To find an ULTRA HIGH END MS66 like this-miraculous!

The absolute highlight of this piece has to be its seriously ULTRA clean surfaces. Get out a microscope, there are NO marks, ticks, or lines. A full booming luster shows off absolutely ORIGINAL deep gold colored surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 113, NGC 47, CAC 15. The important number to look at here-the 15 that are beaned by CAC. The last CAC to sell was back in 2011 and the coin brought $8,338.00. This coin is knocking on MS66+ door! Your just not going to see many of these offered.

1C 1837 PCGS MS65 RD N-16 NAFTZGER
THE FINEST EARLY RED THAT EXISTS!
Sold on 02/2013
When this coin originally sold-we were the underbidders. It haunted us since 2009. When the coin became available-we bought it! We consider this piece to absolutely be one of the FINEST (if not the FINEST) early RED Large Cent. We also think its ULTRA HIGH END!

Unbelievable surfaces are amazingly perfect. Only with a strong glass can you detect some tiny toning dots-NOT spots or problems. An outrageous intense booming luster beams from all over. Both sides are a mind-boggling full ORIGINAL GEM MINT RED-with NO fading! Think about that, 176 years old and it is almost like it left the Mint! Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are well struck. There was uneven striking pressure so some of the stars are flat (probably what keeps this coin from a MS66 RD). The eye appeal is beyond amazing and is absolutely something you will NEVER forget-we did not.

PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. back in 02/2009 at the Naftzger sale this coin brought $35,650.00. Sure, we paid more today-but we also think this coin should be worth $75,000.00-$100,000.00. There is nothing else like it! This coin has been away in world class type set since the 2009 sale.

The prestige and admiration your collection will receive with this iconic coin will be never ending. We can not stress enough-there is NOTHING else remotely close to this piece!
