5C 1900 PCGS PR67
  SENSATIONAL!
Sold on 02/2014
High end, high grade GEM Proof Liberty Nickels are delightful to see. This piece is certainly all there and then some!

Glittering deep, crystal clear, clean, and highly flashy mirrors beam from all over. If you really want to nit pick, there is a microscopic toning dot on the reverse-there are NO problems. Both sides are a beautiful pale ORIGINAL nickel blue color. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 22, NGC 28, CAC 11. We have not seen ant PR67 PCGS CAC sell in the last year. We think at these prices, PR67 pieces represent excellent value!

10C 1909O PCGS MS66
  INCREDIBLE COLORS!
Sold on 02/2014
This coin has long been a favorite of ours. We've kept it close for about 20 years. We've never seen any other O Mint Barber Dime like it!

To start, the quality is SUPER high end. The surfaces are super clean and satiny. A full booming luster shows off incredible unquestionably ORIGINAL rings of green/blue/rose/pale violet/gold on the obverse while the same colors are more free flowing on the reverse. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is stunning!

PCGS 12, NGC 3, CAC 4. We're pretty sure this coin is represented more then once on the pops. There are no auction records for this coin. We think its special and will make a great addition to any GEM collection-or its a great "put away" piece.

  SUPERB!
Sold on 02/2014
Really great quality and originality here!

Both sides are super clean and smooth. Only if you use a really strong glass will you find a microscopic toning dot (there are NO spots). A bold luster also shows off the totally ORIGINAL GEM MINT RED color/gold color (this coin is stable and is not turning). Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 46, NGC 32, CAC 6. PCGS has graded only ONE coin finer. The last PCGS CAC piece we could find that sold in auction brought $3,818.00 10/2012 Heritage. We bought this coin right-and we're not selling it in auction today!

  VERY HIGH END!
Sold on 02/2014
Wicked neat! This is an R-4 (76-100 minted) die trail for the new 2C piece design. We think the quality of this coin is VERY high end! Besides, isn't an 1863 2C Proof pretty cool?

Deep, clear, clean, and strong mirrors do offer bold reflectivity. Upon examining with a glass you will find NO imperfections-but lots of interesting die breaks and clash marks. You can tell this piece was custom struck. Both sides are a deeper and totally ORIGINAL brown/blue/violet color. Every detail is needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is pretty wicked neat looking!

PCGS 13,NGC 0, CAC 3. We cannot find any auction records of any PCGS CAC piece selling. It should be noted that regular 1864 in PR65BN would cost about $2,500.00. So this piece is not crazy out of line priced. This coin would also make a great addition to ANY GEM PR 2C set.

$1 1868 PCGS PR65 CAMEO
  AN INTENSE GLITTERING GEM!
Sold on 02/2014
On a scale of 1-10, this coin is pure 11! It is one of the nicest, freshest, and quality oriented ORIGINAL GEM Proof Seated Dollars you will see! We also grade it PR65 CA+ (PCGS apparently does not).

The huge fields are covered by incredible glassy mirrors that are deep, have crystal clear clarity, are clean, and have super bold reflectivity. Critical to note: there is NO haze anywhere. This is a coin that you can twirl all day and still be impressed. Some very faint ORIGINAL gold can be detected-this is NOT a dipped out coin. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is intense!

ONLY 600 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 7, NGC 6, CAC 4. PCGS has graded only ONE coin finer after 25+ years of operations. This coin has NOT been in any recent auction. back in 08/2013 a PCGS CAC PR did sell for $22,325.00 Heritage. Do not be fooled. Even though one sold last year, you will NOT see many more of these ever offered (prior to that coin, the last one was offered back in 2010)! Opportunity knocks loud here!

  SUPERB!
Sold on 02/2014
Can't beat this coin's superior qualities!

Most impressive is how incredible clean and smooth the surfaces are. We used a strong glass and looked hard for problems and found NONE any where of ANY size. A strong luster also shows off the satiny smooth and totally ORIGINAL creamy white color. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. You can actually see all the rivets in the shield! The eye appeal is like the quality-SUPERB!

PCGS 104, NGC 56, CAC 9. The last one of these to sell in a major auction brought $1,939.00 05/2013 Stacks.

50C 1839 DRAPERY PCGS MS64 EX COL GREEN/NEWMAN
  ULTRA HIGH END!
Sold on 02/2014
Ultra high end! We actually resubmitted it 3X seeking an MS65. Obvious, 3x PCGS said NO!

We believe a small and light area of "chatter" in the right obverse field is whats holding back this great coin. The microscopic ticks are covered by a toning finger print. Overall, the coin is VERY clean and smooth. Both sides enjoy a full booming luster and even have traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. A mix of navy/golden brown/champagne cover the peripheries and open into silvery centers. This a totally ORIGINAL coins-not one of the dipped and retoned Newman pieces. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have sharp strikes. The appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 14, NGC 15, CAC 3. The last one to sell in major auction brought $6,462.00 08/2013 Stacks. This coin is nicer! Regardless, we paid a high MS64 price ($9,650.00), and will offer it at the right level.

1C 1857 LG PCGS PR65BN SMALL DATE
  ULTRA HIGH END!
Sold on 02/2014
When we call a coin ULTRA high end, we are NOT hyping it. We are stating a fact on how we see the grade. We are usually pretty strict graders too! This coin is simply incredible. PCGS at the very least should have graded it 65+. Can't see why they did not. They are just crazy tight on earlier GEM copper!

To add to the speech on this coins quality: it has amazing deep, crystal clear, clean, and surprisingly reflective mirrors. While not deep like a 1856 PR Dime, the mirrors are strong and look like a freshly formed sheet of glass. Both sides are a gorgeous totally ORIGINAL mix of pale brown/gold/baby blue colors that swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and stand out with light frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!

ONLY 238 were ever minted. PCGS 13, NGC 8, CAC 7. The last one to sell in major auction brought $8,812.00 11/13 Heritage. Just imagine how much this coin would be worth if it were silver. What a great deal this represents. Our coin is fresh to the market!

  THE FINEST GRADED!
Sold on 02/2014
We can not believe out eyes! This coin is PHENOMENAL for an earlier GEM MS Seated Quarter. We grade it 66.8+!

We carefully examines this awesome GEM. Imperfections do NOT exist anywhere. The surfaces are pristine-and even using a strong glass, they still hold up. A surprising strong luster shows off moderate and totally ORIGINAL colors of dove gray/blue/pale golden brown that swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal will make any MS Seated Collectors heart pound!

PCGS 1, NGC 3, CAC 2. THIS IS THE ONLY PCGS MS66+, there are NO coins graded higher at PCGS (NGC has one NON CAC MS67). This coin has never traded in auction. Four years ago a PCGSMS66 brought $15,525.00 in an auction. We can not stress enough this coins extreme quality and rarity! Be glad this coin is not in any auction.

ONLY 731 sets at most were ever minted!

1C PCGS PR66RD. VERY HIGH END. Deep and glassy mirrors are the epitome of perfection. They have NO problems. The reflectivity and clarity are stunning. A small stain can be seen in the feathers. No question the color is ORIGINAL GEM MINT RED. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!

5C PCGS PR67. Boldly reflective mirrors are deep, clear, clean, and have lots of life. A faint hint of gold/pale blue is evenly spread allover. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have light frost. The eye appeal is great!

10C PCGS PR67. The lightest colored of all the silver coins. We think it was flipped over for many years. Both sides do have crisp, clean, clear, and highly reflective mirrors. The colors are light versions of the same pale olive/deep blue the other coins enjoy. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is excellent!

25C PCGS PR67. Totally ORIGINAL shades of deeper purple/blue/olive colors are evenly spread all over. The mirrors are perfect and have strong reflectivity. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is terrific!

50C PCGS PR67. VERY HIGH END quality. Yet another clearly identical colored piece. Extra deep, clear, extra clean, and strongly reflective mirrors can be see all over the surfaces. The same deeper blue/olive/purple totally ORIGINAL mix of colors is spread evenly around both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is also terrific!

$1 PCGS PR67. The superstar of the set! Deep and exceptional fully reflective mirrors reveal no problems. Only with a super strong glass can you find some light die polishing lines scattered around. Both sides have an even mix of the same deeper blue/purple/olive totally ORIGINAL color mix the other silver coins have. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal and flash of this coin are tremendous!
,br>Spread out this set and go coin to coin. You WILL be more then impressed. We are doing our part of keeping a great set like this together. There are a couple coins greedy dealers would break this setup to get.

We have priced this set at what we calculated to be more then far. We Are working close on it. It does have a small set premium. You also need to keep in mind: you can't ever find #1 OGH sets, #2 it is a 100% matched ORIGINAL set, #3 all coins in it are CAC! An FYI, the Collectors Universe total value for each coin in the set is $38,950.00. Remember that does not include for #1-3 of important set facts we just mentioned.

Legend Numismatics is proud to offer this exceptional set which we consider to be from the last frontier in numismatics. When have you ever seen another 1897 set in SUPERB GEM??? We do very much consider this set to be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
