$1 1900O PCGS MS67 EX SIMPSON COLLECTION
  A GORGEOUS BLAST WHITE GEM!
Sold on 07/2010
EX Simpson Collection-one of the greatest collections ever formed. In his early days, we bought anything we thought was neat. This coin certainly fit the bill!

This is a real MS67, not an MS66 raised up a point. Both sides are immaculate and appear smooth. A full booming luster also shows off super white unmessed with surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have full strikes. Her cheek is clean and never was touched. For a 00O, the eye appeal is spectacular!

PCGS 29, NGC 66, CAC 4.

$1 1923 PCGS MS66+ SIMPSON
  A BEAUTIFUL COIN!
Sold on 06/2010
Yet another great GEM from the amazing Simpson Collection-a collection of epic proportions that will never be out done!

An intense luster shows off clean and smooth surfaces overall on both sides. There is a small stain by the lips. This coin is NOT dipped out and is a bold frosty white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!

CAC 102.

Next step up costs $4,500.00.

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!

  UNBELIEVABLE IT EVEN EXISTS!
Sold on 06/2010
204 years old and still GEM RD-WOW! This is a mind blowing coin!

We think the coin is an MS63+. PCGS has seen so few of these they are tight as can be when they grade them. There are NO major marks anywhere. The dots you see are teenie TONING dots-not negative spots. The color is a 100% MINT RD ORIGINAL (and its NOT turning either). Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. You will stare at this coin forever because of its color, beauty, and quality.

PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 1. No service has graded ANY higher. How many can survive like this? After 21+ years of operations, the services at best have come up with 3 coins (we think one was crossed over)?

We think this coin is too cheap. It last sold for $12,650.00 1/2009 Stacks. This is from the Cardinal Collection of Early Copper. Opportunity will never knock louder.

  A GLITTERING GEM!
Sold on 06/2010
High end quality. Super flashy and virtually pristine mirrors cover the surfaces of both sides. Only one teenie weenie fleck can be seen with a glass at 5:30 on the lower obverse rim area. There is a blush of light gold on the right obverse. All of the details are frosted and have razor sharp strikes. The eye appeal is excellent!

Only 600 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 32, NGC 13, CAC 3.

50C 1921 MISSOURI 2X4 PCGS MS66
  A LIVELY SUPERB GEM!
Sold on 06/2010
We are pleased to own and offer this truly SUPERB HIGH END Missouri. It is by far one of the nicest we have handled in a few years!

First, we must say we do not recall any Missouri with a luster so strong. It actually jumps out at you. This coin was never dipped or messed with. The surfaces appear satiny smooth and super clean. A light shade of pale lavender covers parts of the surfaces. The details are all exceptionally struck. You actually can see some of the shoulder strap on the reverse. The overall eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 24, NGC 24, CAC 5. The last one we handled of these was in 2008. We sold that coin WHOLESALE for $11,500.00.

Unfortunately Commems have suffered badly from gradeflation. This date was one of the hardest hit. We can not stress enough how rare it is to find a truly nice specimen-especially in the lofty grade of MS66 (to this day, there are NO MS67's at PCSG or NGC).

  POWERFUL!
Sold on 06/2010
For a small coin, it offers quite powerful quality and eye appeal.

Its hard to imagine how this coin managed to stay so fine all of its 161 years of existence. both sides have no problems. With a really strong glass you can detect some minor die clashing (typical to the date). The color is a deeper yellow gold. There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and do appear boldly. The eye appeal is great!

We do not agree with the PCGS pops for MS66's. We think there may have been a coin resubmitted a few times. PCGS 12, NGC 3, CAC 1. PCGS has graded only one MS67 (and yes, it is CAC'd). This coin belongs in the finest Type set or Gold Dollar Collection!

  STUNNING LIGHT COLORS!
Sold on 06/2010
Mother nature created this coin to be a show off! EVERYTHING about this GEM is PHENOMENAL and ORIGINAL!

Collectors, look and learn. THIS IS A PERFECT COIN! The fields have light die striations (Mint made) but NO marks anywhere-even using a strong glass. A full booming luster shows off the satiny texture as well as the colors. Light but electric pearl green/gold/pale violet swirl on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are about as fully struck as you will ever find. Your jaw will drop and lock when you see this monster!

PCGS 22, NGC 14, CAC 4. Do not let the pops fool you, we do not see these offered with any frequency.

A perfect coin for a killer Type or Walker set.

Note; the colors probably will not come through the images. This is a "must see' coin.

  A BORDERLINE MS67!
Sold on 06/2010
Not only is this coin high end, we really can 't see any reason why the fine folks at PCGS did not grade it MS67. All of the qualities are there. Both sides have smooth and super clean surfaces. A strong luster shows off mostly creamy white surfaces that have a pale touch of gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is super!

Not as common as you might this. PCGS 20, NGC 25, CAC 1.
