$1 1889CC PCGS MS62
  VERY HIGH END!
Sold on 05/2010
Now this is something we definitely have not owned in many years. At first glance, in a dealers box this coin looked like an MS63. We just shook our heads when we saw the old green tag that said MS62. A high end coin like this is definitely something Legend wants to own!

For an MS62, the coins cleanliness is clearly above average. You really need a strong glass to see the ticks. both sides have an ultra intense luster and traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. Her cheek is actually clean and has NOT been messed with. We could go on and on about how impressive this coin is. The eye appeal is totally fabulous and is lively!

PCGS 80, NGC 94, CAC 2. The next step up in MS63 will cost you OVER $35,000.00-and you may not find a coin as nice as this!

$20 1926S PCGS MS65
  A REAL MS65+!
Sold on 05/2010
Rarely do we find better date $20's like this in true GEM. Also, this coin is not messed with (something equally as rare).

This coin has the looks of a 1925. Both sides are satiny, have a few VERY TEENIE scattered ticks, and blaze with a full booming luster. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 30, NGC 20, CAC 5. PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher (one is in our Simpson Collection).

Note: We recently saw 2 PCGS MS65 26's coins. Let us just say we do not know how they were graded 65. Its dreck like those that are keeping the prices of a good coin like this down. Even if you are not a picky Saint collector, you would instantly see this coin blows most others (especially the 2 we mentioned) away!

$1 1894 PCGS PR65 CAMEO
  PHENOMENAL!
Sold on 05/2010
We definitely are NOT hyping the coin by calling it PHENOMENAL! You have to see this PR65CAM+++ coin to believe it (no, it is NOT in a Secure Plus Holder)!

Unbelievable icy clear, super clean, and glassy smooth mirrors off the ultimate in reflectivity. A thin band of blue/pale violet colors frame the rims only. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted a silvery white and are fully struck. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!

972 pieces were minted. PCGS 8, NGC 6, CAC 1.

The last NGC coin to sell in major auction brought $6,612.00 07/08 Heritage. The last PCGS PR65 Cameo sold at a major sale brought $5,175.00 in 2002 Superior! This date and grade are NOT by common by any stretch. And we doubt many of the specimens that do exist come close to this coins killer quality. Another FYI: The last PCGS PR66Cameo that sold at a major auction brought $20,125.00 08/2004 B+M! Even a NGC PR64Cameo sold for $4,600.00 in 2009. Opportunity knocks incredibly loud here!

$1 1878 TRADE NGC PR64 CAMEO
  FLASHY !
Sold on 05/2010
This is a big flashy and totally quality oriented coin. You can sit and stare at all day and smile!

Crystal clear and deep mirrors offer incredibly strong reflectivity. Only some light and scattered lines are visible. There is a neat light ring of pale purple around the rims. Miss Liberty and the details boldly stand out with heavy silvery white frost and needle sharp features. The eye appeal will mesmerize you!

This is a Proof ONLY date with just 900 pieces minted. PCGS 15, NGC 16, CAC 7.

The last one to sell in major public auction brought $4,255.00 in 2006 (ANR)! A PCGS coin sold in 2009 for $4,887.00. Opportunity knocks loud here!

$1 1892CC PCGS MS64 SUNNYWOOD/SIMPSON
A SENSATIONAL COLORED NEAR MISS MS65!
Sold on 05/2010
WOW! BOTH sides are outrageously toned!

After surveying this GEM with a strong glass, we could not find many marks. To the naked eye, this coin looks super clean. You can clearly see the cheek is devoid of problems. A full booming luster adds to the colors. Miss Liberty is fully struck and have light frost.

We grade the colors MS67.9! If we had not seen the coin Sunnywood replaced this with, we'd think he was crazy for calling it a duplicate! BOTH sides are evenly blanketed by a circular mix of neon like blue at the rims which blends into killer violet/burnt orange/pale purple/gold colors. You will look at this coin ALL day-its that awesome! < br>
If you are building a colored CC Morgan set, we know you won't find a prettier colored 1892CC!

A regular white average MS65 will still cost you $8,000.00.

This was one of the last coins Sunnywood replaced in his #1 set. Thats why it still could be pedigreed Sunnywood/Simpson (our customer who owns the set now) on the holder. This was not just a duplicate. We have posted this coin at our BEST price!

$1 1881O PCGS MS64 SONNIER COLLECTION
  A VOLCANIC EXPLOSION!
Sold on 05/2010
SONNIER COLLECTION (not on the holder). First, we grade this coin SUPER HIGH END. We actually resubmitted it twice seeking an MS65. Take our word on it, we paid a ton for it raw. This is the ONLY coin in the Sonnier Collection that we did not get the minimum grade we expected. Save for the coin in the Sunnywood/Simpson collection, we doubt you will EVER see another 81O as wildly toned.

The obverse looks like a volcano just erupted and spewed molton colors all over. Electric blue/green beams from thin bands at the rims and blands into electric violet/red then gold centers. These colors are the type you see on S Mints. We grade them MS68.8! The reverse has thin blue at the rims and light patches of golden brown scattered about.

An unusual intense headlight luster illuminates both sides. The surfaces appear clean overall (only under a strong glass can you see a few scattered ticks). Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck.

No kidding, this coin is an absolute MONSTER COLORED GEM. Had we gotten an MS65, we'd have valued this coin at $15,000.00. Try and find another like it, we sure haven't seen any we recall.

This coin is posted at our BEST price!

25C 1888 NGC PR65 CAMEO
  BEAUTIFUL!
Sold on 05/2010
We love this flashy ORIGINAL GEM!

Both sides have super deep, clear, and powerfully flashy mirrors. A few light scattered lines are visible-but they are just that and do not detract. A band of purple/blue toning frames mostly the rims and really makes the coin stand out. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and display thick white frost. The eye appeal is terrific!

Only 832 coins were ever minted. PCGS 7, NGC 12, CAC 1. In PR66 Cameo CAC has only stickered one coin so far. This is NOT a date or grade you will see frequently offered.

$20 1908D MOTTO PCGS MS67
  A BORDERLINE MS68!
Sold on 05/2010
EX GOLD RUSH COLLECTION. Is it hype to call this coin a borderline MS68? NO! Like all the coins from that amazing collection (most ended up upgrading) it will be impossible to find a better Motto 08D.

You will NEVER see a Saint with so few-if any marks. Calling it perfect could be considered an understatement. The surfaces are also satiny and lustrous. There are NO spots or discolorations. The color is an even moderate gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. In no way has this coin ever been dipped or messed with. The eye appeal is AMAZING!

PCGS 3, NGC 2, CAC 2. VIP: The two other PCGS MS67's are locked up in major collections (one is our own Simpson). Unless the world collapses or PCGS decided to make another, this will be the ONLY example available.

The last auction record for one was in 2008. That coin sold for $92,000.00. This coin has been off the market pretty much since the Gold Rush Sale in 2005! it is still housed in its original pancake holder. Opportunity does more than just knock here-it goes kaboom!

$20 1907 HIGH RELIEF PCGS MS65 FLAT EDGE
  AWESOME CLEANLINESS!
Sold on 05/2010
Sadly, High Reliefs suffer not only from gradeflation, but they are a favorite target of coin doctors. To find one like this that is high end, not messed with, and is accurately graded-is more of a feat than you think (and a VERY sad statement about how lax the services had gotten).

At first glance the stunning "deep dish" appearance blows you away. As you study the coin more, you will find NO impairments anywhere. In fact the surfaces are slightly satiny and have a strong luster. The color of the coin is an even gold. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are the way you expect them to be on a High Relief-fully struck. The eye appeal is awesome!

PCGS 97, NGC 73, CAC 11.

Legend is pleased to offer a sensational example of one of the most beautiful coins ever minted.

  INCREDIBLE!
Sold on 05/2010
We try hard to only deal int he top 5% for the grade. That's why so many of the coins we buy are so incredible. This coin is no exception.

At first sight, you see a surprising amount of GEM ORIGINAL Mint Red color. Its not enough to be called RB, but you can clearly see the red. The surfaces are smooth, super clean, and have a fantastic booming luster. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and fully struck. This is one heck of a 156 year old coin! The eye appeal is phenomenal!

PCGS 12, NGC 40, CAC 2.

The last two sold in major public auctions brought $1,495.00+$2,645.00 09/2009 Goldberg. You are totally wrong if you think this date in Superb GEM is common.
