Item - 5968
$1 1883CC PCGS MS65 DMPL
A GEM BLACK AND WHITE THRILLER!
Sold on 12/2010
This coin is the way ALL Morgan DMPL Dollars used to be (and should be). It is a FULLY black and white camoed GEM.

Both sides have mirrors that are deep, crystal clear, clean, have killer reflectivity. the mirrors are a full 8++ and are the type you can shave with. Even in a dark room these mirrors glow! Miss Liberty and the devices have heavy snowy white frost on top of fully struck details. Her cheek is amazingly clean and is unmessed with. If your not blinded by the flash, your eyes WILL pop out when you see this GEM!

PCGS 691, NGC 266, CAC 29. We wish we could find and buy EVERY DMPL that looks like this!

  SUPER HIGH END!
Sold on 12/2010
WOW what a coin! Even we tried it once for an MS65. Not sure what PCGS saw.

The coin DOES look better than MS64. Sensational prooflike mirrors combine with a super charged luster and really attract your eye balls. The surfaces are super clean and look crystal clear. Some light NON hazy gold/pale purple toning is spread about the surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are boldly frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is amazing!

Only 4400 were minted. PCGS 20, NGC 13, CAC 2. At first glance, you'll think its a proof! Opportunity knocks loud as all heck here!

$2.5 1911 PCGS PR65
  TOTALLY ORIGINAL!
Sold on 12/2010
These are extremely rare when they are unmolested and are true GEM's (like this coin). Matte Proof Gold has really suffered over the past few years due to over stripping of their original skin and gradeflation. PCGS is so ridiculously tight on what they grade of these we have seen numerous instances when they refused to slab a nice coin! CAC is also extremely tough on what they sticker.

No question this coin is 100% ORIGINAL. There is no putty and it has not been stripped. The surfaces are fresh matte texture and have that special sparkle. Only one or two MINOR shinny spots can be found-however there are NO black spots. The color is a rich deep sand. All of the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and look sculpted! Even though these are not brilliant mirrored proofs, a superb coin like this DOES indeed have great eye appeal.

Only 191 were minted. PCGS 17, NGC 20, CAC 1. According to our records, the last one to sell at major auction went for $28,750.00 1/2008 Heritage. We strongly believe in the potential of all ORIGINAL Matte Pr gold.

  HIGH END!
Sold on 12/2010
We like this piece for the grade, and you will too. Both sides are extremely clean and satiny. There is not even the slightest problem visible. A full booming luster shows off the beautiful yellow gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is beautiful!

  MISS GODZILLA! COIN #2
Sold on 12/2010
COIN #2. As we mentioned before, with the Mr WOW coin, we have a small group of the most mind boggling 1939D colored Mercs you will EVER see! This is the same group that spawned at least 12 MS69 FB coins!

Miss Godzilla is knocking on MS69's door. PCGS could easily have graded her a 69. Both sides have absolutely FLAWLESS surfaces that are on fire with an intense luster. The color combination includes electric pearl green/golden brown/violet/blue/amber/gold. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and do stand out. The eye appeal is UNBELIEVABLE!

PCGS 86, NGC 31, CAC 11. Even spending the $8,050.00 one of the MS 69's sold for at the ANA Auction won't get you a coin that is really any better. This is a must see for sure!

  WONDERAMA!
Sold on 12/2010
We have seen most of the MS69's, this coin is technically equal. The ONLY thing that could keep it from a MS69, the colors are friggin gorgeous, just they do not make your head fully explode!

Sensational and absolutely PERFECT surfaces are satiny. A full booming luster also shows off the gorgeous lilac centers which are surrounded by awesome bursts of reddish gold/pearl green/lime colors. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have light frost. The eye appeal is phenomenal!

Regular pops: PCGS 86, NGC 31, CAC 11. In + there are only 2 coins.

The only way to get a better coin-and it won't really be much better is to buy an MS69 for nearly $10,000.00! Opportunity knocks as hard as it can here!

  A REAL MS64.9+!!!!
Sold on 12/2010
if you see this coin in person you will agree that PCGS could very easily have graded it MS65. You bet ya we have seen worse in MS65 holders!

This coin has a wonderful "fresh" look because it is a "fresh" coin to market. We had it graded.

Both sides are incredibly smooth, satiny, and blaze with an intense booming luster. The colors are even yellow gold with hints of reddish gold in a few areas. There are NO spots. The cleanliness of the coin is superior also. No question this is a totally original GEM. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is tremendous!

Regular pops are: PCGS 47, NGC 39, CAC 6. The last regular NON CAC MS64 to sell in major auction brought $8,338.00 08/2009 B+M. Today, an MS65 would WHOLESALE for nearly $20,000.00 if it were stickered and looked like this. We bought this GEM right and priced it reasonably.

AS FRESH AND ORIGINAL AS THEY COME!
Sold on 12/2010
A GEMMY coin all the way!

Both sides are unquestionably ORIGINAL. There is plenty of "skin" (original satiny surface) that is vivid and offers an unbroken and strong luster. The color is a deeper gold. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck up. Her bust also has some light frost. The eye appeal is excellent!

PCGS 64, NGC 478, CAC 25. The last one to sell in major auction was NOT CAC'd. It still brought $4,140.00 07/08. these are NOT nearly as common as the pops make them sound.
