Item - 7873
$3 1888 NGC PR65 CAMEO
  GORGEOUS!
Sold on 05/2012
This SUPERB piece is a PR65 cameo by ANYONE'S tough standards!

Crystal clear and ICE like mirrors adorn both sides. They are deep and have no significant problems. The reflectivity is bold. Only with a strong glass can you detect a few light lines. Both sides are a beautiful bright yellow gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is outstanding!

ONLY 291 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 5, NGC 18, CAC 2. The last one to appear at major auction-a NON CAC piece brought $25,300.00 in 01/2009 Heritage. That's 3 years with none on the market (the last PCGS was 2007). Opportunity knocks loud here!

$1 1800 PCGS XF45
  COOL-A GEM XF!
Sold on 05/2012
Not a coin we typically handle. But while going thru a dealers biz, this piece actually stood out. It called us back-and then we bought it!

This is definitely a NICE and problem free XF. There even is a touch of ORIGINAL luster. Overall, the surfaces look smooth. The color is a pretty deep (NOT drab) silver. The wear is light and there are NO discolorations and the coin is NOT scrubbed up or messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. This coin just had that "right" look. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 99, NGC 112, CAC 11. There is a sightUNSEEN WHOLESALE BID of $5,250.00 for these. If you have been following our offerings, you know its not too often we have circ Bust Dollars. This coin is that nice!

$20 1895 NGC PR65 ULTRA CAMEO

Sold on 05/2012
We had to buy this coin. It was just too nice!

The surfaces front and back are fully struck, showing all of the Liberty Head design's intricate detail to maximum advantage. The Ultra Cameo designation means that the surfaces show an optimal (and profoundly deep) contrast between fields and devices, easily fading to the desirable gold-on-black appearance with a slight turn of the coin. There is exceptional clarity in the mirrors as well. The obverse shows little sign of contact beyond some minuscule marks in the right field behind Liberty's head (you need a glass to see them). The eye appeal is that fantastic!

ONLY 51 pieces were ever minted. this is NOT a common date. PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 1. PCGS+NGC EACH have graded only ONE coin higher. Good luck on ever finding another!

this is a classic really RARE GEM PR $20. Need we say much more as to why we strongly recommend it?

  PURE ELECTRICITY!
Sold on 05/2012
Deep and glittering mirrors are crystal clear and have remarkable reflectivity. The mirrors remind you of "liquid mercury" and have no haze anywhere. There are NO problems either. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted a silvery white and pinpoint sharp strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 185, NGC 280, CAC 44. The last NGC/CAC piece to sell in major auction brought $1,162.50 12/2011 Heritage.

3CS 1873 PCGS PR66
  A DYNAMITE COIN!
Sold on 05/2012
We love 3CS Proofs when they are nearly perfect. This coin is only a few light (Mint made) striations from being a full PR67!

Both sides display highly reflective mirrors. They are crystal clear and have remarkable cleanliness. A deeper but vibrant mix of ORIGINAL navy/violet/olive form a dramatic color scheme. Every detail is frosty and have a pinpoint sharp strike. The eye appeal is stunning!

This is a PROOF ONLY date with just 600 pieces minted. PCGS 11, NGC 27, CAC 8. These are much harder to find nice than you think! The last CAC coin to sell in major auction was a NGC piece. It realized $3,737.00 07/11 Heritage. The nest step up will now cost you at least $10,000.00-if you can find a CAC coin! 3CS are a great set to build-and you can complete it over time.

Sold on 05/2012
To make this qa $225,000.00 GEM really won't take much. This coin is a real MS64+!

Only a few very light lines and teenie ticks keep this coin from being a full MS65. The surfaces are totally ORIGINAL. A full booming luster shows off beautiful ORIGINAL orange/gold colors. There are one or two teenie toning dots scattered about. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp strikes. The reverse is full MS65 quality. The eye appeal is fantastic!

Intensely lustrous this coin can be seen from across the street. The surfaces are snowy white and are not dipped out or messed with.
