G $1 1885 PCGS MS66+
VERY HIGH END! We've seen some MS67's not nearly as nice!
Light semi-prooflike mirrors cover both sides and have NO problems. There are NO spots. The colors are a swirling orange/yellow/pinkish gold and are totally original. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous!
PCGS 24, NGC 61, CAC 6. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $3,220.00 04/2008 Heritage.
THIS IS THE ONLY MS66+ GRADED SO FAR BY PCGS.

AMAZING QUALITY!
Sold on
02/2011
This is one awesome Two and Half Dollar Liberty!
Using a powerful glass all you can find is a teenie toning spot and a stray small line-NOTHING is visible to the naked eye. Overall, the surfaces appear clean and smooth. A strong luster shows off a thick satiny luster. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is exceptional!
PCGS 38, NGC 93, CAC 8. The last one to sell in major public auction brought $5,463.00 1/2011 Heritage. We bought this coin privately-it has not been in any auctions.

$1 1885 PCGS MS66+
AMAZING! About 80% of the obverse is covered by a beautiful mix of soft brown/gold/pale blue. You can clearly see the surfaces below which are outrageously clean. A monster full booming luster adds to the colors, but also shows off fully struck and heavily frosted details. This is a killer 1885 that is well worthy of its designation.
PCGS (REGULAR 1268) 14, NGC (REGULAR 1579) 3, CAC 93.

AN AMAZING SUPERB GEM!
Sold on
02/2011
This is an R-7 (4-12 minted) struck in copper nickel. It has to be on of the prettiest Washington Head patterns we have EVER seen!
Incredible fully deep, crystal clear, super clean, and powerfully reflective mirrors highlight both sides. A killer kaleidoscope like color scheme of purple/pearl green/blue/gold swirls all over and really calls attention to the coin. Washington and all of the details are frosty and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is definitely a WOW!
PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. There are NO auction records. the Judd book values this at $12,000.00 in PR65. We believe this coin to be the second finest known behind the Simpson Specimen and the only available true GEM. Opportunity does not just knock, goes kaboom here!

$2.5 1877 PCGS MS62
CLOSE TO MS63!
Sold on
02/2011
The extreme rarity and great quality of this coin cannot be overstated.
There are a few teenie ticks scattered around both sides. Only one scuff/small cut in the upper left obverse is visible with out a glass (remember this is only a MS62). Keep in mind, this coin has strong prooflike mirrors and luster that magnify even the tiniest tick. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do have heavy obvious frost. The eye appeal is really beautiful!
PCGS 5, NGC 9, CAC 1. It is VERY important information that PCGS has ONLY graded 5 coins higher after 25 years of operations. The mintage is a mere 1632. The last one to sell in major auction brought $4,778.00 10/10 Heritage. Even a NON stickered NGC coin sold for $4,600.00 02/2010 Heritage. Not a date you will see offered much in ANY grade!

$3 1877 PCGS AU58
THE SILENT STOPPER TO THE SERIES!
Sold on
02/2011
This date in AU50 and higher (CAC'd of course) is probably one of the easiest coins anyone can sell to us. We have forever been in love and feel these are GROSSLY UNDERVALUED!
Only both using a strong glass can you detect any slight wear at all. There are some old ticks and lines, but nothing that's discolored or stands out. Both sides do offer traces of prooflike mirrors and are also very lustrous. A deeper shade of orange gold swirls about. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is great!
Only 1468 were ever minted. PCGS 8, NGC 12, CAC 2. This date in AU58 is much rarer than a 1881, pop 20, mintage 500, and a 1885 PCGS 19, mintage 801. This definitely is the "silent stopper" for the series.
Unfortunately, we have seen many of these that were messed with. To find one not messed with is much more difficult than you realize.
